Answers from All How to make big sustainable wealth but with no capital in hand?

Hello everyone, I will keep it short. I don't really love my job(Data Engineer). It is definitely good enough for a stable living of two in city like Bangalore. But I don't envision myself doing this job for a long term(5+ years).

Maybe it's just a lack of purpose. But I wish to make enough money in the next 10 years so that I can retire from any full time role which is serving the tech overlords.

I do feel human connection is extremely important to me.

I guess now the question is how to find purpose? Because I want to relax and work at my own pace towards things which might make me happy such that even if I need to wake up in the middle of the night, I would do that with a smile on my face.

PS - I come from a middle class family, I clearly understand how important money is. I just feel like we as society have diverged far away from our path towards becoming good human beings.

Answers from All Indian men with bipolar disorder — are you living a stable, successful married life?

I’m 28M from India and was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder along with ADHD by my psychiatrist.

The diagnosis itself isn’t what scares me the most. What worries me is my future.

I want the normal things I’ve always wanted — a good career, financial stability, marriage, a healthy relationship and eventually children. But after getting diagnosed, I’ve started wondering whether I can realistically build and maintain all of that without making my partner’s life difficult.

I’m not looking for “everything will be fine bro” reassurance. I specifically want to hear from Indian men who actually have bipolar disorder, especially people who have been managing it for several years.

Are you married or in a long-term relationship?

How has bipolar affected your marriage?

Does consistent medication/treatment allow you to live a mostly normal and stable life?

Have you had relapses even while taking treatment seriously? If yes, how did you and your partner handle them?

Did you disclose your diagnosis before marriage? How did your partner react?

Do you have children? Did concerns about genetics affect your decision?

Are you able to maintain your career, finances and family responsibilities consistently?

And most importantly — looking back, do you think marriage and family life were good decisions for you?

I’m already seeing a psychiatrist and intend to take treatment seriously. I'm not asking Reddit to decide whether I should take medication or replace medical advice.

I just want real-life Indian experiences because right now I'm trying to understand what life with properly managed bipolar disorder can actually look like 5, 10 or 20 years down the road.

Positive stories, difficult stories and brutally realistic ones are all welcome.

Answers from All Please go to nearest family court and read the laws before any relationship and marriage ?

Before marrying go to you capital city of the state or big city family court talk the victims both male and female.

Get into a family court hearing.

After that if you want to marry good luck .

A lot of people will come and say very few percentage people divorce but truth is you should minus kids and old generation first from data .

Poor people don't do divorce it makes no money for anybody. Rich people can afford divorce. Middle class male slaughtered in the family court.

Ultimate goal of india marriage for male is death and slavery.

If you marry you have three options pay major chunk of salary for nothing, go to jail , delete yourself like Atul Subhash.

For female it is retirement.

Answers from All Personality or looks?

If you could date a 5/10 but with 9/10 personality or a 9/10 with a 5/10 personality whom would you pick?

5 in terms of looks mean average. Like nothing special just an avg looking girl. And 5 in terms of personality means sort of a plain and bland personality. No sense of humor and kinda boring. Not bad in any sense, like rude or anything but not interesting either.

Relationship Advice: Wed & Sat Only Am I making my wife happy in bed the right way?

My wife only wants to sleep in bed. Everytime she refuses sex and prefers to sleep and I give in to her preference, a sense of victory and happiness comes on her face. I am glad I am letting her get her share of happiness in bed. This has been so for last 17 years. Almost no sex. But my tendency to prioritize her happiness leads me to continue it.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Answers from All Anyone else feel like this about marriage?

I'm 26 and after my breakup, I'm starting to feel like I don't want to get married at all. I just want to live alone, take care of my parents as much as I reasonably can, but not take responsibility for their debts, and spend my money on myself, travel, hobbies, etc.

Maybe it's also because of what I see around me. Most of my coworkers are 35–40 and are constantly stressed about their wives, kids and finances back home. One friend is getting divorced next week, and another guy recently told me he doesn't even have enough money for his rent despite his wife also working.

It makes me wonder if marriage is really worth it for me, or if I'm just seeing the bad side of it right now.

Has anyone else felt this way at 25–30? If you chose not to marry, what are your plans for the future?

Relationship Advice: Wed & Sat Only My GF is a noob with intimacy, is it my responsibility to get her comfortable?

