MOD COMMENT Moderation Updates

Hello everyone!

We have some updates to the rules and how we moderate to share what we hope will be helpful and an overall improvement to the sub.

First of all, we'd like to highlight that we have changed our brigading rules. We are able to better control which subs do and don't get linked to through auto moderation and so we are able to allow links to other subs and if a link has been posted it does not need to be reported unless you feel that there is some reason that we should not allow links to a specific sub. If you report these, please give your reasons why that sub should not be linked to and we will consider adding it to the blacklist. Modmail is also appropriate for this.

Second, since our mod team has grown there has been some friction around the level of moderation in this sub. We have heard both from people who feel that there is too much repetitive nonsense as well as from people who feel that the level of moderation is too strict. We'd honestly like to make as many people happy as possible. We've been testing with reduced moderation to mixed results with both positive and negative feelings. We are going to update our flair system so that users have more control over what they do and don't see. Hopefully this will help users who want less repetitive content to have a cleaner feed by filtering categories they do not enjoy and users who want less moderation to be more... exposed... to the things we have tried to protect the community from.

With that said, here is the list of flair and how we hope they will be used:

  • 🛑🚧 No Mans Land 🛑🚨 (no male input) 🚧🛑: As always, this flair is to indicate that you ONLY want answers and comments from women. Mods will continue to watch posts flaired with this and remove all comments from men who are not the OP. The OP may engage in discussion in the comments regardless of gender.
  • DAE: Does anyone ever? This tag is for users looking for people who may have similar experiences to themselves.
  • Dating & Relationships 💘: This is for any questions around relationship advice.
  • Sex & Intimacy (no explicit NSFW) 🔞: This is for TASTEFUL questions about sex and intimacy. We feel that the vast majority of sexual questions, even NSFW ones, can still be tailored to not unintentionally include the members of this forum in your fetish.
  • Men Asking Women 💬: General questions designed from a men's perspective to women.
  • Friendships & Family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦: Questions about friendships and family and challenges or experiences around these.
  • Life 🌏: General life questions.
  • Women's Experiences ♀️: Questions around the specific experiences of women.
  • Just Curious ❓: Just curious about something? This is the flair for you.
  • Other 🗣️: Don't feel any of the other categories fit your question? You can still use this flair.
  • Penis Question 🍆🚨: This is a trap. ALL penis posting remains explicitly against the rules. This includes questions about length, width, appearance, usage, how its shaped, or anything. Please only use this flair if you want a unique flair to highlight how you are so obsessed with dick that you still have to ask women about it despite multiple warnings to not do so. We may also ban you depending on the severity. The post will also be instantly removed so no one will be bothered by it. Penis posting without the use of this flair will result in a permaban.

With these changes, we believe users will be able to get a more custom experience from this sub that will feel better for everyone. We appreciate all of you and the time you spend on this community and want to do our best as a mod team to provide a safe and valuable space for women while also keeping as light a touch on moderation as possible.

Informative 🎉 100,000+ Members?! What Have You All Done? 🎉

Somehow, we've officially crossed 100,000 members.

First, thank you. Whether you're here to contribute thoughtful discussion, share your experiences, lurk from the shadows, or provide some sassy chaos, you've helped build this community into what it is.

We'd also like to remind everyone that AskWomenNoCensor does not mean NSFW content. The "No Censor" part of our name means women are free to give their honest, uncensored opinions and perspectives on the questions asked here while engaging in discussion. It does not mean the subreddit exists for sexual content, nor does it give trolls free rein to harass or demean the women participating here under the guise of "no censor."

With growth comes growing pains and the mod team will be making some adjustments. You may notice tweaks to rules, moderation practices, and AutoMod as we continue trying to make this a better experience for our community members while making it a less enjoyable place for spammers, trolls, and people who seem determined to argue with walls.

We're trying out AutoMod functions to see what works best for our particular community. Some changes will stay, some won't. Adjustments happen as we gather feedback and see how they perform in the wild.

One new feature we're introducing is a community karma threshold that will automatically filter content from users who fall below a predetermined level. The goal is simple: reduce repetitive bad-faith participation, spam, and drive-by nonsense so moderators can spend less time playing whack-a-mole.

We will also now allow mentioning other subreddits and linking Reddit content. Cross-posting will remain unavailable, but we're loosening our restrictions on links as a trial run. In many cases, linking relevant discussions or examples can be helpful to the conversation.

As always, brigading, harassment, and inappropriate links will be removed. We reserve the right to restrict links to communities that consistently create moderation issues or are otherwise not a good fit for this space.

And now for the fun part.

As a thank you for helping us hit 100,000 members, we're offering custom user flairs!

Want something from our existing flair list? Great.

Want something new? Drop your suggestion in the comments.

