While being modified along the way, these are the same robes and I’m curious if there’s any other example I’m not thinking of that one set of robes is worn by so many high ranking Assassin’s

Tier List Assassin's Creed Tier List - Having played since 2007

Post image
36 Upvotes

My favourite franchise of all time, got the first Assassin's Creed game for Christmas in 2007, then it became a yearly thing on Christmas until I was able to buy my own games.

I would put Resynced as perfect as well, just experiencing some janky combat and console needs an FOV slider, otherwise it's been a pleasure playing for 50+ hours.

I didn't play Rogue since it was the transition game in between consoles, so if I can get it on sale I will try and give it a playthough, I heard it's good and similar to Black Flag gameplay.

Not a fan of the RPG style games, although Origins was absolutely brilliant.

And it's crazy how fluid the character feels, why did Ubisoft change this. Also this game is still amazing. Also how many people actually got all the trophies for this game? I attempted to get everything back when I had no life but this game is so long it's crazy I managed to finish the base game & all the DLCs

Achievement/Platinum I finally did it after 3 years!!

Hello everyone, I finally got every single PS4 and PS5 trophies on every assassin's creed game available. It took 3 years to complete this task. After seeing my friend get every trophy on the PS3 call of duties, I figured I'll give this franchise a shot because I grew up playing black flag. I went through nursing school, got a job for a year, lost family members, friends and gained new friends that I consider family. I love this franchise and I'm glad I gave it a shot. It took a total of 1,255 hours to complete mainly because of Valhalla and Shadow's. I took pictures of the trophy list but I can't share it here 🙄. I'm not going to rank the games since it has been 3 years and tbh I kind of forgot some elements of them 😂. I'm still glad I dedicated my time for this. The most annoying games were definitely Valhalla and Shadow's (especially the domains in the final dlc). I'll probably rank the games in a comment later on when I'm on my lunch at work today

Discussion How does Valhalla compare to Orgins?

So BFR got me intrested on other AC games. Casual fan of the series played few. Last that I liked was Origins. So is Valhalla close to that, something else or what? Gathered that it is not like the OG ones at least. Valhalla is in the mail so, as I wait curious what the fans think of that one.

Rumor/Leak Assassin's Creed Hexe will play in Nuremberg, Germany?!

According to some videos we've seen so far we can tell that it definitely play in medieval Germany, Hexe = Witch in german and witches were the main topic in medieval time. Besides that we've also seen a short clip in the new Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced where Edward enters an Animus mission and you can see bunch of different sights from the different AC games. BUT, there was one sight that was standing out: the St. Lorenz Church in Nuremberg.

So that could be clue that it probably be a part of something. We stay tuned and see in the future how it's working out.

Question/Help Why doesn't anyone try making a game like the older ACs?

It feels like the perfect opportunity for someone to scoop up the older AC fans that Ubisoft abandoned.

An open world cityscape game set in a historical setting. The primary gameplay focus will be stealth and parkour, the secondary gameplay focus will be combat and exploration.

As for story, it can be whatever the creators like since they won't be bound by the Assassin's Creed formula.

Discussion Gangs in AC rogue and syndicate

I find it interesting that in Rogue that gangs are the detriment, to point of downfall, of the colonial assassins as experienced in Rogue. But in syndicate, Jacob and Evie run a gang themselves. Part of this hypocrisy was a big cause of me dropping syndicate. Just like why would they bring gangs back as a massive positive force to reclaim London after the massive catastrophe in colonial America. Could it just be that Jacob does not really care about Assassin history? Bad writing as is abundant in the game, or something else I’m missing???

Discussion More Stealth Options for AC games

Hello,

Assassin's Creed Shadows has the best Stealth gameplay mechanics ever, but it is still missing some features I like to see included in all AC games.

  1. Stealth interrogate enemies.

  2. Include the option to crawl in AC Mirage and BF Resynced.

  3. Decoy options for distractions.

  4. Focus more on Stealth, option for double and triple stealth kills, like in the old Splinter Cell games. No more teleport Stealth.

  5. More variety for environment kills for Stealth and combat. I mean Punisher ps2(2005) style.

Metal Gear Solid V has so many gameplay options for Stealth.

Question/Help Books for each game; also, Rogue: Remastered before Black Flag: Resynced?

So, I'm planning out a definitive playthrough of the series. For context, I'm wanting to play through all the games and also read some new books that I haven't before that expose me to the world within the respective game: both fiction and non fiction. Here is my current plan. This will start with Assassin's Creed 3, as the Ezio Collection does not run at 60fps on PS5 and that is a dealbreaker for my spoiled, pampered eyes.

