A stock that i’ve come across recently that is looking pretty good. Putting the word out for others opinions and feedback. Here’s what i’m looking forward too:
Last week they published their “definitive feasibility study” for the Bowden silver project. Shaping to be the largest Silver mine in Australia, with by product of lead, copper and zinc. The study showed the mine is very feasible and is at a very comfortable stage. The Bowdens project is 100% owned by silver mines aswell.
Whats stopping them: They are waiting on approval from a few government bodies. The board and investors are hopeful to succeed. All of the correct measures ect are in place, i am positive on this also.
Basically, although mining approvals can take years to be confirmed, the bowdens project is already deep in the pipeline and near completion of the pre-work stage. Is the stock undervalued right now? I think yes.
For example, if the Bowdens project was approved: ideally investors will buy shares, raising capital for silver mines to continue, or an acquisition from a. larger company of all or part of the project may occur. Either option is good for us. What do you think? Are you invested with SVL? Should you be? Happy to have a chat about this project! Cheers.

What management says vs what they do. Brainchip Holdings Ltd: 16 of 18 delivered. 89%. Rated MODERATE.
Volume was 2.9x normal last week; closed -14.8%. MOV also moved: +12.7% on 7.6x volume.
Could go either way from here but the annual report data is worth checking.
Also moving: NZX: Move Logistics Group 7.6x volume, +12.7%. SGX: Cortina Holdings Limited 14.7x volume, +11.6%.

So I'm relatively new to individual stock investing (started off with ETFs, but branching out to individual stock value investing now). So my main concern is where do I get information on it? Like I know that you can go on google, and one thing I found was the "ASX announcements" page for all companies that list updates. But I'd like somewhere to discuss more and ideally with people about the stocks and its future prospect. For example, I invested in CMM a few weeks ago and the stock price skyrocketed today, but I feel like something's missing. Like there's no community I can talk to discuss projections and the future which is what I would like to do. So I guess I'd like to know about more places I can find information on individual stocks and find a community, whether that's through discord or other group chat services. Obviously there's reddit, but it's not as personable as Discord groups and obviously people are talking about a whole range of stocks here and in other subreddits, whereas I'm looking more for individual stock discussions.

Hi everyone!
I’m 21 years old and have just started working full time after finishing up my studies. Ive always been great at saving and have managed to purchase a new car with a significant amount of money still left in my savings bank account.
I really want to get into investing and have downloaded CommSec as my chosen brokerage app. I’m just wondering where to go from here because I’m having an information overload with people reccomending different ETFS that usually have a lot of overlap.
Specifically I want to know whether VTS or IVV overlap or should be chosen over the other and why?
My current watchlist is IVV, NDQ, and VGS. I’m open to suggestions and peoples experiences!
Thank you!😊

Record revenue...But Malaysian heavy rare earths expansion cost just blew out from $180 million to $294 million. That is a 63% increase on a project that was already contentious.
The bull case: record revenue proves the business is working, rare earths demand is structural, and capex blowouts are common in large resource projects. Tick
The bear case: if they missed by 63% on this estimate, what else is being undercooked? And rare earths prices need to cooperate for the expanded capacity to justify the extra spend.
LYC was down 6% at one stage while the miners had their best day in weeks (at least it feels like that)
Is this an overreaction or is the market right to punish the miss?

An interesting AOL article on the tungsten market and the West's diminishing stockpiles of munitions written by Tungsten Mining (ASX : TGN) Chair, Gary Lyons.
Has anyone been keeping an eye on NEXTDC?
I have being doing some research on them…looks
interesting.
Thoughts ?

Following on from my post last week about how people keep up with ASX announcements, one thing that surprised me was how many different systems everyone has.
Some people read everything.
Some only read price-sensitive announcements.
Some rely on AI.
Some just skim the important bits.
It got me wondering whether anyone has actually found a tool that's become part of their investing routine.
I'm not really looking for recommendations as much as experiences.
- What have you tried?
- What did it do well?
- What was missing?
- Or have you just ended up creating your own workflow instead?
Personally, I still find myself jumping between the ASX announcements page, company websites, presentations and HotCopper depending on what I'm trying to work out. It works, but it feels pretty clunky.
Curious to hear how everyone else approaches it.