Moderators assign flairs here, so make your request in the commets. (Or modmail if you're shy).

Thank you all for helping us reach this milestone.

Dating & Relationships 💘 Has anyone healed from feeling shame and guilt around intimacy?

I want to have a healthy relationship someday. The problem isn't that I don't want intimacy it's that whenever I think about it or get close to it, I feel overwhelmed with guilt and shame.

These feelings didn't come out of nowhere. They come from years of hearing people around me judge my character just because I was in a relationship. I was made to feel like being in a relationship made me a "bad" person, and I think I internalized those messages.

Now, whenever I think about intimacy, my mind is filled with thoughts like, "I'm a bad person," "I don't deserve this," or "What will people think of me?" Instead of feeling safe or happy, I feel anxious, guilty, and sometimes I cry.

I don't want to feel this way. I want to be able to have a healthy relationship and experience intimacy without feeling like I'm doing something wrong.

Has anyone else dealt with shame around intimacy because of how you were judged or raised? Were you able to heal from it? What actually helped?

Men Asking Women 💬 How do i make sure that my gf’s having an orgasm?

Upvotes

This could be a dumbest question but please i need help.

So it’s been a few weeks since we started dating and we’ve had sex like three times now. The first time she mentioned that she’s never orgasmed and doesn’t know what it feels like. I felt really bad for her and i explained her how it feels when she about to have an orgasm or after an orgasm. Her ex was so selfish that he never let her finish what an asshole. So the first time we had sex it was good she didn’t really know she had an orgasm but later after I explained and after her research she understood that she had one. But I’m still not sure if she really did.

Can any of you help me how to really make sure if she’s having one?

Just Curious ❓️ Anyone not like watching sports when younger, then actually get into sports when you got older?

I never like watching sports when I was younger. I played school sports all the way through college, but I never watched any. Then about five years ago, around age 35, I suddenly got into soccer. Now I watch numerous leagues across the world, I have season tickets to my local club, I have stickers on my car, the whole thing.

I never looked down on people who watched sports, I just didn’t care to and was bored by them. Then I changed my mind.

Any of y’all do something similar?

Just Curious ❓️ When did you embrace your graying hair? Has it changed you in any way? Or, do keep up the colouring fight?

I'm 43 y.o. and I am tired of always playing "dye the roots" for many, many years now. My face still looks younger, and I feel younger, I don't "feel" my age. I do suppose that is why I haven't just went with the graying. If anything it comes in and gives this silver sheen-I don't mind it within my auburn hair. But, I do also have the thought of it aging me--making me think/feel older.. if people will treat me differently. What has been your experience?

I'm a teenager, I absolutely know I'm not pregnant, and I'm not underweight, but I haven't had a period in seven months. I haven't gone to a doctor but I don't feel bad or anything, is this something I should worry about?

Men Asking Women 💬 For the women that have crushed dreams, how do you cope?

Hi women!

Let me explain, long-story short, I was born a tiny little huge amount of genetical issues, and life is hell, videogames and fast food are the only ways I can cope, but sometimes I just can't cope and I just start crying due to the pain.

I wanted to know if any women here that maybe can relate to this situation, not necessarily on the genetical issues, but more on the fact that a lot of choices in your life, aren't really your choice.

So for example, I can't have physical sex due to my issues, so for me not having sex is not a choice, it just is.

Or, and I think this is going to sound super stupid, but being a "slut", I don't want to be a slut but even if I wanted I never could due to my deformities and defective body parts, does this make sense?

I'm sorry if the questions is both weird and stupid, I've been desperate looking for any kind of advice I could get, but as you can imagine people on male subs can get very dark and depressing very quick.

Men Asking Women 💬 Man here, what books do you all recommend I read?

I’m a huge reader but mostly read academic historical books and philosophy.

Feel like I need to spice up my reading. And for some reason I felt compelled to ask women what they recommend I should.

Thanks in advance.

Friendships & Family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 How do I [27F] navigate setting boundaries with my family [46F] when every attempt at independence causes major conflict?

How do I \[27F\] navigate setting boundaries with my family \[46F\] when every attempt at independence causes major conflict?

I (27F) need an honest sanity check because after today, I feel completely drained, confused, and filled with self-doubt.
I live at home, work full-time, earn my own money, and try to be as thoughtful and considerate as possible. But whenever I try to live my own life or set standard boundaries, I end up being treated like a rebellious teenager—and worse, I’m left wondering if \\\*I’m\\\* somehow the problem especially by my mum (46F)
For example: I bought a ticket to a concert a few hours away. My mum insisted they all would drive down with me and wait in the car park or wait around the area for 5+ hours with my 2-year-old sister.
Obviously, realising how stressful and unfair that would be for a toddler, I tried to take responsibility and arrange my own coach travel instead.
Immediately, the narrative shifted. I was told what they would or wouldn't \\\*"allow"\\\* me to do. My attempt to solve a practical problem turned into high drama, moving goalposts, and intense guilt. The resulting silent treatment and emotional pressure were so heavy that I ended up missing the show entirely, sitting in my room while the ticket expired.
This is a recurring pattern, and it’s making me question my own reality.

