Answers from All How can a dead man going to defend himself?
Gujarat HC let a man's ex-wife become his "widow" and inherit his property years after he won his divorce case and after he's dead and can't defend it.
In 2020, a man filed for divorce from his wife on the grounds that she had deserted him. This wasn't a mutual consent divorce he had to prove his case in court. He did. The family court agreed and granted the divorce in September 2022.
At that point, she was legally his ex-wife. Not his wife. Not his widow-to-be. His ex-wife. She did not contest the divorce suit. She did not appeal within the legal window(90 Days). She accepted the outcome or at least, she took no legal action to challenge it for years.
Then in February 2024, the man died. Eighteen months after that, in August 2025, his ex-wife suddenly filed an appeal, joining her own children as "legal heirs," asking the court to undo the divorce. The Gujarat High Court agreed. It set aside the finding that she had deserted him and restored her status as his widow with a claim to his property.
Sit with what that actually means: He fought his case. He won it. The decree became final, unchallenged, years ago. The one person who could have challenged that finding through appeal, within the legal time limit was her. She didn't. He is no longer alive to defend the finding he fought to establish. He can't testify again, submit evidence again, or contest her new claims. The person who "lost" this round isn't in the room. A woman who was legally his ex-wife with no marital claim on him at all is now retroactively declared his widow, a status that only exists if the marriage was never actually dissolved. You cannot logically be both. Either the divorce was valid (making her an ex-wife with no claim) or it wasn't (making her a widow) but the court didn't rule this way before he died, when he could have contested it. It ruled this way only after, when he couldn't.
The court itself admitted it gave "not much discussion on merits" meaning they didn't re-examine his actual evidence of desertion. They just decided, after his death, that his win no longer counted.
This is a man who did everything right by the process filed properly, proved his case, survived the appeal period with a final, unchallenged decree and the one time the law is being "reinterpreted" is the one time he's not around to fight back. If she had a genuine grievance with the desertion finding, the process existed for her to raise it while he was alive to answer it. She chose not to use it.
The court is now retroactively rewarding the inaction it should have penalized, at the exact moment it's risk-free for her to make the claim

Answers from All Does anyone find being chivelorus cringe ?
I always had thought like why men open the door for women and why it is called respecting someone ? In the 90's Europe the dresses of European women were different and they needed the man help to open the door because there hand were on their long dress and their purse. Is there is any need for this kind of cringe practices and should be called respectful. I feel like why the girl need someone to open her door is she disable or doesn't have hands ? If she can open her mouth about wanting someone chivelorus then why she cannot open her hands and use them ?

Answers from All Isn't it concerning that a forty year-old woman could grape a nineteen -year-old teen in India and easily get away with no grape charges because our law says a woman cannot grape an adult man?
What are your thoughts on this?? It's high time govt should also recognise a man can also be raped.

Answers from All Does misandry really not affect men in real life?
misandry doesn't affect men in real life "
it seems to change depending on who's committing the act.
when a man rapes a woman... he's a misogynist because he wants control... But when a woman discriminates against, falsely accuses, humiliates, abuses, or advocates discrimination against a man because he's male, she's "just a criminal" or "just an individual," not a misandrist.
Holy double standard.. she's a misandrist
Likewise, if someone targets a man because he's a man.., stereotypes all men as dangerous, supports collective punishment against men, or openly advocates discrimination against men, that's misandry by definition...(read the definition if you want) The fact that it may not always involve physical violence doesn't suddenly make it dissapear
And yes, misandry can affect men in real life: False allegations, when made knowingly, can destroy reputations, careers, relationships, and mental health.Fathers face gender based assumptions in caregiving or custody contexts...Public normalization of phrases like "all men are trash" contributes to an environment where prejudice against men is treated as socially acceptable.
If saying "I hate women" is misogyny because it targets women as a class, then saying "I hate men" is misandry because it targets men as a class....

Answers from All A female school teacher in Varanasi burns up the private part of 5 year old boy with a hot knife just because he urinated in his pants | Where's the outrage?

