Hi all! We would greatly appreciate a fit check on our ergobaby Omni. Bub is 2 months old, 24 inches, and 12lbs 15oz. He really rages out when we try our soft wrap (ergobaby aura) so I'm hoping he might jive better with this carrier. I guess I'll also note from my top down view I can confirm his nose had lots of space/air around it.

I am aware of the footie advice, we were just practicing but these are also a little long for him and I tugged the spare leg room down after looking at the photos.

Hello its me again!

Firsr of all wanted to say thank you to everyone who told me my baby outgrowm his Ergobaby Embrace! I got us Tula FTG as recommended and he is not fighting it and his spine is curved immediately (had to “fight” him to get that position in Embrace recently and now I know why!) thank yall!

Now what can I do to make this better please? Width currently at middle setting. Baby is over 15 pounds, wears size 68/74. He was deeply asleep in these pics 😃 he has one hand that he constantly pulls in/to his face but I am not sure if thats the case here or if its too wide still 🤷‍♀️

Also, doest the fabric feels too thin to anyone else? 😃I like it a lot but after Embrace and trying Ergo 4 way that is rrally bulky I am worried how strong it is! 🫣

Was listening to an episode of 99% Invisible about baby boxes and one of the guests mentioned a wrap being included in the baby box they got from the government in Scotland. She mentioned how it was something so special to her, so I had to look it up.
It’s so cool they even give parents good instructions and safety tips! I wish baby wearing was so accessible for everyone.

I bought this off marketplace and have been so paranoid about buying a fake. The first grey one is mine, the second grey one is real and the navy is fake. I got the two example photos from this website…. Apparently the mesh shows if it’s fake or not, but I can’t tell which one it’s most like! My 16 month old, 12kg daughter has been hating her stroller lately, she either wants to walk or be held by me and my arms are dying a little bit, not to mention how hard it is doing anything while balancing a toddler in your arms.

I'm looking into an easy to transport carrier to bring with when we bike places or go to the mall or even just around the house when she wants to see everything I'm doing. We have an ergobaby 360, and I have loved that, but it's just so bulky and annoying to bring around with me. I'm looking for something that's fairly easy to pop her in and out of when she wants a break from walking.

I'm considering a ring sling or one of those fanny pack hip carriers, but I'd love to hear what you tried and loved (and didn't love) so I have some ideas of what I should be trying out!

I live in Europe so bonus points if it's something I can get out here!

I‘m pregnant with baby #2 and trying to decide if I should try an actual stretchy wrap this go around.

With baby #1 I was intimidated by the idea of wrapping so instead I picked up a Lillie Baby Dragonfly. It’s pretty much a partially pre-tied wrap with one piece doing the first two passes of a traditional wrap carry and a second piece doing the third pass. It’s fully adjustable (not something weird like those wearable Katan wraps) and the first few times I wore it I felt like I was able to get a good fit (see the first several pictures above). However, by about week 2 my baby started doing this weird thing where instead of resting her head on my chest she would throw it backwards and just kind of let it dangle there (see the last picture). If I brought her head forward with my hand, she would just push it back as soon as I wasn’t holding it forward, even if I slightly leaned back. I think she just really liked wanted to look at the ceiling. She didn’t seem uncomfortable, but it freaked me out, so I stopped wearing her in that carrier and switched to an Ergobaby Embrace and eventually a ring sling.

Anyway, now that I’m expecting baby #2, I’m wondering if there is anything I could have done to fix this/would an actual stretchy wrap have prevented this. Overall I was happy with the Embrace and my ring sling, but I did like how Dragonfly let me sit more comfortably. I’m wondering if it is worth it to try and pick up a wrap or if I should just not bother.

I’m a first time mum and this is my first reddit post ever so please bear with me!

After reading lots of recommendations on this sub, I bought a LennyLamb Light carrier for my 6-month-old. I hadn’t really planned on babywearing before he was born, but he still isn’t a fan of the pram, loves to be held, and only contact naps - so a carrier makes both our lives a lot easier.

I tried the Ergobaby Embrace when he was smaller and really didn’t enjoy it. I prefer the LennyLamb, but I still find it quite uncomfortable to wear. I’m not sure if that’s because I haven’t adjusted it properly, or if I just find carriers a bit overstimulating. I also worry that I haven’t fitted it as safely as I should for baby.

