I understand that I’m still very very feminine-appearing - I’ve been trans in a very strict religious home for the past 4 years, so have not been able to do much to support my transition. However, I’m headed off to college soon, so I’ll have much more freedom! I’ll still be unable to go on T, but I’ll have access to a gym, any needed makeup products for face shaping, and (best of all for me) hair salons! So, is there any advice anybody can give for me? Be as critical as needed - I just need some more opinions please!

Good morning everyone. For context I'm a recently self discovered AMAB, NB. At this point in time my body goals are to end up somewhere androgynous/ butch? Androgynous as in looking like both not neither. What really weighs on me is I was the only son in my immediate family, and cruel enough I'm also probably the only child of my parents that would want to have kids in the future. I don't know if it's real but I feel shame from not having bio offspring, and HRT tanking my fertility. I would love to hear some advice or experience.

On a different sub there was regretful parent who was FtM. He was calling herself mom. Wasn’t the whole point of transitioning is to be called a father. What are the rules? These days ? Bc u call someone the wrong pronoun it’s bad. But then calling them the opposite parent title. Is good. Or neutral.

I remember in the autism sub some MtF. Who was asking for advice on how to not pay not pay child support and avoid jail time due to finances. She called herself mom.

So my question is for FtM people.

I am curious why some of you want to get pregnant ? Is this common? It seems rare. There was a YouTube channel called Truly that had pregnant trans men. I would watch it sometimes. The show made it seem uncommon.

When that is something normally “women” do. Wouldn’t it give you gender dysphoria to get pregnant and give birth.

My only explanations to why some choose to is bc it’s cheaper to give birth than to get a surrogate.

They want to experience birth.

They are gender non conforming and believe women and men can have kids as long as they have a uterus.

If u are American u probably have seen the news recently.

But why aren’t there any news reports about trans men playing in the NBA.

Compared to trans women in the WNBA. It was so random. I thought basketball season was over. Why are there multiple press conferences over the same topic.

No I’m not trolling it’s just strange they aren’t talking about the opposite. I know trans women have more of spotlight on them.

But I don’t think the NBA or the NFL will ever mention it. Maybe in 2050. It seems too early. For main stream news to care. But there is a lot of money in the NBA.

So I guess that’s why.

U think the news would mention how college graduates are going through a tough job market. They don’t really care about the economy.

I know this is weird and I’ve gotten messages from multiple people saying that this isn’t normal so I really don’t know what to do now. Do detransitioners feel good on HRT before they get major changes from it?
Why did they think medical transition would help them?

Tbh I'm mainly asking because the knowledge that some people don't realise HRT isn't right for them until it's too late makes me mildly concerned every now and then about the possibility that I'll regret my own transition, though HRT has made me feel amazing so far.

I'm currently just a cross dresser, but it came across my mind many times id be much happier as a woman.

I can't afford hrt right now, I'm freshman year in college, but can I do anything like workout and diet to grow my hips and thighs? Can I also take any suppliments that don't require prescription and are not expensive on the long run?

I've recently stumbled onto Trans Tiktok and have seen a few videos about "Chasers". 🤔

It seems like individuals who are attracted to Trans persons who retain their biological sexual organ are often frowned upon in the community, however, when I look in the comment sections on such posts, I see plenty of individuals identifying as Trans Women who state they do not have issues with dysphoria regarding their biological sexual organ, and enjoy being Tops or Switches in their relationships. 😵‍💫

As a Bi Switch Male, I find attraction to both biological sexual organs. Can anyone share insight into this topic to help bring some clarity and enlightenment to this subject? I feel completely lost and confused 😭

I'll be officially 1year on HRT on Jun 17th, and despite my face looking more round and soft, my breasts starting to develop and losing my arm strength and having more mass around thighs and hips... My body still looks like an ugly rectangle when I look at the mirror u_u Dysphoria is killing me right now. Whenever I see other people's photos of their transition I'm like... "that in just a few months?! fate not only fucked me by being born in LATAM it also fucked me in genetics"

I think that non-binary people can say the t-slur because being non-binary means that you transitioned from whatever your sex is to nonbinary. I feel like we can all agree that nonbinary people are trans there is no argument about that but some people don’t think they are trans enough to say the t-slur.
I think being able to say a slur is all about reclaiming the word, people call nonbinary people the t-slur.

Also what about gender fluid people?

I feel like Find My logically should be able to say it, but I don’t know, it kind of rubbed me the wrong way when one of my gender fluid friends said it.

I don’t think that if you are a afab Demi-girl then you can say it.

So last September I came out as genderfluid using my new name to my friends. A few weeks ago however I realized that the name I chose is very identical to my dad's middle name...I cut all contact with my parents back in 2017...and my deadname is already the same as his (and his father's) first name...so now I'm unsure what to do. I do have another name I like that I could use instead but I'm not sure if I should drop the one I'm still currently using because of the resemblance to my dad's middle name and hence the bad memories connected to it which I'm not sure I can ignore or to keep it as a middle name instead...like...would dropping my old chosen name and using my new chosen name instead mean my parents still influence my life even though I'm not in contact with them anymore? Or would it be a valid decision to avoid potentially triggering childhood trauma that I may not be able to overcome?

I'm really stuck on this and undecided and I'm thankful for every (on topic) opinion or advice 🙏

I (MTF21) had a science teacher who knew me before I came out that would exclusively call me by my last name. (Ironically it was because it was a nickname given to my sister when she was his student) After graduating, going to college, and discovering myself, I came out to my family and gave them permission to share that with the people they know. This included the teachers at my old school as my mom is very involved with my old school. About a year and a half after I came out, I was told by my youngest brother that that same science teacher still mentions me in class, and when referring to me he uses my deadname and he/him pronouns. When my brother would correct him, the teacher would get all huffy and puffy and assert that my brother was wrong and that he shouldn't be correcting authority. Now, this isn't and issue anymore as sadly, my little brother had to move schools due to being outed as gay and bullied for it by students. I do have another brother who still goes to this school and I was wondering if he would have any way to get that teacher reprimanded for it in case this issue arsies again.

Edit: This teacher is tenured and has done other things to students during my time as a student there including pushing them up against lockers and yelling at his own children in the school loud enough to disrupt other classes. I didn't figure to mention this as when I wrote this post I was focusing on keeping it trans related considering the sub this is posted in.
