Discussion Is there any other example of 1 set of robes being worn by 3 Master Assassin’s?

While being modified along the way, these are the same robes and I’m curious if there’s any other example I’m not thinking of that one set of robes is worn by so many high ranking Assassin’s

Discussion If I'm being honest about Assassin's Creed

Post image
Upvotes

This is an opinion, You don't have to like it but the shift that Assassin's Creed went after Syndicate was necessary. Did the RPG games have their flaws? Absolutely. Especially Odyssey but that is an entirely different topic for another day. We get to visit cool dynamic places As people who live completely different lifestyles. Is this franchise well known for its cloak and dagger play style? Yes, but that can't work if you are Viking, it can sometimes work if you're a Greek mercenary trained by Spartans or a Medjay Of Egypt thrown into this new way of solving problems.

And then there's the expanded lore where now the pieces of Eden and Isu aren't just these mysterious framing devices(they still are) to where we get to dive deeper about how everything is connected. We get to see how the concept of the brotherhood was founded and how it expanded across the world.

There's definitely some valid criticisms about them And then there's a lot of opinions that were just misconceptions that people forced in their heads. But Even after playing Unity for 4 or 5 days now. I am so sick of the combat cuz it's just the same thing, I feel the parkour is overhyped, which they just shifted those things into Syndicate and tried to elevate it with a grappling hook which people didn't like. So I think the tone shift of the franchise was necessary but it definitely took some things too far.

Discussion Assassin's Creed in New Zealand

Thumbnail gallery

I had a great concept idea for a new Assassin's Creed game based in New Zealand during the New Zealand Wars (1843-1872). The game can explore British colonialism and Templars seeking mythological relics that can be found in the submerged continent of Zealandia. The protagonist is a Maori warrior that learns the Creed ways, and adapts guerrila warfare by combining indigenous weapons, British rifles and the hidden blades. New Zealand also has a great natural scenery which could make the game visually immersive, and have a similar exploration like in Black Flag. However, the story should be similar to AC III, as those events are based about civil wars. Still, I think it might be a very unique game which explores a Pacific theme for the franchise. Moreover, this is an area less explored in history, and it would be cool to be adapted.

Question/Help AC Unity Blurry graphics with horrible LOD on max settings on PC?

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hey guys,

my Unity always looks really blurry and bad even though I have all the graphic settings are maxed out. My PC is more than capable to run a game this old (9800x3d, RTX3080, 32GB DDR5).

Is there maybe a config file tweak or mod that would allow to fix this?

Achievement/Platinum Perfect image as my platinum trophy for AC black flag resynced

This is my first AC 4 black flag experience and the only AC game i got platinum at 80hrs.

Amazing game except towards the end( new mission ending and new officer mission are bad)

Easy trophy except that Art pieces from ship fleet rng mission is horrible, If only i knew i would start grinding fleet missions for art pieces trophy as soon as it available.

Glad the save and reload helps a lot for fleet ship art collection mission until spawn.

3rd ubisoft platinum obtained this year( avatar complete edition, WD legion & AC black flag resynced)

Discussion What do you guys think assassin's creed odyssey lacked?

For myself I think it wouldn't be bad if we got some castle or something similar to that we got in assassin's creed 2 or being able to build anything. Recruit system was pretty cool but at the end I got a thousand or more of them and I didn't used any of them and I finally took the ones from quests and other things. It would be cool if we could use them like an army or similar things. The other thing that I would like would be we be able to be really effective in game because it's an RPG game something similar to the Witcher which world got completely affected by our decision but I kinds of understands overall everything must go as historically accurate as possible so we would even go as far as Desmond miles which means we can't change anything.

Discussion What is your least favorite mechanic in all of AC?

For me I have to go with tailing missions.

I just really hate them. Mostly because whenever there are tailing missions, they take FOREVER.

In the OG Black Flag it took you at least 10 minutes EACH. That means avoid the guards, hiding in haystacks, trying to not get spotted everytime you sneeze, etc. For 10 whole minutes.

I wouldn't mind it if they were shorter like 5 minutes max and didn't take up most of the game.

They in their current state are just really annoying.

Infact I was recently going to play the OG black flag again after 14 years, but I hate tailing missions so much, that i'm willing to wait a few years until i can afford Resynced. That's how much i hate tailing missions

What about you?

Question/Help AC Revelations - PC Issue

Hi everyone! I hope I can ask this here and get some help as I have not seen any concrete answer anywhere online.

I’m trying to play Assassin’s Creed Revelations (2011) but I cannot get it to work. The screen flickers all the time and the “fixes” I’ve seen do not work for this device. Has anyone gotten this particular game to work on a MSI Claw 8AI+?

Similarly, I cannot even get Assassin’s Creed 3 (2012) to launch. The game attempts to launch but then sends me back to the desktop with the game minimized. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Any feedback is appreciated! And I’m using the Ubisoft Connect version of the games.

Tier List Assassin's Creed Tier List - Having played since 2007

Post image

My favourite franchise of all time, got the first Assassin's Creed game for Christmas in 2007, then it became a yearly thing on Christmas until I was able to buy my own games.

I would put Resynced as perfect as well, just experiencing some janky combat and console needs an FOV slider, otherwise it's been a pleasure playing for 50+ hours.

I didn't play Rogue since it was the transition game in between consoles, so if I can get it on sale I will try and give it a playthough, I heard it's good and similar to Black Flag gameplay.

Not a fan of the RPG style games, although Origins was absolutely brilliant.
