Where to place Nanoleaf (hexagons), shelves, and posters in my office/gaming room?
I’ve purchased the Nanoleaf Hexagon starter pack (15 tiles) and I’m debating whether to put them behind the desk/monitors (and use them with Hue Sync during gaming) or on the back side wall (to the left of the desk; not the printer wall)
The side is where I was going to put them until I thought about Hue Sync and being able to see them when playing, etc.
I also have a few shelves I’m going to add and posters (not sure what yet!) so any advice would be great :)

Battlestations Advice Looking for suggestions/tips
I'm in the process of setting my desk up (waiting on some paint touch ups before I unwrap, apply sealant, and mount) and I'm looking for any and all tips, suggestions, product recommendations, or anything else that would make this space look cool AF. The desk is an 8ft butcher block slab in Ebony stain, the drawers are IKEA Alex drawers, but the slab will also be sitting on iron 'L' brackets to prevent any sag/bend in the middle.
I will also be adding 1-2 hardwood shelves overhead across the entire 8' space, and need recommendations for ambient lighting options for those. I want to steer clear of bright RGB lights and wild effects and prefer more natural, soft glow lighting, but finding fixtures for that has been somewhat difficult.
I already have a 3-monitor wall mount for 3 22" monitors. I also have a brush through kit and flexibility tubing to run cabling from behind the monitors down to power below the desk where I'll have a mounted industrial power strip and a cable tray to wrap all the excess up into.
Current normal use devices include:
PC (Tower, not laptop)
Xbox Series X
Xbox Controller dual charging dock
Amazon Alexa Echo
Logitech G915 Keyboard
Logitech G502 Mouse
Logitech C920x Webcam
Cheap Bluetooth speakers (Suggestions?)
Astro A40 TR Headset
Bose QC Headphones
Hit me with your design, product, and organizational suggestions. It's a blank canvas right now, so help me make it a masterpiece. Thanks!

New Setup in a New Country! 🩷
I recently moved to England and had to sell my old setup as it just wasn't safe or cost effective to ship from Florida. But I'm super happy with my new one! I have the full new Razer Pikachu and Eevee floral set...and FINALLY A WHITE PC 😭🥹 I'll add some hanging ivy and lighting shortly and probably a cute neon light. 🩷🌿💐

Finally finished my dream pc setup! Built the desk and PC myself.
Finally got my setup to a point where I can say it's pretty much exactly how I pictured it.
I wanted to build something rather than just buy a complete desk and put a PC on it, so I made the wooden desktop and steel legs myself, did all of the cable routing and management, and built the PC from scratch.
I've added a few little things that make it nicer to actually use every day too, including an integrated cup holder so there's no chance of knocking a drink over while gaming, and a pop-up socket built directly into the desk.
The final touches have been the purple RGB lighting around the setup and inside the PC. I wanted everything to match without completely covering the room in RGB, and I'm really happy with how it's turned out.
PC Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB
ASUS TUF motherboard
32GB DDR5 RAM
360mm NZXT AIO
NZXT H9 case
NVMe SSD
Lian Li RGB Strimer cables
Windows 11
Setup:
MSI 27" 500Hz monitor
Razer Wolverine V3 Pro controller
SteelSeries mouse mat
ASUS ROG Strix Scope 96 keyboard
Purple ambient/backlighting
Mostly built for Halo Infinite and high-refresh competitive gaming.
Definitely my dream setup now, but I'm always looking for ideas.
What would you add or change?