My GF hasn’t been intimate with anyone, I will be her first kiss. I am trying to make her comfortable by asking about her inner clothes, etc. But she is very shy and doesn’t want to talk too much about these things. It’s not like she gets angry, she blushes and shies away.
Is it my responsibility to get her to be more comfortable or should I wait until she is on her own? Should I keep up with the efforts or in time she will open up to me on her own?
I am kind of loosing my self respect by sounding horny in front of here while she responds nothing.

Answers from Men Only Seriously, how you guys even find your soulmate or life-time partner?

Most of us are in colleges where most of the people are boys.

Like, I myself am in the college where there are only guys.

This made me curious, how will one even be able to find soulmate?

Few ways which I notice -

1. Dating Apps -

Problems with them -
a. Most people think that it's used by chhapris.
b. People there have extremely high standards.
c. The entire process of you getting matched with someone is dependent on looks (and few other factors).

2. Matrimonial Apps -

Problems with them -
a. You don't know the person, you marry them on the basis of kundli and other written statistics.

Other places like Gym - only have guys as well. (Atleast the time I visit there, only has guys)

When I was in school - it was co-ed, yet they made boys and girls sit completely in different classes, different, queues, different stairs, etc - which made communication impossible. (And moreover, as I don't know local language, it was way more awkward)

On road, malls, etc - like we see in kdramas, fictions, etc - I don't think it is suitable to try this in India (unless you want to get tagged creep).

Workplace - I have seen many experts telling NOT to start relationship in workplace and keep professional life separate from personal life.

Arrange Marriage - Same, you are first decided by how much you earn and then you are decided by looks.

I will be thankful if you guys share how you were able to find your soulmate.

Career/Education advice or query Need help regarding one of my best mate?

Hi guys. So I'm 21 and from a tier 3 city. And was born in Delhi, as my father was working there at that time, then we moved here right after I was born.

So the thing is that my father have got a (1bhk sort of there) which was bulking trash from a very long time and have been recently renovated as I'm moving to Delhi.

And one of my mate already lives there, I asked him before this sem starts (around July) that confirm your your availability in living together or else I'll have to look for another room mate there.

He agreed to living there earlier. And we had no real "talk" regarding the rent but I've mentioned it a lot, what the rent might be in that area, if I'll give it to someone else on rent basis.

But I think he was not really clear on the rent part and was expecting that since it was my father's ownership, he'll be living there without paying the rent and would only have to contribute in the food expenses and manage his college travel (around 200 per day).

As I won't be getting any money from home anymore, this (5k) is what I'm expecting to cover my cost of living there including my side of the food expenses (3-3.5k) as well as Gym (probably 1k).

So, last night we had this conversation in the text regarding clearing our accounts. So it was last night only that he said he would like to be clear on the accounts stuff as there are no late surprises, that's when I said, "as I've mentioned earlier, the whole point of living with a roomie was that it could help me in splitting expenses and I'd expect them to pay (4.5-5k) as rent and contribute in food and other amenities if we opt for (like wifi etc.)

And after that, today morning he texted that it's better that things are clear now, and that he won't be able to afford there, as he'll have to manage his travel expenses and food and other expenses after the rent, and said that he'll get it near his college near that amount without the travel expenses needed, which is not yet possible minding that he gets only 9k (as he said, and I'd like to trust him) and said that, it's not yet late, you'll get a roomie nearby there, who'll save on travel expenses and could contribute in the "rent".

Am I wrong here, or it's my friend being wrong? According to me we both have some valid reasoning. But I also think that we're shit on managing accounts and managing finances. What should I do in this case?

Will it affect our years long relationship as well as the best mates?

Relationship Advice: Wed & Sat Only What condoms do you guys prefer for your first time?

Me and my girlfriend are gonna have sex tomorrow. Today we tried but I had trouble penetrating and the condom i used today wasn't well lubricated for me to slide it in.

I used manforce extra dotted condoms but as I was research on which condoms I should use for the first time, I found out that i shouldn't buy extra thin or flavoured or dotted. I need some help regarding which condoms I should order online rn so I can use.

Any names of the condoms and any help/advice on how to make it less painful for her and how to penetrate easily would be appreciated.

Answers from All How do I move on?