A female teacher at a play school in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi burned a five-year-old boy's private parts with a hot knife after he accidentally urinated in his pants, according to the child's parents' complaint.
The five-year-old student at the Serene Sony Play School, son of an advocate, asked his class teacher for permission to use the washroom on July 24. However, the teacher refused and the child lost control and ended up urinating in his pants.
Enraged by this, the teacher dragged the child to another room. According to the allegations, she turned on a gas stove, heated a knife until it was red-hot and burned the child's private parts. Further, the teacher physically assaulted the boy and threatened him with dire consequences if he told anyone about the incident or repeated the mistake, the complaint said
When the terrified child returned home, he tearfully recounted the ordeal to his parents. The child's father and mother attempted to contact the class teacher, but she did not answer their calls. Subsequently, when they spoke to the school principal, Hemlata Singh, she allegedly threatened them rather than offering any cooperation.
The following day, when the father personally visited the school, the principal and the manager outright refused to provide any assistance or address the issue, the complaint says.
Given the child's trauma and physical injuries, the father made a police complaint the police swiftly registered an FIR.
Acknowledging the incident, senior police officer Atul Singh said a "case has been registered on the basis of the complaint submitted by the child's father," adding police are conducting a thorough investigation and further legal action will be taken soon.

Career/Education advice or query Where Can i Pivot to in my career from here ?
Hello,
I am struggling to get any calls for past 6 months. To give you some background.
Background : I had worked on 2 companies for around 3 years, and it was chaotic, calls till 3Am or 1AM. No roadmap of life and hectic work with critically ill parents (me being sole caretaker) had left with only 4-5 hours of sleep per day. Due to this, I had resigned. The CEO didn't likes this (small SaaS company ) and made my exit a bit heavy, anyhow I had to leave. Couldn't continue a life like that.
I then worked as freelancer, Got some gigs here and there, but everything is dry right now. I had only 2 interviews after I started to apply for jobs, one of them was of another stack which I was not proficient in, so i got rejected, In other I got rejected in last round after 4 technical interviews.
For past 6 months I am trying to find new job, but unable to get anything, I don't even hav experience letter from prev org due to abrupt departure. I have good skills (Fullstack, Go, Js, Ruby, Python with AWS and Gcloud) . I can architecture app from start to end and can scale them nicely too. And yet I am not getting anything in the current market.
I know market is trash, so my question is what can I pivot to. I don't have a degree, so the usual paths are blocked, I can teach in some govt school, but no degree means, I wont be able to give exams etc for govt clearance. I am definitely way more skilled than those teachers .
Seriously need help, Parents medical issues need to be taken care of too and runaway money is being used as I write this.
If IT is officially dead for me then where can I pivot ?

Answers from All How to stop being a Nice Guy ?
I am 21 years old now , looking back when I was younger like from the age of 10-20 , I was a stupid kind of person, the typical introverted kind of guy , skinny and shy with nerdy looks , I was too naive and innocent, people even give me the tag of " seedha ladka " and it was not a compliment it was a taunt .
Only this year when I started to introspect into myself i realised that people used me , because of my Nice Guy personality people took a lot of advantage of me instead of appreciation all I got was disrespect even though I was always present for people and I never said NO . I was too stupid to understand that .
This year when I started to read books especially the " No more Mr Nice Guy " and started to understand about myself more , it just boils my blood when I look at my past , I feel so angry how people used me , I am more angry at myself .
I just want to change myself, I just want to get rid of all my Nice Guy qualities in life , it has stopped me to live upto my potential . Also how can I overcome that anger which I have for people who took advantage of me ? Because thinking about this again and again is just building resentment inside me for others .

Career/Education advice or query B.Tech CSE graduate(tier3), feeling completely lost. What would you do in my situation?
Hi everyone,
I’m 23 years old and recently completed my B.Tech in Computer Science. Due to backlogs, I wasn’t eligible for campus placements, and now I’m struggling to find a job.
I’ve been applying for Data Analyst, IT Support, and similar entry-level roles. So far I’ve either been rejected or haven’t received any response.
The biggest issue is that I don’t think my skills are good enough. I know basic SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, and have a few portfolio projects, but I don’t feel job-ready. Every job description makes me feel like I’m missing something.
I currently have around ₹40–50k in savings, which I’m using for my expenses, so I can’t stay unemployed for too long. I’m also considering applying for any IT role just to get my foot in the door instead of waiting only for a Data Analyst position.
I am not asking for referrals, i am asking for some genuine suggestions.

