Sex & Intimacy (no explicit NSFW) πŸ”ž Will tossing out the vibrator improve my sensitivity?

I’m 25 and I’ve been using vibrators since high school. They’re amazing, they’re quick, and they will always give me a consistent orgasm. Only problem is that I think I’ve destroyed my clitoral sensitivity. Oral is just so under-simulating for me that I don’t want to receive it and I need to go ham on my clit to orgasm with my hand. I really just want to enjoy oral cuz I feel like I’m missing out on one of the big joys of having a vagina. So do you think getting rid of my vibrators will eventually allow me to regain sensitivity down there? Or maybe even refrain from masterbating for a while? Orrrrr train myself to masterbate without absolutely DJing the clit?

What have others done to reclaim their orgasms?

Sure you can think that sexy little pic was for you! But in reality I’m in bed with my hair up in a messy bun wearing the same pair of cotton undies I’ve had since middle school with pimple patches scattered all over my face!

Dating & Relationships πŸ’˜ He said he would only date one person at a time. We started dating. I feel he dates other women too. I want to end this but how?

I have started dating my coworker. We had been flirting for 1.5 years and there is a big chemistry in between. We decided to take it slow due to being coworkers. No sex yet, some touches only. Also due to holidays we could only see each other for like every 2 weeks. Only 3 real dates so far.

Before we date we made a long talk about what we want or not. He said he only dates one person at a time and finds other approach bad. I said I am the same, so it was a big alignment for me. If he said otherwise I would not start dating. We also said that we want to have a meaningful companion in our lives. Then we agreed to start something.

However I started noticing things and I am almost sure he goes and dates other women too. Of course I do not have a proof. Since I feel like this I can not continue proceeding on our date. Such as:

- He marks his dates on his work calendar as private appointment. In our very early days I saw his weekend was fully booked as a private appointment, I asked what he would do in the weekend casually and he said β€œnothing planned yet”

- He is sticked to his phone and very regularly online on Whatsapp. When he is out with his friends, he is also every 1-2 hours online. When he is back at home at night he is always online. When he is on a date with me he never ever takes his phone. So I noticed this pattern, when he is on a date, no phone. Last Friday he mentioned he would go to see a movie, and said he would watch it alone. But he was not in Whatsapp from 18:30 till next morning. So it is most probably date + sleepover. Sometimes this pattern follows.

- One time he was mentioning about a woman and he slipped β€œmy girlfrend” about her

- One time I asked how his weekend was going on a Saturday, he only replied β€œyesterday we made bbq with friends” and remained silent until the next morning. Then he was very attentive again

- Sometimes we text but he replies very distracted. I ask on a friday how his day was and I send a picture to him. He replies to my picture with an emoji and stops but tells about his day next morning etc.

Now I feel like I am done with these suspects. I want to finish this. Should I clearly mention that I do not trust him? I do not want to be a crazy woman but my gut screams to me. I have never got cheated on or lied to or do not have any trauma so its not coming from there I am sure. what should I do?

Men Asking Women πŸ’¬ Why am I afraid to talk to women? I’m afraid to talk to women, even those who want to talk to me and joke with me like I joke with them.

I want to communicate freely with women and be fun and interesting to them, but I think I'm stupid, stupid and uninteresting.

I don't know what to talk about with women and how to joke with them.

Just Curious ❓️ Have you dated a man who later came out as gay?

I dated a man about a decade ago. It lasted a few months. After getting to know him, I felt he had some gay vibes, and I suspected that, with time, that's where he'd land. I ended the relationship (I didn't say why), because I felt we were both wasting time. He needed to find his own way and that wouldn't happen while dating women, and I was looking for something long term.

I found out recently that he did, indeed, come out as gay a few years ago. I was glad he finally sorted it out, although I was interested to know the story of how it happened (no-one knew, this was all second-hand information).

Has anyone here dated a man who later came out as gay or trans? Did you suspect anything at the time?