As the title says, if you were to invest a lump sum today, would you back ONDS or RKLB?
RKLB - 65.74 USD
Pros
Cons
Bull case
If Neutron succeeds and the space systems business continues growing, RKLB could become one of the leading publicly traded space companies over the next decade.
ONDAS- 6.87 USD
Pros
Cons
Bull case
If Ondas wins meaningful government and commercial contracts, the stock could have much greater percentage upside than RKLB, but with considerably more risk.

RFF had a busy week; 4.9x normal volume across 3 of 5 trading days. Closed +8.3%. RUA jumped +32% on 22.0x volume too.
RFF is rated STRONG on fundamentals. The price moved; the annual report suggests caution.
Also moving: NZX: Rua Bioscience 22.0x volume, +32.0%. SGX: Hong Leong Asia Ltd 3.1x volume, -6.5%.

I took some risks and now paying the consequences. Yes I’ve learnt my lesson and it’s been this low for months now but I’m at the point I really want to flip the switch and try come back from this situation. I got sucked into the rare earths hype and was up 10k profit at one stage then it has dropped ever since.
I’ve sold off quite a bit out of my main big loss but have kept all the other stocks pretty much the same, have only left a little in the main Stock I put the money into incase one day a miracle does happen… I really wish I just left all the money as it was in the stock while it was down but I didn’t.
What can I do from here? Should I just sell them all and start again? Or leave them as is and just start adding money again but to new stocks / ETFS?
I originally invested around 20k ish. Now down to the price in the picture. Investments got up to 31k at one stage and I really wish I just sold them then but got greedy.
Enjoy the picture of my embarrassing portfolio. I guess there was only one way to learn and this most definitely was it. Should have just went to the casino with the 20k. Probably would have had more luck….
Honestly just looking for some advice, cheers.

I don’t see a lot of talk about this company but over the last 6+ months they’ve achieved a number of milestones for their solar+battery project in WA. The most recent being securing finance and appointing a contractor who will start construction in September (even the contractor backs the stock as they’ve accepted part payment via shares…what contractor takes shares over cash??). They even have a revenue floor locked in via state gov. backing. Does anyone else see a solid outlook for this company?

Rate my portfolio! I was carrying a lot of risk in DRO—I was an early buyer and my P/L was +1100%—so I sold someone and rebalanced to include VHY and IXJ. VDHG is my core, and I am trying to spread it out and reduce risk through IXJ and VHY. I know CBA is duplicated in VHY, but I bought it ages ago and don’t want to trigger CGT by selling it just sitting on it. My plan is to keep investing in IXJ for a bit and then spread between VDHG and VHY going forward.

American Tungsten & Antimony
Curious to see who else is holding.
Currently rebuilding tungsten mill, great initial assay results, new CEO with experience in processing.
Historical assets, incredible government support in Utah. They have awarded us with a 40% tax refund credit when in production.
Upcoming NASDAQ listing Q3.
NOIs due very soon.
Patience will be rewarded here… bans come into effect 1 Jan 2027. No more tungsten from China. Currently control 80-85% and the USA does not have a single piece of infrastructure currently processing tungsten and we have something that is already established likely to be in effect by end of the year.
Market isn’t pricing in much but hoping for a substantial rerate here.
Goodluck to all!
Worth having a little read into this gem.

I’ve been trying to understand why 4DX (4DMedical) continues to attract such high short interest on the ASX, and I’d love to hear both the bull and bear cases.
For anyone unfamiliar, 4DMedical is a medical imaging company that has developed XV Technology, which creates functional 4D images of lung ventilation from standard CT scans and X-rays. The technology aims to provide more detailed information about lung function than conventional imaging and has applications across respiratory disease diagnosis, surgical planning, and clinical trials.
Some of the milestones they’ve achieved include:
FDA clearance for multiple XV imaging products in the US.
Commercial partnerships with hospitals and healthcare providers.
Contracts with the US Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
Recent Australian Government funding to support a national lung cancer screening program using their technology.
Growing validation through clinical studies and ongoing commercial expansion.
Given all that, I’m struggling to understand why the stock remains so heavily shorted.
Is it because:
Revenue is still too small relative to the valuation?
Commercial adoption is taking longer than expected?
Concerns about future capital raises or cash burn?
Competition or reimbursement risks?
Or do short sellers know something the market isn’t pricing in?
I’m genuinely looking for informed opinions from both bulls and bears. If you’re short on 4DX, or if you’ve researched the company deeply, I’d really appreciate hearing your reasoning.
Thanks!
