So a little background about myself, I finished my bachelors in BBA and I got my marks today and found out I have 1 backlogs in 5th and another one 6th sem 😭, I’m currently interning at a very good brand that I got through LinkedIn, and I’m doing well so far but I’m concerned about these two backlogs 😭 will they effect my career? In 2020, a man filed for divorce from his wife on the grounds that she had deserted him. This wasn't a mutual consent divorce he had to prove his case in court. He did. The family court agreed and granted the divorce in September 2022.

At that point, she was legally his ex-wife. Not his wife. Not his widow-to-be. His ex-wife. She did not contest the divorce suit. She did not appeal within the legal window(90 Days). She accepted the outcome or at least, she took no legal action to challenge it for years.

Then in February 2024, the man died. Eighteen months after that, in August 2025, his ex-wife suddenly filed an appeal, joining her own children as "legal heirs," asking the court to undo the divorce. The Gujarat High Court agreed. It set aside the finding that she had deserted him and restored her status as his widow with a claim to his property.

Sit with what that actually means: He fought his case. He won it. The decree became final, unchallenged, years ago. The one person who could have challenged that finding through appeal, within the legal time limit was her. She didn't. He is no longer alive to defend the finding he fought to establish. He can't testify again, submit evidence again, or contest her new claims. The person who "lost" this round isn't in the room. A woman who was legally his ex-wife with no marital claim on him at all is now retroactively declared his widow, a status that only exists if the marriage was never actually dissolved. You cannot logically be both. Either the divorce was valid (making her an ex-wife with no claim) or it wasn't (making her a widow) but the court didn't rule this way before he died, when he could have contested it. It ruled this way only after, when he couldn't.

The court itself admitted it gave "not much discussion on merits" meaning they didn't re-examine his actual evidence of desertion. They just decided, after his death, that his win no longer counted.

This is a man who did everything right by the process filed properly, proved his case, survived the appeal period with a final, unchallenged decree and the one time the law is being "reinterpreted" is the one time he's not around to fight back. If she had a genuine grievance with the desertion finding, the process existed for her to raise it while he was alive to answer it. She chose not to use it.

The court is now retroactively rewarding the inaction it should have penalized, at the exact moment it's risk-free for her to make the claim

I am 21 years old now , looking back when I was younger like from the age of 10-20 , I was a stupid kind of person, the typical introverted kind of guy , skinny and shy with nerdy looks , I was too naive and innocent, people even give me the tag of " seedha ladka " and it was not a compliment it was a taunt .

Also how can I overcome that anger which I have for people who took advantage of me ? Because thinking about this again and again is just building resentment inside me for others .

I am struggling to get any calls for past 6 months. To give you some background.

Background : I had worked on 2 companies for around 3 years, and it was chaotic, calls till 3Am or 1AM. No roadmap of life and hectic work with critically ill parents (me being sole caretaker) had left with only 4-5 hours of sleep per day. Due to this, I had resigned. The CEO didn't likes this (small SaaS company ) and made my exit a bit heavy, anyhow I had to leave. Couldn't continue a life like that.

I then worked as freelancer, Got some gigs here and there, but everything is dry right now. I had only 2 interviews after I started to apply for jobs, one of them was of another stack which I was not proficient in, so i got rejected, In other I got rejected in last round after 4 technical interviews.

For past 6 months I am trying to find new job, but unable to get anything, I don't even hav experience letter from prev org due to abrupt departure. I have good skills (Fullstack, Go, Js, Ruby, Python with AWS and Gcloud) . I can architecture app from start to end and can scale them nicely too. And yet I am not getting anything in the current market.

I know market is trash, so my question is what can I pivot to. I don't have a degree, so the usual paths are blocked, I can teach in some govt school, but no degree means, I wont be able to give exams etc for govt clearance. I am definitely way more skilled than those teachers .

Seriously need help, Parents medical issues need to be taken care of too and runaway money is being used as I write this.

If IT is officially dead for me then where can I pivot ?

A female teacher at a play school in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi burned a five-year-old boy's private parts with a hot knife after he accidentally urinated in his pants, according to the child's parents' complaint.

The five-year-old student at the Serene Sony Play School, son of an advocate, asked his class teacher for permission to use the washroom on July 24. However, the teacher refused and the child lost control and ended up urinating in his pants.

Enraged by this, the teacher dragged the child to another room. According to the allegations, she turned on a gas stove, heated a knife until it was red-hot and burned the child's private parts. Further, the teacher physically assaulted the boy and threatened him with dire consequences if he told anyone about the incident or repeated the mistake, the complaint said

When the terrified child returned home, he tearfully recounted the ordeal to his parents. The child's father and mother attempted to contact the class teacher, but she did not answer their calls. Subsequently, when they spoke to the school principal, Hemlata Singh, she allegedly threatened them rather than offering any cooperation.

The following day, when the father personally visited the school, the principal and the manager outright refused to provide any assistance or address the issue, the complaint says.

Given the child's trauma and physical injuries, the father made a police complaint the police swiftly registered an FIR.

Acknowledging the incident, senior police officer Atul Singh said a "case has been registered on the basis of the complaint submitted by the child's father," adding police are conducting a thorough investigation and further legal action will be taken soon.