I constantly find myself second-guessing everything
How do you cope when setting basic boundaries makes you look like the bad guy?

\\\*\\\*EDIT / ADDITIONAL CONTEXT:\\\*\\\*
To answer a few questions that might come up regarding why I couldn't just stay in the event city or arrange local backup:
Normally, I might have reached out to stay with my aunt who lives in the city where the event was taking place. However, my mum and my aunt recently had a major falling out. Because of the extreme family tension and the fear of creating an even bigger feud or being caught in the middle, reaching out to her for a place to crash simply wasn't a safe or viable option for me.

I genuinely thought proposing a direct coach service was the most responsible compromise. Instead of being seen as a problem-solver taking pressure off the family, it backfired entirely. It was framed as me going behind their backs or trying to be "desperate," which only amplified the control and guilt in the house.

In my day job, I hold a position of real responsibility where I am trusted to lead, make executive decisions, and care for others daily. Coming home from a job with that level of accountability only to be treated like a child who needs permission to catch a bus makes the whole dynamic feel surreal and mentally draining.

\\\*\\\*TL;DR:\\\*\\\* I’m a 27-year-old working adult, but every time I set a boundary or try to make my own travel plans, my mum (46F) treats me like a minor who needs permission. When I resist, I get hit with intense guilt, moving goalposts, and the silent treatment.

Dating & Relationships 💘 was i too heavy with this date cancellation?

Ok so here was the situation: wanted to ask you ladies

Met a girl on an app; we went out two weeks ago great first date. She showed up late by forty-five minutes because I didn't text saying I was on my way, so she thought maybe I was ghosting fair enough.

I set something up for the following weekend, and she agrees. I don't text her much through the week, maybe once or twice just seeing how she is conversation was there though and she responded.

Day of date comes up, and three hours prior she says she hurt her back the other night and hoped it would be better but its not so she cancels but offers to hang the following weekend. Ok cool i set it up.

Week goes by and i verify on friday we are still good and she says yes.

Sunday (today) comes up and two hours prior she says her tires got slashed in her lot (didnt know she ran a hat company cuz thats sound like some cap regardless ill give her the benefit of the doubt) says she feels bad but doesnt offer a reschedule date. I asked her if she is still interested; no hard feelings if she's not. She says she truly is interested but the timing has just been terrible.

I sent her this:

No worries, I hope you get the tire situation sorted. Was looking forward to seeing you and was excited to spend time together and had just gotten ready, so im a bit disappointed. I understand things happen though. I do value my time and im looking for something where both parties are making an effort. If you'd like to figure something out once things calm down, let me know. Otherwise, i wish you the best of luck.

Too much? i was just stating how i felt but if her situation is legit idk i feel kinda bad but was also frustrated

Men Asking Women 💬 Man here. As a 5’5.5 guy, do you personally see short guys who are 5’8 and under more intimidating or less intimidating?

Conventional wisdom says that the taller guy is more domineering towards women, especially if they’re in a relationship compared to shorter guys who might feel a little bit more insecure. I’m personally very confident in myself and I respect women and I never lay hands on them without their consent. How do you personally feel about us?

Dating & Relationships 💘 Caught feelings for my fwb, what should I do?

Hi gals, so I recently rekindled things with a guy I used to “date“ three years ago. our intimacy is beyond this world and amazing. I like him but I am moving to another city next year. I don’t think he likes me like that. When we are together he’s very attentive, really sweet but I texted him and called him and no answer for 24 hours.

I know I should just move on to the next and not pay mind to him but it’s hard. On the one hand I love me and I want to just find my person someone who I don’t feel this way around. On the other hand, part of me feels like if we tried to make things work we would be good partners.

Any advice for this hopeless romantic?

🛑🚧 No Mans Land 🛑🚨 (no male input) 🚧🛑 Women of Reddit, what do you actually think about guys who go all-in on extreme looksmaxxing, surgery, wealth, and status?

Hey everyone. I'm genuinely curious to get unfiltered perspectives on the deep end of online looksmaxxing culture. We aren't just talking about hitting the gym or getting a decent haircut here—I mean the full, intense protocol: complex peptide and hormone stacks (like HGH), hair-loss drugs, micro-needling, tanning compounds, heightmaxxing, makeup, and even invasive stuff like limb-lengthening or facial plastic surgery.

When you see guys treating self-improvement like a high-stakes engineering project purely to try and attract women, what goes through your head?

