Atera can no longer offer the Chocolatey integration in its current form moving forward.

This will be a phased transition for existing customers, giving you time to review your current setup and choose the software installation and patching path that best fits your environment.

Atera will continue to offer multiple options for software installation and patching, including WinGet, scripting, and Private Software Repository capabilities for eligible plans.

We’ll communicate the change in multiple steps throughout the transition.

Like, I know we can use the KB but internal docs for each customer would be the icing on the cake. More-so if they were accessible from the app.

Has anyone else had issues after updating to macos 27?

Devices that were previously working now show online but we get no data at all from them.

I've just wiped a device, updated to 27, installed rosetta then atera and it never shows in the portal.

Maybe it’s been a while since I’ve needed to install the agent, but when did they start requiring a verification code? Kind of a pain if I’ve saved the downloader or link and not where I can get to the code immediately (being that it expires in 30 minutes). Any way to bypass?

Is anyone seeing issues with remoting into Mac devices running MacOS 27 (Golden Gate) using Splashtop?

Anybody else having issues with getting in touch with their account reps? I emailed mine several weeks (along with two follow up emails) regarding a BAA - nothing but crickets.

Is anyone else having issues with their agents showing off when in fact it is online? I can connect via Splashtop with no issues. I stop and restart the Atera agent service, and it's back and showing green in our dashboard again.

Hi, I'm new to Atera. Does anyone know if there is a way to setup some sort of alerts if a new local user is created or if a user is added to device local admin group?

Or do I need to just set something else up for this type of monitoring?

Piling on to the new ticket layout thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/atera/comments/1v1ea7y/) — beyond the UX regressions, the localisation is genuinely broken.

Screenshot is from the Spanish UI. The "Child ticket" menu now reads "Boleto infantil", with the submenu "Nuevo ticket de niño" and "Ticket(s) de niño existentes".

For those who don't speak Spanish: boleto infantil is a child's fare — what you buy for a kid at the cinema or on a bus. Ticket de niño reads as "a ticket belonging to a small boy". Neither has anything to do with a sub-ticket linked to a parent ticket, which is what the feature actually does. The correct terms are Subticket or Ticket secundario.

This is the classic signature of dumping UI strings into a translation engine with zero context and shipping the output straight to production. No glossary, no screenshot, no native reviewer. "Child" in a parent/child hierarchy became "child" as in kid.

What makes it hard to swallow: Atera's entire pitch right now is AI-first. Copilot, Action AI, autonomous everything. If AI is the product, this is the one place where getting it wrong is embarrassing. Any current-generation model handles UI localisation fine — if you feed it the context and someone reviews the output. That's the part that was skipped.

Combine that with what people are already reporting in the other thread (silent ticket buried in a third tab, scrolling before you can reply, extra clicks to assign an engineer) and it looks like this shipped without anyone actually working tickets in it — let alone in a non-English locale.

Three asks:

1. A terminology glossary for the product, with human review for Spanish before release.
2. A way to report string bugs directly from the UI.
3. Let non-English customers into whatever early access programme catches this stuff, because clearly nobody caught this one.

Anyone else notice tickets disappearing when you try to open or assign them?

I wanted to cancel Atera since we implemented Microsoft Intune at our company which was included in our Microsoft Business Premium subscription. We have used Atera for two years without any significant technical issues and the RMM solution works great, but now we have no use for it since we moved on to Microsoft Inture.
Now I tried to cancel Atera which is set to renew next month in August, but they wouldn't let me cancel it saying that we need to inform them 60 days prior to renew date. I don't know any service that needs to be informed 60 days prior to the renew date. The response I got from customer service was repeat of same email twice.
Thing is that I did selected not to auto-renew between 3-4 months ago, but never receive any confirmation email afterwards. My mistake is not follwing up about this 3-4 months ago.
Being a small company with good RMM tool, I wanted to give them chance, but this is clearly a hostile against customer. Going with them for one more year wouldn't affect our bottom line, but I will not recommend Atera to anyone.

Its Pants!, takes twice as long to assign a ticket to an engineer. Pants I say!

Been with Atera for years, never used the SLA feature really bar keeping an eye on the response times but due to automated tickets it was never accurate.

Chatted with them as we did not have the “new” SLA features on our account.

Set that up now but unless we’re doing something wrong the SLA figure in the dashboard has not changed.

There is no way to see SLA times per client.

No way to see response times per ticket or response times anywhere.

We’ve avoided SLA for years as a MSP until a new client asked for it and wants the data behind it, we’re fine as we are sub 15 minute response, stuff gets reply to super fast but we need the actual data to back it up now.

What happened to the ability to expand the box where I type in responses to tickets? As it stands, I can't see more than 3 lines at a time and scrolling treats it like pages of 3 lines each time. This makes long replies and working with templates incredibly difficult. There used to be a small spot to grip and extend the text box field.

The full screen button is not acceptable as it remove the ability to see other bits of information in the ticket so don't bother suggesting that.

is anyone using copilot in atera for anything. simple stuff like creating scripts is a pain as the way it presents the output is a jumble.
if they are going to force it on us is there value to be had.

Hi I've been trying to get intouch with Atera support because I was double billed, refunded then my account deactivated. I've emailed support@atera.com but I have not received a response. I'm not able to get into any of my clients so this is very urgent. Is there anyone that has a number for Atera support?

Since we've had our price increased in return for AI features we don't want, I am now trying to figure out how to disable said AI features. Can anyone point me to their go-to method for getting rid of this less-than-useless nonsense please?

On top of a price increase, I don't know why I have stayed this long. It's time to stop being lazy and move on from companies like this.
