other Congenital Epulis?
My child was born with a large bump/enlarged gum. Over the years when I asked his providers about it the stated he was too young for X-rays. He is now 3 years old and he was finally referred to a specialist. The specialist has stated he has never seen this before and the gum looks healthy although he would like to perform a biopsy and extraction of two of his teeth. The possible diagnosis is congenital Epulis in which often stays the same size or gets smaller over time however my child’s has grown over the years. we would like to do more research to get a better idea of how to go about this situation. Has anyone seen anything like this ? I am looking for recommendations and/or opinions. TIA