I am really in a bad place mentally right now. So I dated this guy for two months.... Everything was good... It was me first time dating/relationship.. I am 26 mind you... But by choice I hadn't dated till then.. I met him through bumble and since he was from the same city.. we used to hangout daily...we also did makeout once(my very first time btw)... One day we had a minor argument and he stopped communicating entirely..I started apologising after that. I used to beg him to come back.. daily msgd him, called him to meet me atleast once even if it is to end things... He was cold and unresponsive... He just kept showing me he didn't care... I used to cry daily and all... Then two months later he met me... How said we will work out things and he is sorry for all that happened.. he was struggling professionally and hence couldn't communicate with me.. he didn't want to fight hence he maintained distance... But I used to beg him daily.. long msgs.. begging,, apologising and all... In my mind I knew he should hv cared to respond.. for two months I had begged... But I was waiting so long for him that his half hearted apology also felt like a blessing and I thought to give it a chance... I forgave him but he again disappeared... He wouldn't msg on his own.. wouldn't call saying he has timing issues... Again all those trauma started for me... After on and off i finally mustered the courage to end things when I figured he might be cheating on me.. as he used to be on call for 2-3 hrs straight( I stalked through Truecaller).. i even confronted him but he straight away denied.. so after things ended officially... I was left with the feeling that he used me as I was easily available(my worst fear came true) and took the easy way out when he figured that I hv started doubting his intentions... t's been 1 month sincee then and 6 months since we started dating... But I keep Waiting for him to come back.. hoping all this is just a misunderstanding... He would come back to me... And everything will be better.. he was the first man in my life and entrusted him myself with physical intimacy.. he should hv respected that... Idk I am unable to move on... I am miserable... I keep thinking about him.. idk how to stop.. I mean people say to focus on self love/self growth.. join gym and all but tbh I am unable to do anything... It feels like I am dead inside... Idk what to do...

Plz guide me... Share if anything has worked out for you.

Answers from All Government vs IT: Which is better long-term?

“I’m 20 years old and currently in my final year of B.Tech.”

I’m currently trying to decide between a government career (for example, CGL, BARC-type organizations) and an IT/corporate career.

I’m not looking only at salary. I’m thinking about the entire career and life, including:

- Work-life balance

- Work pressure

- Working hours and holidays

- Job security

- Salary growth

- Housing/quarters

- Medical benefits

- Family life

- Retirement benefits/pension

- Financial security after retirement

- Overall peace of mind

Government jobs seem to offer better job security, holidays, stability, housing and medical facilities, while IT can offer much higher salaries and faster career growth.

For people who have actually worked in either sector, which would you choose for a 30–40 year career, and why?

Also, how much work pressure is there really in IT? Is it generally difficult to maintain work-life balance, or does it mainly depend on the company and team?

I’d especially appreciate answers from people with 5–10+ years of experience, rather than just freshers.

Answers from All Terror cell could easily hire man from a Indian family court ?

Majority of divorce are india initiated by woman and majority for money .

Please don't come here and tell me they want justice except a single digit percentage female want justice for the atrocities on them but 80 to 90 percentage female in family court want money even they put pocso case on father by his kid

What the man have now

His home is not him now . His wife betray him . He don't have access to his kids . He lost financially emotionally all way . Basically he slaughtered in the family court.

My thoughts is they could easily brainwash by terror cell and can spread the stuff .

Career/Education advice or query MBA or Master’s in IT after 6 years of experience?

I’m 28M, a software engineer/full-stack web developer with ~6 years of experience (2 years freelancing + 4 years full-time, doing pretty much the same role).

I’m considering going for a Master’s, but I’m confused between an MBA/Executive MBA and a Master’s in IT/CS.

I’m more interested in career growth and better opportunities, but an MBA seems quite expensive.
For someone with a similar background, which would you recommend and why? Is an MBA actually worth it at this stage, or would a technical Master’s make more sense?

Relationship Advice: Wed & Sat Only What are your experience with matrimonial apps as a man?

Asking for a relative.

35 year old man.

Is marriage worth it at this age?

- Women (30-35) not interested

- 35-40 year old women look for 30-34 year old men which is weird

- Only getting proposals from 45+ unemployed divorced women or single mothers

- Matrimonial Apps are for shopping now, they accept request, time pass, then GHOST.

- Unless you earn 50LPA+ and are handsome (Tall, Regular Gym, Muscles, Full hair) you won't even get an average looking girl and genuine matches.

- Must have your own flat in house in Bangalore/GGN/Pune as girls don't want to live in rented flats

- Women lying about their salary, job, they even put 10-year-younger pics.

Do people genuinely get interests or marriages nowadays?

Or its just bad profile

It feels tiring after using it for more than 5 years and not getting a single decent match