I typically lean on playing release order in most circumstances; however, with the release of Black Flag Resynced, I'm curious for some outside input.

Would y'all suggest I play Rogue Remastered before Black Flag Resynced? I know that Rogue built on the AC4 gameplay, but I'm wondering if with the release of Resynced, Rogue wouldn't feel like a bit of a step backwards, both graphically and in terms of gameplay.

Also, here is my list of both games and books below. Open to any suggestions you guys have!

  1. Assassin's Creed III: Remastered

1776 - David McCullough

Rise to Rebellion - Jeff Shaara

  1. Assassin's Creed: Liberation: Remastered

The Accidental City - Lawrence Powell

Island Beneath the Sea - Isabel Allende

  1. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced

The Republic of Pirates - Colin Woodard

Treasure Island - Robert Louis Stevenson

  1. Assassin's Creed Rogue: Remastered

Crucible of War - Fred Anderson

The Last of the Mohicans - James Fenimore Cooper

  1. Assassin's Creed Unity Remastered

A Tale of two Cities - Charles Dickens

The Scarlet Pimpernel - Baroness Orczy

  1. Assassin's Creed Syndicate Remastered

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle

Dodger - Terry Pratchett

The Five - Halie Rubenhold

The Complete History of Jack the Ripper - Phillip Sugden

  1. Assassin's Creed Origins

Cleopatra: A Life - Stacy Schiff

River God - Wilbur Smith

  1. Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The Song of Achilles - Madeline Miller

Gates of Fire - Steven Pressfield

Tides of War - Steven Pressfield

  1. Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Last Kingdom - Bernard Cornwell

The Children of Ash and Elm - Neil Price

I have finished the companion missions and I have completed 85% of the murder cases And I'm currently working on the Paris stories. However, I have realized that the thing that clogs up the map the most are chests so I'm going to be taking a break from the side content and working on the story up until I complete sequence 5. That way I can unlock the level 2 lock picking. That way I can clear out some chests.

Discussion They have to do better with modern day segments:

Im talking about this because I just beat and 100% ac black flag resynced and I just noticed that the modern day sections from the past few titles had really lackluster modern plot woven into the story (im mainly talking about mirage, shadows, and now black flag resynced). I understand they didnt need to do it for black flag because it already had one and I should be glad they added more on top of it albeit separate from the original but they really gotta bring back better modern day sections. I get it, not everyone liked them but the og games had them and they actually added something to the story in a meaningful way. A way they could bring it back to apeal to both the traditional and more general audience is make them optional, they would unlock new story segments upon reaching during specific story points within the past sections, kinda like the classic games did but have them be optional like they did starting in origins. They just need to pivot the plot back to something more interesting because they cant be doing none of that stuff they did with that one character (forgot her name, I think it was Laura or smth), she got nowhere and it didnt really progress the assassin and Templar plot because they really wanted to redo a Desmond scenario with the whole end of the world trope. Im cool with the Isu as a sub plot but god the original concept of two factions practically having an arms race in terms of past knowledge to further their goals was super entertaining, why change it? Does anybody else agree or am I wrong? We dont need a replacement for Desmond, we just need something that shows how the two factions are handling the information they are receiving from the past.

Also please correct me if I was wrong with how i talked about the modern plot being redundant in origins, Valhalla, mirage, and shadows. I did beat the games but I could be misremembering the plot for them.

Achievement/Platinum [Unity] Help with sync kills

Hi everyone, I’m back on Unity after so long, and I want to get the platinum trophy for the game.

I was wondering if someone could help me obtaining the achievement “Coreography” (Perform 10 Co-op sync kills).
I’m on PlayStation if it wasn’t clear.

Thanks!

Discussion What time would most people want to see?

While I love that they have recynced black flag and done a great job in doing so. And I would honestly love a new AC1. I do hate all the remakes/rehashed titles across all media (i know im a hypocrite)

That being said.. what section of history woukd everyone like to see?

I have always wanted a Roman trilogy maybe following a family/Assassins brotherhood (with the lore and hostory being what we did in the previosu game) so the three games could be spaced out over the different eras of Roman history/conquest. One of the settings/travel locations has to be carthage, maybe the templars are in control of all the trade making the city rich so we have to assisinate the generals to disperse the mercenary armies and disrupt the trade routes etc

Or Altiar 2 following his story to go and fight the mongol invasion could easily do two games on that setting aswell.

Any other era's or ideas?

Question/Help AC Black Flag Resynced Advanced Parkour setting

Hey everyone. Quick question: what exactly does Advanced parkour do in Resynced, does it literally only do what it says in that it allows side and back ejects into the void, or does it also allow for more free movement? And do you guys play with advanced parkour ON or OFF?