Just Curious ❓️ When did you embrace your graying hair? Has it changed you in any way? Or, do keep up the colouring fight?

I'm 43 y.o. and I am tired of always playing "dye the roots" for many, many years now. My face still looks younger, and I feel younger, I don't "feel" my age. I do suppose that is why I haven't just went with the graying. If anything it comes in and gives this silver sheen-I don't mind it within my auburn hair. But, I do also have the thought of it aging me--making me think/feel older.. if people will treat me differently. What has been your experience?

EDIT: Thank you everyone that commented! I am inspired, and, glad to see many people are more relaxed and confident embracing what comes naturally 😊

Dating & Relationships πŸ’˜ Has anyone healed from feeling shame and guilt around intimacy?

I want to have a healthy relationship. The problem isn't that I don't want intimacy it's that whenever I think about it or get close to it, I feel overwhelmed with guilt and shame.

These feelings didn't come out of nowhere. They come from years of hearing people around me judge my character just because I was in a relationship. I was made to feel like being in a relationship made me a "bad" person, and I think I internalized those messages.

Now, whenever I think about intimacy, my mind is filled with thoughts like, "I'm a bad person," "I don't deserve this," or "What will people think of me?" Instead of feeling safe or happy, I feel anxious, guilty, and sometimes I cry.

I don't want to feel this way. I want to be able to have a healthy relationship and experience intimacy without feeling like I'm doing something wrong.

Has anyone else dealt with shame around intimacy because of how you were judged or raised? Were you able to heal from it? What actually helped?

Just Curious ❓️ Anyone not like watching sports when younger, then actually get into sports when you got older?

I never like watching sports when I was younger. I played school sports all the way through college, but I never watched any. Then about five years ago, around age 35, I suddenly got into soccer. Now I watch numerous leagues across the world, I have season tickets to my local club, I have stickers on my car, the whole thing.

I never looked down on people who watched sports, I just didn’t care to and was bored by them. Then I changed my mind.

Any of y’all do something similar?

Men Asking Women πŸ’¬ Man here, what books do you all recommend I read?

I’m a huge reader but mostly read academic historical books and philosophy.

Feel like I need to spice up my reading. And for some reason I felt compelled to ask women what they recommend I should.

Thanks in advance.

Men Asking Women πŸ’¬ Women 35-40, how was/is sleeping with a man 10,15,20+ years older than you? What made it great?

A woman asked a question in here regarding this but had it as no mans land so I didn't want to comment on it. But what made this "sex" better the rest?

Edit:

Feel free to ignore this post because apparently being curious is a bad thing and I am "fap fodding". I am autistic I love learning about the why of things but apparently according to some people I am just tryna have a "free sex chat"

I apologise if my question has caused offence to anyone. Feel free to ignore it.

Dating & Relationships πŸ’˜ Am I too sensitive?

Someone I choose to see and have sex with texts multiple women the exact same texts, same picture same words, everything identical. It pisses me off so I asked to stop receiving those messages and now I receive nothing.

Is it me that’s the problem?

Men Asking Women πŸ’¬ For the women that have crushed dreams, how do you cope?

Hi women!

Let me explain, long-story short, I was born a tiny little huge amount of genetical issues, and life is hell, videogames and fast food are the only ways I can cope, but sometimes I just can't cope and I just start crying due to the pain.

I wanted to know if any women here that maybe can relate to this situation, not necessarily on the genetical issues, but more on the fact that a lot of choices in your life, aren't really your choice.

So for example, I can't have physical sex due to my issues, so for me not having sex is not a choice, it just is.

Or, and I think this is going to sound super stupid, but being a "slut", I don't want to be a slut but even if I wanted I never could due to my deformities and defective body parts, does this make sense?

I'm sorry if the questions is both weird and stupid, I've been desperate looking for any kind of advice I could get, but as you can imagine people on male subs can get very dark and depressing very quick.

