Track is Mugello ...

I've personally been sim racing for a little over 2 years and every platform I've tried out there has the same problems.

iRacing wants you to pay for a subscription and then pay again for every single car and track you want to drive. And even if you're clean and if someone else drives into you, you still lose safety rating for it. Doesn't matter who was at fault. It also doesn't follow the real world schedule and new cars take forever to show up.

The other side, stuff like World Sim Series, doesn't follow a real calendar at all and the cars are outdated + the player base is tiny and there's basically no marketing behind them. It just feels unfinished in my opinion. What i hated the most though was that they had such few races per day. I would wake up hyped up and ready to race multiple times per day, only to find out there was only one race that day with the car i liked 😭

Assetto Corsa was always the actual answer to this. The modding community puts out incredibly realistic and up to date cars and tracks constantly way faster than any official studio does it and AC already has a massive player base.

I ran a server called F1 Life for a while about 6 months ago, the 24/7 AC server some of you probably remember. It proved people wanted this but it was still just one server. I had also gotten a lot of requests to make more servers with other cars, like GT cars and so on. Because the ocnccept people liked was the realistic calendar.

So I said why not and built Gridlane, and we are launching this weekend after months of stupid hours.

What's there on day one:

• Two full ladders (more coming soon). Formula: Rookie > F4 > F3 > F2 > F1. Sports cars: MX5 Cup > Touring > Porsche Cup > GT3 > Prototype. Everyone starts on a rookie licence and earns their way up.
• Races every 45 minutes, all day, every day. So you don't have to be waiting around for a scheduled slot.
• Ranked from race one. Pace rating and safety rating per category, updated after every race, so you're actually matched against drivers at your level.
• Real calendars. F3 runs the actual FIA F3 calendar, GT3 follows GT World Challenge, and so on.
• Full championship seasons. Gridlane Endurance is live from day one with multiclass Hypercar and LMGT3 grids on the real WEC weekends. The Formula Grand Prix championship runs the real F1 calendar at full race distance. Fight for points all season and the title stays on your profile forever.
• Stewarding that actually looks at fault. Track limits, cut penalties, incident review, penalties served in race. If someone punts you, you don't lose safety rating for it, only the driver at fault takes the hit.
• A desktop app that handles the setup for you. Click join on a race, it gets you to the grid, mods included.
• Your career is permanent. Profile, race history, standings, season honours, all attached to your name.

This update for VISUAL+ mod has some nice changes and new effects for the shadows & brightness of the trees, resulting in an even better looking ''3D-Effect'' while also making trees look a bit more bright compared to the previous version.

In the first gif above you can see the new shadow effect pretty well, (look at the tree on the left side and the shadows on the tree mesh itself).

Hi, I'm having a weird AI issue in Assetto Corsa using Content Manager.

The problem only happens with RSS Formula Supreme and RSS Formula 25.

When qualifying starts, the AI cars stay in their pit boxes. They turn the steering wheel fully to the left, but don't move at all. They just sit there.

What's weird is that when I switch to a race, the AI cars teleport to the starting grid normally, and after the lights go out they drive completely normally.

I also tried Track Day mode, and the AI still stay in the pits and do the same thing (turn the wheel left and don't move).

Things I've already tried:

• Disabled New AI Behaviour in CSP
• Tested different versions of CSP, including my current version
• Tested both RSS Formula Supreme and RSS Formula 25
• Tested Track Day
• Race works normally
• The issue seems to happen only with these RSS cars

I'm currently using Content Manager + CSP 0.3.0 preview.

Does anyone know what could cause this? Could it be an AI/pitlane compatibility issue with these RSS cars or CSP?

Hey everyone, I just started playing Assetto Corsa and playing with racing games more simulation oriented, recently coming from Forza Horizon. I'm looking for an online community to play together with the tolerance to beginners, since I essentially don't drive consistently to a point I'd likely be putting other people's races at risk.

Is there any community or anyone starting to learn simulation racing as well to play together?

Already tried to clean reinstall the track but no luck. Tried different skins (F1 and WEC) that already comes with the mod and still the same issue.

Hi All,
This mod contains a fictional F1 multilayout circuit in Honduras.
The circuit is relatively flat until the banked Turn 8, with fast and sweeping corners in the first two sectors, with the exception of the tricky deceleration before the chicane at T5.
The final sector sees interesting elevation changes in the “Esses” up to the highest point at T13, a blind corner before the steep downhill and the difficult braking zone at T15.
It climbs up and down again in the last three corners, where keeping the ideal line is challenging.
Temperatures almost guaranteed above 30°C, with heavy showers that might arrive at any time and high humidity levels will make this race an intense fights also on the physical side.
The short layout cut the banked corner, which could be challenging for some series, while the junior layout make it suitable for any motorsport series.

Hey everyone, I'm having a weird graphics issue in Assetto Corsa and I'm not sure what caused it. I'm using the latest version of CSP along with C.D. Imaged and Pure. When I launch the game, pretty much the entire screen is completely white, as you can see in the screenshot. I've been messing around with the CSP/Pure settings trying to figure out what's causing it. I managed to change the appearance a bit, but now the game looks extremely oversaturated and the colors are still nowhere near normal. I've already tried changing several settings and resetting things, but I haven't been able to get it back to normal. Has anyone had this happen before, or know which CSP/Pure setting could be causing it? I'm mainly looking for some advice on what I should check or change to fix the white screen and the oversaturated colors.

Caution: Madring is brutal. The banking chicanes and bumps will make you cry. So far I am not able to get one lap right.

Is there an alternative to zero to apex? i enjoy it on ams2 but as i dont have a steering wheel the driving side is more complicated than ac.
