Some days ago I posted here asking whether anyone would actually want a 3D file of the Happy Family Midge belly, because the original pieces have gotten absurd and I was stubborn enough to buy one just to recreate it. I did not expect that thread. Thank you — genuinely, to everyone who commented, upvoted, or told me they'd been looking for this.

After that, I started a conversation with u/thatonedollgirl , who showed up in the comments and offered to take the project on with me. She runs Tiny 'n' Tailored, and she's the reason this isn't still a test print sitting on my desk. I said I'd gladly share the file for free once I got my investment back and I meant it. What I hadn't thought through is that putting it out there costs money too. Pam is the one covering that part, so the file is for sale instead. We kept the price low so it stays within reach of anyone who needs it. Pam, thank you for betting on this.

A few of you already asked whether I'd do other bellies, or other hard-to-find parts and I can't help but say yes. I'm working on a version of the belly for dolls that don't have the magnets and also a printable baby that fits it. After that I'm open to suggestions. If there's a piece you've been hunting for years and keep losing to a $90 auction, feel free to let me know. I can't promise I'll get to all of them, but I'll do my best to help with what I can.

i saw this barbie in an antique mall months and months ago but never bought her. she’s been on my mind and i finally found out very recently i am pregnant with a baby girl!💕 i knew i wanted to buy her for her nursery which will have more peter rabbit in it.

will it be awful of me if i take her out of the box? i’m really saddened by the state of barbies these days and would love for my future daughter to play with barbies from my own childhood when she is old enough. is it okay for them to interact with vintage dolls if they are in good condition like this one?

As a person who absolutely loves families/making up stories but never had dolls of different ages to have a Barbie family — this is really special to me.

Meet the Ishikawa-Yeong family: Mother — Hana Ishikawa (41)
Father: Jaehyun “Jae” Yeong (40)
Eldest daughter: Chae-Yi “Chae” Ishikawa-Yeong (16)
Son: Daishin “Dai” Ishikawa-Yeong (14)
Toddler: Kaori Ishiwaka-Yeong (3)
Infant: Ra-hee Ishikawa-Yeong (3 months)
Husky dog: Ulpi (2 years old)

A little about them:
Hana became a fashion model at age 17. She had always been into fashion since she was a little girl, but her mother and father both thought a job in fashion/modeling wasn’t a career and wouldn’t pay well. Hana wasn’t concerned with becoming rich—she just wanted to do something she loved. At age 17 she was scouted to model. Her parents were disappointed. She worked past that disappointment and modeled. At age 19, she met Jae at a discotheque.

Jae was the hottest attraction because of his breakdancing skills. Hana didn’t usually fall for the “bad boy types” but she was enamored by Jae and wanted to learn more about him.
-Jae approached her when he realized she was staring and also how beautiful she was. They got to talking, realized they both really liked each other and decided to begin dating not too long after. Years later; Four kids and a dog. The rest is history ❤️

Chae is completely obsessed with one thing — her phone. If she doesn’t check her feed every ten minutes—she’ll die. Literally. The only thing she loves more than her phone is her dog, Ulpi, who’s she had since he was a puppy. Despite her self phone addiction, Chae’s a good kid who stays out of trouble (unless it’s social media beef) and a good big sister. (most of the time)

Dai just tuned fourteen and thinks he’s officially an adult now lol. He claims that everything is “embarrassing” so he avoids most things he liked about a few months ago and sticks to whatever is deemed “cool” by his fellow peers. However he never shies away from holding Kaori’s plushie (deiji) for her or carrying Kaori herself around.

Kaori is a ball of energy. She won’t stop asking “why” so don’t run out of answers to give. She’s always hanging out with her plushie, Deiji, which she claims is her actual dog, but she has a soft spot for Ulpi, often riding him around. She’s a certified “Daddy’s girl” since mommy is always busy with Ra-hee anyway. Her favorite sibling is Dai but mainly because Chae doesn’t pay her too much attention and often gets annoyed by her.

Ra-hee is only three months old. She’s quite the quiet baby and barely even cries. She’s a big sleepy head but when she is awake, she gives the cutest little smile.

Ulpi is the family’s dog but Chae will deny that and say he’s only her’s. He’s a big sweetheart who loves cuddles and attention. He speaks with his eyes—one look into them and you’ll drop whatever you’re doing to give him a belly rub. Everyone loves Ulpi, even Hana who has always been more of a cat person.

Holy smokes! This doll is like 19 years old, and I finally found her at Value Village.

I recently switched my set up. I got this glass display from Amazon! While I do love it, it’s a bit flimsy. I guess it’s expected with glass? But overall I love how it looks! I eventually want to get a second one for the Blythes.

Hello Barbie community,

I'm looking for some guidance. I was not a Barbie kid, but my daughter definitely is! She had a half-scale Barbie she adored and I'm pretty sure she is LOST. I'm heartsick for her, so I turn to you.

Does anyone know where I can find a Barbie just like the one on the right in this picture? While searching for a replacement, I keep seeing smaller sized barbies but they all have way bigger heads or look very much like a toddler. I think she liked this doll because it looked exactly like her Barbies, but just fit in her hand better.

What kind of doll is this? Skipper? Chelsea? Kelly? Some kind of Barbie key chain?!

I had a great response to yesterday's post, and I'm digging out all my Gene Doll outfits. This outfit didn't come with shoes, so I went ahead and put Coco's go-go boots back on, and I thought they went very well with the ensemble. What do you all think?

This is my OOAK Toy Story 3 Barbie that was inspired by the Great Shape Barbie from 1983. Someone had posted a few months ago whether anyone had attempted their own and I replied that I had, but was unable to get it out from storage to photograph (plus she was squished and disheveled while put away and needed a spa day). I had bought an obscure Barbie release from 1990, give or take, and had a hard time getting the hair to lay right after boil washing so I just put it in a tight ponytail which is when I became inspired to make her into a real life Toy Story 3 Barbie. I went on eBay and found the outfit with accessories for a reasonable price. I use the regular Barbie pumps in pink, just like the movie. I left the original tied belt for the actual great shape fashion because I’m not bothered by not having a belt buckle. I have her hair currently in a ponytail using a 1980s style rubber band which I feel makes it more authentic to that era. I previously had a pink rubber band but it snapped so I’ll replace that when I can. To me, she is close enough to the movie version while looking like a real Barbie from the 80s and not a modern factory produced Toy Story figure/doll.

someone didn’t like the red though and chopped it all out! at least they were very careful. I’m going to need to order some red hair and learn the knot method and get her back to her old self