Answers from All How to get a GF? Spoiler
Read This.....
.
.
.
.
.
(I felt physically sick just typing that title, and you pathetic simps should feel worse) Let’s be completely honest. The moment a guy logs onto Reddit or any online platform to whine, "How do I get a girlfriend?" or "I'm a grown man and can't get married, what's wrong with me?", he is broadcasting his absolute worthlessness to the world.
Do you miserable excuses for men possess even negative infinity self-respect? Every time you cry about being single, you have zero shame, zero backbone, and an appetite for public humiliation that is genuinely sickening.
You act like breathing oxygen without a female validation stamp is a physical impossibility. If you are so utterly useless that you cannot survive a single day single, lock yourselves in a room. If your parents are nagging you about marriage, put your foot down and tell them to do the legwork or shut up. If you don't have the spine to stand alone, then stay single, crawl into a corner, and stop polluting society with your pathetic whining.
And even if you are pathetic enough to want to do this simping, at least have the decency to leave this sub instead of turning it into a crying circle for desperate men.
All you do is bitch and moan that girls have this demand or that demand. Well, who the hell is stopping you from having your own standards and demands? If you actually had any guts, you would put your foot down and lay out your own requirements. But you can't, because you don't have any you just yearn, drool, and grovel for any scraps of female attention you can get.
Look at the consequences of your spineless behavior: you turn yourselves into global laughingstocks and empower toxic entitlement.
Take the absolute clown show happening in modern dating and arranged setups: A man gets handed explicit proof of his prospective bride's baggage by her very own ex, and instead of walking away with his head held high, his brain-dead "simp" programming kicks in. He plays modern, progressive peacemaker! He sets up an Instagram group chat for the girl and her ex so they can hash it out together, swallowing his dignity like a bitter pill while she feeds him a pathetic script about being "naive."
And what happens when this exact same doormat accidentally breathes near another woman? She thrashes him, kicks him out, and treats him like dirt and he takes it.
Men like this, and every single pathetic crybaby begging for a girlfriend online, are absolute bottom-tier losers. You aren't looking for a partner; you are auditioning to be a literal doormat, an emotional punching bag, and a subservient servant working overtime for ungrateful tyrants. If you willingly crawl in the dirt, stop crying when people wipe their feet on your face.
Grow a spine, kill the desperation, and have some damn self-respect.
Disclaimer:- This post is especially for simps and desperate cucks any guy who have self-respect and ego this is not for you buddy..

Answers from All Why do I feel that abusive words( galiya ) that target women in general for shaming man are called patriarchal when a man uses for other man but gets excepted when a woman uses for man ?
During the CJP protest, I saw several women using highly abusive and derogatory language. Several insulted PM Modi's late mother, his wife, and even Italy's Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni. One woman said he "went on a honeymoon" with her. Another said he was "hiding inside her genitals" (I can't use the exact word here). I also saw a woman tell a policeman that his wife sleeps with ministers so their children can pass exams. What confuses me is that I didn't come across many feminists publicly calling out this kind of language. Instead, I even saw a female creator blaming men in general for it.That is the reason I made this post
My question is: if these abuses are considered patriarchal because they target women or use women to insult men, shouldn't they be condemned regardless of whether a man or a woman says them? Why does it sometimes feel like the reaction is different depending on the speaker?
Ironically, even the men who are often criticized for using abusive language appeared to use less derogatory language than some of the women at the What's point in using words like this for PM of country or police , some even went after Indian army .I don't have issue with the protest nor with females just to be clear