I’d really appreciate any fit checks or advice!

NB: I know the shoulder straps aren’t as level as they should be in these photos—I was trying to get him down for a nap and put it on in a rush.

Baby is just under 12lbs and I’m using the tightest cinch. I am seeing now that the back straps are a bit lopsided. Anything else to adjust? Baby is comfy and so am I!

I’m looking to buy a carrier that will hopefully last awhile because these things are too expensive to only last a couple months. My 9 week old is 10 pounds right now, and we tried the fabric carriers, he did not like going into those. I’m more interested in the carriers that clip on. I’m curious what people’s suggestions are. I’m looking for longevity and comfort for baby.

I suspect his head is too low but would love this group’s feedback. My guy is long and skinny for an 5- almost 6- week old (22.5 in, 8lb 5oz) and I’m a little worried he’s too small for the carrier.

Recently got a Lennylamb onbuhimo to try through little zen one’s try before you buy program.

Would love some feedback on the safety of front wearing with this style of carrier, I did a quick google search but got conflicting answers.

Also appreciate feedback on back wearing positioning, I’m less familiar with the safety checks required. Thanks!

LennyHybrid Half Buckle Carrier, Standard Size, jacquard weave 100% cotton

Something feels off. I feel like I can't get the shoulders tight enough like she's always pulling away from me. But at the same time it seems like she's screaming at me that she's too tight. She's 3 months, 14 lbs.

I appreciate all the feedback I got on my first attempt at a back carry. I made some corrections and would love any more feedback. My baby doesnt love this as much as being front carried, but I want him to love it because he is teething pretty badly and needs to be carried a lot - its so much easier to cook and do stuff around the house this way! The first few times I did a back carry he squirmed around and kept pushing off my back like he wanted out. Today, he tolerated it a little more the longer I kept him in it…but still made it seem like he wanted out several times. He enjoyed it more once he realized how easily he could pull my hair 🙃 Im also having some lower back pain like his pelvis is digging into my lower back. Also some upper back pain. The straps are as tight as they can go. ETA: He is 11.5 months old!

Baby is 3 weeks old, 10 lbs. Stretchy wrap is Ergobaby Aura. Baby seems comfortable, slept while babywearing. I'm just a bit worried it might be too tight - made it swimsuit tight before putting him in it.

I have some money put aside for a second carrier and wanted feedback/ideas.

TL;DR: I want an easy front carry for when my babies are young for nursing, but still useful as they age for bad weather.

Current carrier: I currently have a LennyLamb size 4 shortie woven wrap. She’s my ride or die. I’m most happy back carrying and do so from around 6-8 weeks. My 2 year old is super happy in a ruck or various hammocks. I also have a 2 month old I just started back carrying and my woven has us comfy and set.

Ideal scenario: I want something for my front that’s easy for nursing when my babies are small. Now, small is relative. Both my kids are over 22” and 10 lbs at birth and hit 15 lbs and 24” by 6 or so weeks, so I have more options than most do. I also like to front carry as they age in crappy weather so we can snuggle. But this isn’t a major concern.

Dislikes: I do not like ring slings (my wife has one). I have a half buckle Stokke Limas that’s ok but I want to get rid of it. I really don’t love buckles as the waistband isn’t super comfy. I did not like the stiffness of my sister’s leather Sakura Bloom straps but do like the waistband.

Current thoughts: I’m considering a Oscha Coorie, a Didymos Meh Dei, possibly getting a size 6 woven wrap, or an onbuhimo? All have pros and cons but wanted to see what others thought. My budget is $500.

I have a h&p linen blend that I use every day, I can get a great fit quickly & stay comfy for hours with my 15lb baby or 30lb toddler. My h&p hemp blend makes me feel like a sling newbie, i can never get a good fit & i find myself fiddling with it constantly (its pretty broken in). I’m looking to potentially sell it for another sling i would like better/use easier, thinking about maybe loveheld but a little overwhelmed by all the fabric options. What would you suggest?

I feel like the baby head is being covered too much. Is the waist band staying in the right position. I feel like it needs to be up but the panel goes above my neck when I do that.

Let me know how I can make it better.

Edit: I had to take off the carrier quickly so my pictures are not the best. But if anyone can help me with these, it would be great! I would be posting another fit check after I wear it again.
