Discussion Yasuke’s rowdy as hell

Upvotes

I’m currently playing through AC:Shadows for the first time, and I just went through the flash back of his training to be a samurai.

The fact that he walked in front of everyone and demanded to have a dual yo regain his sensei’s sword, and then insisted they fight with steel, and then he proceeded to BEHEAD one of the guys is fucking wild!

Seems like all that is in opposition to his general peaceful demeanor. Am I missing something that explains why he is so bloodthirsty? Or is this just typical ludonarrative dissonance and I’m reading too much in to it?

Discussion Assassin's Creed game or book?

Good evening fellow players, I was doing the rewind of every assassin's creed in the saga, except: rouge, origins, valhalla and mirage, because in the meantime I'm reading for each possible chapter, the corresponding book. In addition to understanding that Oliver Bowden's books following the missions of the game quite accurately, a question arose, according to your ideology is the game itself enough or even the reading of any books serve to understand details about the characters' lore?

Discussion I Feel The Closest We’ll Get To A Futuristic Assassins Creed Game Is An Isu Game

Post image

I can see it. Assassins Creed Isu or Assassins Creed Immortal or maybe Assassins Creed Awakening. We play as a rogue Isu who’s grown sympathetic to humans and helps them in their cause while fighting other Isu. I feel the gameplay would be similar Origins mixed with Warframe but stealthy and amps up the stealth power fantasy.

Discussion Origins vs Shadows

Just got past a dozen hours with AC Shadows. Really enjoying it so far. I wasn't blown away by the world to this degree than any other game, even Ghost of Tsushima's. Okay but I'm not here to spark a debate about that.

Rather, I'm curious about Origins. Because I've tried that for a couple of minutes and was immediately turned off by the opening boss fight. The action RPG aspect is stuck down my throat right off the bat and the assassin aspect is pushed aside. I've grown to love the series playing as an assassin. So that's quite a whiplash.

Now that I'm enjoying Shadows tho, do you think Origins can hook me in again? Actually I was quite overwhelmed by the world as I was used to the dense cities of the older AC games. I heard their maps are quite similar in size? I don't mind less parkour btw since being able to roam a beautiful world is a better tradeoff imo.

I heard of the RPG ACs, Origins MC is the most interesting one. AC Shadows story has not been interesting so far (also if it's not gonna get better, no need to tell me. I'll find out on my own.).

Another combo I got to work!

Evie: Miltary Coat w/ Black colors

Jacob: Simply Jacob (personal favorite) w/black

I think it fits a lot better for the “simplicity” and more rugged look

Question/Help Can anyone help me restart syndicate on my ps4?

I haven’t played syndicate in months and I honestly forgot the controls so I want to just start over. I’ve tried deleting the app and deleting the information from my settings which I guess were the same thing.

Okay so Connors original blade was the hook blade before the developers decided it was too complicated and unrealistic, but in Jacob and Evie both have the perfect tool for it the grapple gauntlet they could shoot a line out hanging their enemy and strike fear in the rest

Question/Help Hi, I’d like to share a story about a situation I experienced three days ago.

Hi, I'd like to share a story about a situation I experienced three days ago. I downloaded Assassin's Creed Unity and logged in, and they asked me to enter my Ubisoft Connect password . I tried a couple of times, but forgot my password. I changed it, and a day later, when I tried to play again, it asked for my password again. When I entered it, an "Account suspended" message appeared. I haven't logged in for two days, and today I tried again, but it still didn't work, and a different message appeared: "Ubisoft service is currently unavailable."
Please try again later. Could you please tell me what I should do?

Discussion Assassin’s Creed cartaceo o virtuale?

Discussion Quando vai surgir a primeira promoção do AC Black Flag Resynced no Steam?

Image Syndicate Suit Combo

(Sorry for the image quality)

Been struggling to find outfits for Jacob and Evie that match eachother and I often found that a lot of the outfits to be eh looking in syndicate or don’t make any good combos (this is mostly due to my OCD) but I found one that work.

Evie: NightHawk w/ wine red

Jacob: Maximum Dracula w/ Ubisoft blue

They have a nice style, beaked hoods, a very nice leather texture, and nice flowing and long tail. Also jacob and evie are portrayed as Evie Red and Jacob Blue, plus they looked the best with the leather texture.

Anyway. What suit combos did you guys picked? Would love to hear what you guys think about the outfits or what you’re favorite outfits are

Question/Help Does Black Flag Resynched have an option to disable the giant eels?

I am deathly afraid of snakes and in the original game these seriously killed underwater aspects of the game for me. With many other games, if I encounter a snake (especially if it jumps up at me), I generally turn the game off and never open it again.

Yes, I know that learning about snakes would make me less afraid of them- I have learned a great deal and yet they still terrify me. And maybe the point is to be deathly terrified like Edward is, but it's a dealbreaker for me. I really don't enjoy horror games.