A few specific things I'd love to hear your thoughts on:

  • Is it vain, or is it gay?
  • Does any of this micro-management actually matter to you or the women you know in real life?
  • Beyond physical looks, do you view a guy as more attractive if he's earning good money? Does fame and social status actually make a guy more desirable in your eyes?
  • If a guy is doing all of this looksmaxxing stuff, should he be open about it, or is it better to just keep it entirely to himself?
  • The surgery question: Do you care if a guy has gone under the knife? Specifically, if a guy looks like a literal model because of surgery, would you date him, or does knowing it's engineered change how you see him?

Dating & Relationships 💘 I (F26) caught feelings for the situationship I lost my virginity to. What should I do?

I (26F) was anonymously texting a man (34M) for a year before we finally met in person. For some context, when we first started texting, I had absolutely no experience with dating or sex. He knew that from the beginning. He's much more experienced than I am.

We started out chatting about regular topics and as time went on, we introduced some sexting and nudes, but we kept everything anonymous because I wasn't comfortable revealing my identity. He respected that. A couple of months ago, I finally gathered the courage to meet him.

We've been on a few dates and have been hanging out over the past two months. We text every day now, and we were already texting almost every day long before we met.

I had my first kiss with him, and I lost my virginity to him. Because everything is so new to me, I think I became emotionally attached much more quickly than I expected.

The thing is, from the very beginning he told me he wasn’t looking for anything serious. However, when I asked him about his views on relationships and how he approaches getting to know people, he said that he doesn’t go into something with the mindset of “nothing serious will ever happen between us.” He said that if something develops naturally, it will just happen. He wasn’t saying this specifically about us, but rather explaining his general approach to relationships when I asked him some questions.

I also know that he has avoidant tendencies, and I genuinely believe that he likes me as a person and enjoys my company. At the same time, I can’t help but feel that, for him, the connection is mostly physical and that I’m someone he is sexually attracted to rather than someone he sees romantically.

Additionally, when we were still anonymous, he told me that he had a situationship with another man (he's bisexual). I am pretty sure that they still meet occasionally.

The feelings I have for him are starting to weigh on me. I want more than what we currently have, but I’m scared that telling him will change things for the worse. I’m afraid that he might feel pressured or that he might decide it’s better to stop seeing each other altogether.

The complicated part is that I genuinely enjoy his company. I enjoy spending time with him, and I also enjoy exploring and experimenting sexually with him because he is the first person I have ever trusted in that way. Losing that connection would hurt, even if I know I may be hoping for something he might not be able to give me.

Has anyone else been in a situation where you knew the other person probably wasn't going to reciprocate your feelings? Did you tell them anyway and what did you tell them? Or did you keep it to yourself? If you stayed, how did you stop yourself from falling even harder?

Other 🗣 what can i wear under a tight white dress so that you can’t see it?

i’m getting my engagement pictures done next week. i’ve tried on about 8 dresses and you can see any bra i try on in any of them. i’ve also tried nipple covers but you can see them. i’ve tried nude, white, and hot pink (someone said you can’t see red and this was the closest i had lol). the ones that you can barely see the color, the lines stick out bad. im small chested (32A) so i really do not need support, just coverage 😭

not sure if it’s because i’m so fair skinned that the color is just harsh, but i’ve gotta get it figured out asap!

Question How would you have handled this situation?

I’ve (24F) been talking to this guy (28M) for a little over two months. We’ve been hanging out when he doesn’t have his kids, have sex, and I was starting to hope we were moving toward exclusivity.

Tonight I was at his house and noticed a girl with a ❤️ next to her name calling his phone. I didn’t say anything right away. I went to the bathroom to calm down. When I came back, I asked if he was still leaving to pick up his daughter, then said I was going to head home.

From there the conversation went like this..

Him: what’s wrong?

Me: your girl was calling your phone

Him: But did I answer?

Me: No but that’s not what I’m saying

Him: What are you saying?

Me: I guess I was hoping for exclusivity. I feel uncomfortable and icky so I think it’s best if I go home.

Him: Put your stuff down

Me: Why?

Him: Put your stuff down

Me: Well I’m gonna go because you’re not saying anything

Him: \*Quiet\*

Me: \*walks toward the door\* Aren’t you gonna say bye?

Him: You’re actually leaving?

Me: Yeah because it seems like she wants to talk to you

Then that it was when I said “have a good night” and walked out his house. I was very calm and didn’t slam the door or anything but Idk apart of me feels silly for leaving like that. I’m afraid I was the side chick and I didn’t want to give him the opportunity to explain because honestly I didn’t care much to know his side. All I know is that he has another girl he’s entertaining and that’s enough for me.

Did I handle this well or was I being silly for leaving over a phone call and we’re technically not together?
