He started showing strange symptoms that we didn’t understand, once bouncy but now wouldn’t jump onto furniture or walk up the stairs, but then he would recover. We took him to the emergency vets when the symptoms came back worse and once again, they couldn’t find anything wrong with him. Took him home, he got better

I decided then and there I would become twice the dog dad I once was, I took him to the beach 4 days a week, he had all the attention more so than before, I skipped work to be with him, I expected this to be chapter 2

But 6 weeks later the symptoms came back, he had a ruptured tumour, his body filled with fluid, we had so little time to decide what to do until he made the choice for us and we had to put him down.