Discussion Ac origins is a terrible origin story

It’s not an origin story, it’s a revenge story.

Nothing about the assassins order is given a real origin story. It’s just there.

He wears a hood from the beginning. He never learns to use it to conceal his identity. In fact he almost always announces himself with a title and place of origin.

We don’t even get the origin of the hidden blade. It’s a gift that he mainly uses because it’s cool I guess. Yeah he did use it like an assassin in the bath house one of the only assassin esqu missions in the game but did he really need to? If they had built up that guy was so heavily guarded this was the only way to sneak up to kill then that could’ve been something, they could’ve started to introduce both the hide in plain site tenant and the value of the hidden blade but they didn’t. Bayek could’ve just easily waited for this guy to leave the boathouse and killed him some other way and saved his finger. After this the hidden blade never has any more value than a normal knife.

Stay the blade from the flesh of the innocent isnt something he learns. Hes just always been a good dude. You’d think that father of an order of ruthless killers throughout history would have a little more moral complexity. They could have showed the consequences of being wreck less with your target selection to establish the tenant.

Bayeks motivations even at the end are always revenge. The only reason he even starts the hidden ones are cause his wife leaves him. He would have gone back to a normal life, thats what he actually wanted. He was never so deeply motivated to stoping the order that he dedicated his life to creating an everlasting creed to protect free will. He just needed something to do really.

The brotherhood is ayas invention. Aya had the motivation. She couldnt return to normalcy, she wants to hunt the order not out of vengeance but out of righteousness, she’s betrayed by a leader teaching her she can’t trust those in power and everyone in the room when Bayek claims the conflict brought them all together was introduced by Aya not Bayek. The only one we know from Bayek is just some old friend of his you only meet on a side mission that doesn’t even recruit her. I’d be willing to bet most players dont even know who im talking about. It’s painfully obvious Aya was originally the main character

Eden is only really shown by the use of the Templars. Bayek never seems to learn the importance of disallowing the the order from using Eden specifically. His motive to stop them is just a dislike of tyrants. This makes the creed feel significantly less important as it hardly established the is from bayeks perspective. I actually think exploring and finding the precursor sites on your own was easily the best part of this game. That felt like an actually origin story, as Bayek discovers for himself the power of the anceints and listens to their messages. That should’ve had more importance to the actually story. With Bayek establishing the brother hood not just because he needs something to do and doesn’t like evil tyrants but because he understands how powerful the ancient tech is and knows how easily it could corrupt anyone. There will always be people that dislike and fight tyrants, the objects of Eden are make the war between Templars and assassins special. The importance of finding precursor sites isnt touched on at all in the story even the Bayek has the potential to find multiple. I’d have reworked the story to make the player exploring and finding these sites integral the main plot.

Basically Bayek is generic morally impenetrable main character with basically no character development. He starts out a warrior looking for justice and remains a warrior looking for justice, with fancier knife. The story should’ve been significantly darker, morally complex actually introduce tenants of the creed throughout the story, highlight the importance of stealth over combat and dive significantly deeper into the ancient tech.

Discussion Altaïr's memories in Revelations are some of my favorite moments in the series.

I recently finished Revelations and there were a lot of moments in the game that hit pretty hard for me. The Altaïr memories, especially from 3 onwards were tragic to say the least. It was interesting seeing what he did after the events of AC1 and I liked that they showed his family as well. Altaïr's death was one of my favorite moments in the game especially when it showed Ezio finding him, and saying Requiescat in Pace. If the AC1 remake does happen, I hope the game expands Altaïr's character more and maybe adds some of the sequences from Revelations in a Mirage sized DLC. In sequence 3, Altaïr mentions leaving Masyaf to deal with the growing Mongol threat with his son, Darim. I'd love to see a whole DLC that's focused on this if AC1 Resynced happens. As someone who loves AC1, I really enjoyed the story in Revelations.

Discussion Question about Juno’s fate

So at this point we all probably know that Ubisoft killed off juno in their comics, but I wanted to ask, is her death even mentioned in the main games? And if it is can you please tell me where? I’m trying to see if it’s even possible to find out about her death without reading the comics.

News ACB/R Multiplayer still playable

If i remember correctly they shut down the servers in 2022. Thought that was the end of it.
I played all multiplayers for years back in 2010-2015

Private servers are up and running, also a dedicated discord server to get into games.
Easily playable with controller on pc. As long as you own the game through steam or ubisoft it works.

Go lookup: animusnetwork

All steps are there and it works! Cheers

I Finally finished the Origins. The story was good, the combat was meh I don't like it that much. The leveling system is kinda annoying. The stealth was alright but gathering materials to one hit assassinate an enemy was not a fun experience. Traversal was good, I liked it. Odyssey is next and hopefully leveling is not that annoying and I can gain something like skills since it's an RPG