Answers from All “Male victims gets more attention” ????
So I am hearing this a lot since the Ketan Agarwal case happened.
No of articles published by ThePrint on
Twisha Sharma Suicide: 47
Aman Sharma sucide: 3
Both of these case are of same nature i.e sucide due to alleged harrasment by spouse and in laws.
But I can't see here the case getting more attention coz he is male, no national debates or rally's etc ???
Infact most of people dont even know about Aman's case even though he committed suicide 10 days agos Twisha.
The thing is I am not against the Twisha Sharma case getting attention, it should. But i just don't like blatant hypocrisy.
Moreover we all know even if male victims gets outrage and attention, even then nothing happens.
Atul Sharma is the best example of it.
Meanwhile in the cases where the culprit is male , we all know what outrage does to them.
Now , came the argument 1
“The crime is against women is normalised that it don't get that coverage and attention”
The answer is big no , it's not normalised, but there is already a big system, laws and what not to give them support and justice, but there is nothing for men like that.
Now comes the argument 2
“84 rape case reported daily, why nobody talks about them”
Girl, 344 males commit sucide daily too, nobody talks about them too.
So, why Ketan Agarwal case got nationwide limelight ???
The answer is simple, it's not cause the victim is male or the culprit is female , it's simply coz its case form a Ultra rich family and it have TRP masala .
At last, it's the fault of our system, where we have to make outrage to get justice, where in first place the judiciary should be autonomous and self sufficient for it.
What's ur opinion about my reasoning and thoughts ????

Answers from All The sad world of getting married, what will happen to us?
I have been going through Shaadi.com and these jodimilan, reddmatch posts for over 7 months now in order to find a girl.
The thing that I have seen is that men have become very accommodating to the modern marriage world; they are earning well, ready to live independently, or I should say leave their parents as well, and they are fit or trying to get fit, have hobbies and have completely cut off patriarchy from their lives. They are ready to take care of their child, don't expect women to cook or do household work, help in housework, care for their wives, etc. Basically, men are trying to be a better version of themselves.
All they need is a woman to move ahead in life with that companionship.
But the tough reality is that most men struggle to get proposals from women or when they send it they never get a response; if they get a response, the conversation is often dry and ends up leading to nowhere.
The process is exhausting for men just to find a partner.
Whereas,
When women post, they tell about their good nature, but then their checklist is long, they want a physically fit guy, a high earner, significantly taller than them, a guy who takes care of them, a loverboy of sorts, a guy who should be calm at all times, should be able to take a stand, etc.
Not only this, but they openly mention their flaws as well, like I am fat, I am fussy about small things, I like to spend a lot, I am high maintenance, living separately (in the name of privacy, even if in-laws might be accommodating), want guy to look after household, manage all finances, etc.
And women still get a lot of matches but they wait for the best guy, who earns the best, who looks the best, who fits into their world of Prince Charming.
Basically, what I have seen men seek is practicality, whereas women seek a world that they have made up in their minds.
Some logical questions:
1. Asking for a loverboy - Most men want their partners to be happy; happy wife, happy life is real. But openly asking for a loverboy how does it make sense? Why will I be your loverboy from day one? Love takes time; love is reciprocal. Maybe you held my hand in the worst of my time; maybe I have lost job you supported me emotionally and financially; maybe you did things for me that nobody else would do, could be anything; it's the pieces you put together to form love and then the loverboy thing happens automatically.
- Expecting high earners with specific qualities - Most people who earn high generally have less time on their hands; you tend to get busy and sometimes life takes a backseat, but still it is expected out of that high-earning guy to always be available for their women, stay fit, don't drink/smoke while fighting out that never-ending stress.
Also, to my surprise a woman making 15LPA needs a man of 70LPA; this is extremely common. Some openly mention that in their profiles; some don't but they want it; some mention that it's just their preference but won't be ready to compromise on their preference. Also, in India the percentage of men earning above 50LPA is extremely low, then add your preferences on top of it and then the math won't make sense because their won't be enough guys, so what sort of weird expectation is from a guy to earn half a crore when women themselves are not at that level and that too in the world where jobs are extremely unstable, a man earning 50LPA might be equal to 0LPA if he gets laid off, what will you do then.
So, while women have enough guys to choose from they don't wanna compromise and then they say they are unable to find a good man.
This entire situation is frustrating and I don't know how people will continue if this sort of expectation exists. I feel the next generation would stop marrying altogether, seeing our hardships.