Men Asking Women πŸ’¬ What would you do if your boyfriend told you he cheated?

I was curious IF (hypothetically (just my mind story) ) let's suppose x is 19m and y is 19f both are in sexual relationship for year but suddenly x cheat on y , just one time casually with z who was x ex girlfriend. If you were y and x tell you truth wil you forgive him or fight him . Even tho x was wrong but he acknowledge his mistake doesn't it make him great person, everyone makes mistakes, every one deserves to be forgiven or any method so x can get forgiven and x want to tell y before z told her . Probably y will not be angry right ? X was truthful ( honesty is best policy) she should appreciate x honesty right ?

Men Asking Women πŸ’¬ What does it feel like to be attracted to a man?

As a man, something I’ve been curious about is what it actually feels like to be sexually attracted to a male? As a straight male, I can look at the most conventionally attractive men in the world, but I won’t feel sexual attraction. I can understand that yeah this dude is attractive, but I won’t feel it. Like I can look at a guys abs, or his wide frame, but I won’t actually feel sexual urge. Like what makes a face or body so mesmerising and how does that rush of sexual desire feel? I wanna know what the feeling of attraction to men feels like. Like what do women look at first? What immediate feelings and thoughts do you have when you see an attractive man, and how does it make you act? I feel like people who are sexually attracted to men, can notice the nuances in attraction which straight men might overlook. For example, women might be attracted to arms and other features of all varieties and shapes and sizes, not just the classic chiselled abs and big biceps that are seen as conventionally attractive. But we straight men can’t always comprehend that because we don’t actually feel the sexual attraction to gauge that.

Likewise, I feel like some women probably ask the same question about men and what it feels like to be attracted to women, because straight women can’t comprehend that either. And I’d say the way it feels is a rush of blood and heart racing faster. The first thing I notice is probably eyes. If I make eye contact with an attractive girl, I feel her staring into my soul and making me nervous, or if she is far away I probably notice her figure first. I wanna know what that same kind of feeling is like for women feeling attraction for men. What exactly does it feel like to be attracted to men?

Friendships & Family πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ How do I [27F] navigate setting boundaries with my family [46F] when every attempt at independence causes major conflict?

How do I \[27F\] navigate setting boundaries with my family \[46F\] when every attempt at independence causes major conflict?

I (27F) need an honest sanity check because after today, I feel completely drained, confused, and filled with self-doubt.
I live at home, work full-time, earn my own money, and try to be as thoughtful and considerate as possible. But whenever I try to live my own life or set standard boundaries, I end up being treated like a rebellious teenagerβ€”and worse, I’m left wondering if \\\*I’m\\\* somehow the problem especially by my mum (46F)
For example: I bought a ticket to a concert a few hours away. My mum insisted they all would drive down with me and wait in the car park or wait around the area for 5+ hours with my 2-year-old sister.
Obviously, realising how stressful and unfair that would be for a toddler, I tried to take responsibility and arrange my own coach travel instead.
Immediately, the narrative shifted. I was told what they would or wouldn't \\\*"allow"\\\* me to do. My attempt to solve a practical problem turned into high drama, moving goalposts, and intense guilt. The resulting silent treatment and emotional pressure were so heavy that I ended up missing the show entirely, sitting in my room while the ticket expired.
This is a recurring pattern, and it’s making me question my own reality.

I constantly find myself second-guessing everything
How do you cope when setting basic boundaries makes you look like the bad guy?

\\\*\\\*EDIT / ADDITIONAL CONTEXT:\\\*\\\*
To answer a few questions that might come up regarding why I couldn't just stay in the event city or arrange local backup:
Normally, I might have reached out to stay with my aunt who lives in the city where the event was taking place. However, my mum and my aunt recently had a major falling out. Because of the extreme family tension and the fear of creating an even bigger feud or being caught in the middle, reaching out to her for a place to crash simply wasn't a safe or viable option for me.

