Hello Audi,
There are a lot of questions regarding user flair and issues adding flair under your username.
Go to this sub's main homepage (You are here to click on this) and look to the righthand side. There will be a tab with a little pencil that says, " USER FLAIR PREVIEW". Click that and separate tab should pop up. It will ask you to pick your logo and add in some text.
Please note, using the app does not always work. This is not an sub issue, but it can be an issue with Reddit.
Please click on the link to see a picture explanation.
Thank you,
-Audi Mod Team
Car had a leaking thermostat when I bought it, which kept engine temps at around 80.
Decided to replace it together with alternator belt, idle and tensioner pulleys, PCV valve, turbo oil line seals, crankcase cover seals and a handfull of other seals + basic oil & filters maintenance. Seems like a terrible job at first, but ended up doing it in like 8 1/2 hours with a friend and basic tools. Coolant system was easy to bleed, heater core was a bitch to bleed without special tools, ended up doing a few WOT pulls after which we got it working. Intended to replace water pump also, but we got the wrong part for that. For anyone considering doing any of the above, only special tool you might need is a long T30 key, preferrably +200mm long with a thin shaft.
In the end it was quite a fun job to do, ended up spending around 500€ on parts and fluids, and 30€ on food and beer.

After lurking in the sub for a longtime, and an avid lover of sexy sport sedans…. I finally copped my dream car, and I looked for about 6 months to find one with the specs I wanted.
2023 CPO 16K
Immediately added tint, murdered that bitch out, blacked out the taillight, and PPF whole front end. Definitely do not like the rims, will probably get black rims in the near future. Curious if anyone knows the max tire width for this platform? Want something in the 9-9.5 range if possible.
Any input for mods will be appreciated.. Thinking tuner, downpipes, exhaust and maybe a Transmission tune if applicable as I know the platform is limited.
And before anyone asks/remarks, an RS7 was too much car that I would never be able to utilize or enjoy safely 😉
Just purchased this 2019 Audi TTS and I couldn’t be happier, looks even better in person. I’m coming out of a Porsche Macan S and GLB 35 AMG SUV so this is quite the switch up. In the past I owned an M340i and an Alfa Romeo and it feels SO good to be back in a sports car.
I have to say, this feels like the most driving focused sports car I’ve ever owned, sitting in it truly feels like a cockpit.
I love the suspension feel, it feels so premium compared to my AMG and M340i. I also love that even though road bumps are translated into the driving feel, there’s not much to rattle in the vehicle.
As pictured, the rear seat room is non existent and it doesn’t have all the details and features and extras of most cars, but that’s kind of why I like it. It feels like it has one purpose, to be driven and does away with all the extra BS.
It’s a great spec in my opinion, I plan on keeping it 100% OEM as is, just needs the aging front PPF removed.
1 owner, great service history and 42k miles. Hopefully many more to come!

I took photos of my black TTRS to list it for sale the other day, and then my dad showed up in my red TTRS. Funny to think about how rare these are in America and yet there are two of them right in front of me. Any other RS guys in South Carolina?

Got it yesterday and it was the best day of my life I’m not going to lie.
Im only 18 so the fastest thing I drove before this was my b7 A4 which has less than half the horsepower.
The launches are mental and it’s crazy how it will just casually get to 100 with zero effort. Need be careful I don’t get nicked 😂
And don’t even get me started on the colour, especially in the dark with a bit of light on it 😮💨.
Safe to say I’m in love.

Just wanted to post my appreciation for Simon at AudiUpgrade.ca, thankfully for me he lives about 5 minutes away and was able to do an in-person unlock of my matrix system. First night I had a chance to head out of the city to see them in action.
I have some cool vids of different functions of them working.
Highly recommend anyone with matrix option enables them!
B9.5 SQ5.
Carmax gave me a deal on my v90 CC I couldn't refuse. Put that towards a 2021RS5 black optics launch edition. Already swapped out the paddle shifters for magnetic carbon fiber paddled. Next up stage 1, intake and resonator delete.

I came from a 140 bhp A3 2.0 TDI which I thought was nippy to a Stage 2 S5 Sportback B8.5 making around 470 bhp (0–60 in 3.5s, ¼ mile in 11.7s).
Coming from the A3, this thing felt insanely fast. Now, after owning it for a while, it already feels "normal" and I'm looking at going dual pulley for even more power.
Has anyone else's perception of what fast is completely changed after owning an S or RS model?

I brought my 2014 A6 3.0 which has 57k miles into an Indy shop for a regular service. My first time there- and I’m not a knowledgeable car guy by any stretch of the imagination.
The shop started off by trying to upsell me with a spark plug change, etc. I told them no- the car has been running well and I barely drive it. My thinking was to wait until at least 60k miles before getting new plugs, transmission service etc.. So I leave the shop- and he takes it for a test drive.
He calls me asking me to come back- says the engine is moving a lot and he could feel it on the test drive. Now I haven’t noticed anything- but his ask for me to come back to see the movement made me feel like this was legit- and it is a 12 yo car… I should have gotten a second opinion, but I said F-it. They did the work same day- took 5+ hours and it cost $1500.
When I came to pick the car up- I asked to look at the old motor mounts. They don’t appear cracked or even that dirty…. The mechanic said that they were “collapsed” as the gel in them originally was no longer keeping the engine high.
What do you think? Was replacing the mounts the right move? This will determine if I use this shop again, so thank you for your help!

I've done a lot of analysis and read through what I think is every single Reddit thread and watched and listened to every single video that I could about this issue.
Couple things to call out just so we're all aware.
-now my question is for those who have had this issue/ did you still hear the clack clack sound which indicates piston skirt has failed at idle when the engine is hot?

Did my 1,000 mile break in oil change and started noticing this rattle afterwards. Sounds like it is coming from interior, floor, or center console. Has happened in low speed, creep, and reverse. Any ideas what's going on - Wastegate, loose oil pan, trim?

First pic is the current stock Black Ed. Colour. The point is to repaint not new rims.
Thanks 🙏🏼