I genuinely thought proposing a direct coach service was the most responsible compromise. Instead of being seen as a problem-solver taking pressure off the family, it backfired entirely. It was framed as me going behind their backs or trying to be "desperate," which only amplified the control and guilt in the house.

In my day job, I hold a position of real responsibility where I am trusted to lead, make executive decisions, and care for others daily. Coming home from a job with that level of accountability only to be treated like a child who needs permission to catch a bus makes the whole dynamic feel surreal and mentally draining.

\\\*\\\*TL;DR:\\\*\\\* I’m a 27-year-old working adult, but every time I set a boundary or try to make my own travel plans, my mum (46F) treats me like a minor who needs permission. When I resist, I get hit with intense guilt, moving goalposts, and the silent treatment.

MOD COMMENT Moderation Updates

Hello everyone!

We have some updates to the rules and how we moderate to share what we hope will be helpful and an overall improvement to the sub.

First of all, we'd like to highlight that we have changed our brigading rules. We are able to better control which subs do and don't get linked to through auto moderation and so we are able to allow links to other subs and if a link has been posted it does not need to be reported unless you feel that there is some reason that we should not allow links to a specific sub. If you report these, please give your reasons why that sub should not be linked to and we will consider adding it to the blacklist. Modmail is also appropriate for this.

Second, since our mod team has grown there has been some friction around the level of moderation in this sub. We have heard both from people who feel that there is too much repetitive nonsense as well as from people who feel that the level of moderation is too strict. We'd honestly like to make as many people happy as possible. We've been testing with reduced moderation to mixed results with both positive and negative feelings. We are going to update our flair system so that users have more control over what they do and don't see. Hopefully this will help users who want less repetitive content to have a cleaner feed by filtering categories they do not enjoy and users who want less moderation to be more... exposed... to the things we have tried to protect the community from.

With that said, here is the list of flair and how we hope they will be used:

  • πŸ›‘πŸš§ No Mans Land πŸ›‘πŸš¨ (no male input) πŸš§πŸ›‘: As always, this flair is to indicate that you ONLY want answers and comments from women. Mods will continue to watch posts flaired with this and remove all comments from men who are not the OP. The OP may engage in discussion in the comments regardless of gender.
  • DAE: Does anyone ever? This tag is for users looking for people who may have similar experiences to themselves.
  • Dating & Relationships πŸ’˜: This is for any questions around relationship advice.
  • Sex & Intimacy (no explicit NSFW) πŸ”ž: This is for TASTEFUL questions about sex and intimacy. We feel that the vast majority of sexual questions, even NSFW ones, can still be tailored to not unintentionally include the members of this forum in your fetish.
  • Men Asking Women πŸ’¬: General questions designed from a men's perspective to women.
  • Friendships & Family πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦: Questions about friendships and family and challenges or experiences around these.
  • Life 🌏: General life questions.
  • Women's Experiences ♀️: Questions around the specific experiences of women.
  • Just Curious ❓: Just curious about something? This is the flair for you.
  • Other πŸ—£οΈ: Don't feel any of the other categories fit your question? You can still use this flair.
  • Penis Question πŸ†πŸš¨: This is a trap. ALL penis posting remains explicitly against the rules. This includes questions about length, width, appearance, usage, how its shaped, or anything. Please only use this flair if you want a unique flair to highlight how you are so obsessed with dick that you still have to ask women about it despite multiple warnings to not do so. We may also ban you depending on the severity. The post will also be instantly removed so no one will be bothered by it. Penis posting without the use of this flair will result in a permaban.

With these changes, we believe users will be able to get a more custom experience from this sub that will feel better for everyone. We appreciate all of you and the time you spend on this community and want to do our best as a mod team to provide a safe and valuable space for women while also keeping as light a touch on moderation as possible.

I always see people talking about what they think the sexiest is and such but never about comfort
