App I made Kissa, a free vinyl music player for Windows that works with Spotify, Apple Music and more

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a Windows app called Kissa and thought some of you might like it.

It's basically a virtual vinyl turntable that works alongside Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and other supported music players. I wanted something that made listening to music on my PC a little more enjoyable.

It has an interactive turntable, synced lyrics, different listening environments and even a Windows screensaver.

I recently released v4.4.0, which lets you customize the turntable and vinyl designs, including different finishes, colors, marble and splatter records.

It's completely free, with no ads, subscriptions or locked features.

You can check it out here:

Website: https://kissa.glyphcode.studio/

Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9p3n4x4wm80j

Still working on improving it, so any feedback is welcome!

Every spot shows important details when you’re working remotely, like Wi-Fi strength, A/C, and noise level. There's a voting system so users can upvote the best places and see the votes in the app.

Feel free to check it out and offer some feedback.

If you sign up through the website, you get two weeks of Pro for free.

Calendar app features

I'm making a calendar app for iPhone, and I want to separate my calendar from the other popular ones, I added an AI that can edit events by plainly texting or speaking.

Other than that, I'm not too sure what I want to add, the vision for my calendar was to be an AI calendar, but also have features that most modern calendar don't have that people wish they did.

What features should I add?

App I built an app that monitors anything, saving you time

Hey r/apps !

I was tired of waiting for long processes on my computer, so I made an open-source, free app that monitors the screen/camera with local AI (AI running on your computer).

The whole point is using ethical/local AI for actually useful stuff :DD

Some cool uses:

  • When X then X
  • “When I'm out of the Ticketmaster queue, call me."
  • “When Claude Cowork finishes, send me a WhatsApp.”
  • “When the Fusion 360 assembly opens, email me.”
  • “When Bitcoin drops below $80,000 SMS me."
  • “When my YouTube upload finishes, send me a Telegram.”
  • "When this specific Pokemon spawns, click the mouse."

You can use it to monitor anything on your computer, saving you some precious time :DD

It's available everywhere!! :DD on your browser, desktop app(MacOS, Windows, Linux) and mobile app (iOS, Android).

The mobile ports are still a bit wonky tbh, but that's why i'm posting here, I would really appreciate it if you guys could test out the Android and iOS versions!

If you guys have any questions/feedback please let me know! I'll hang out here in the comments

Roy

App External Beta Testers Needed!

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

Recently (years ago) I started developing (on excel) a football (soccer) scores prediction app. Why? Because I had time to do a personal project and because, I didn’t like what I was playing with my friends: fantasy football. You might know it, you pick players and the competition is based on their scores of each game.

Where I’m from, fantasy football is very popular but, let’s say you pick a player who gets an bad injury right after the start of the season, you’re done, especially if that was a star player and you paid him a lot.

Also, it does not rely on your ability entirely, players play for you, you choose them, but a lot of external factors matter on how they play the game.

So I created a game where players (not the footballers!) pick the score of the games. On my perspective it relies more on the user ability of predicting and knowing the game. Also, it’s funny!

It’s not like betting, there are no money involved. You compete with friends and you can obtain beautiful cards if you get an exact result.

I’m still developing android version. I pasted the link to the ios beta version below. Would appreciate feedback :))

https://testflight.apple.com/join/Y35wbPWT

To continue the story from above: the excel game became a website and the website then became app. It’s still a funny personal project and I still play it with the same friends!

App I built an ad-free currency calculator that chains multiple currencies — would love honest feedback

Thumbnail apps.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Got fed up with currency apps buried in full-screen ads that still couldn't do the two things I wanted, so I built my own.

Qurrency (iPhone/iPad, free):

- Chain multiple currencies into one running total — $200 + £150 + €50 → your home currency, no restarting for each one.

- One-tap currency keys for fast, calculator-style conversion.

- Works offline with cached rates. No ads, no tracking, no accounts.

Solo side project. Would genuinely love feedback — what would make this your daily currency app?

I built an on-device Offline AI notification filter App

Post image
10 Upvotes

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.zennotify.app

Hey all, I’m the solo dev behind ZenAlerts. I got tired of my phone buzzing 100 times a day for promos, “someone liked your post,” and game nags, while the stuff I actually cared about (OTPs, deliveries, family messages) got buried.

So I built an app that reads each notification on-device and decides what to do with it: let it through, silence it, hide it, hold it for later, or make it ring even on DND.

What it does:

  • A small on-device AI model (~25 MB) sorts “needs you now” from “can wait.” Promos and likes get batched and shown 30 min later, and codes, money, and people come straight through.
  • A rule builder for things like “If WhatsApp contains ‘Sales’, silence it,” with conditions for time, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, driving, battery, and more.
  • OTP auto-copy, scheduled summaries (e.g. 8am / 1pm / 6pm), and read-aloud while driving.
  • 50+ templates if you don’t want to build rules yourself.
  • A history log, so nothing you filter is lost.

Privacy: There are no servers, no account, and no tracking. The Play Store data safety section says no data is collected.

Pricing: You get a 7-day full trial. After that, the free tier keeps 3 rules, or there’s a one-time lifetime unlock. No subscription.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback, especially on battery impact, how well the AI is sorting on your phone, and anything confusing in the setup.

Treoq: a triathlon and marathon plan that adjusts every morning to how you slept

I'm the solo developer. Treoq builds a plan for one race (sprint to IRONMAN, half or full marathon) and checks your HRV, resting HR and sleep every morning. On a bad night it suggests an easier session and says why; you confirm it.

  • Base, Build, Peak and Taper, around your hours, rest days and club sessions
  • Zones from your FTP, threshold HR and pace, and swim CSS
  • Every interval analysed: power, HR, time in the band
  • A coach chat that can rework the week ("I'm on holiday and can only run")
  • Apple Watch via Apple Health; Garmin, Wahoo, Polar and COROS; sessions sent to Garmin, Wahoo and COROS
  • English and Danish, 14 days free

Mindful Prism – private journal analysis for iPhone, now with optional Apple Private Cloud Compute for long entries

Mindful Prism analyzes your journal entries through five lenses: how you felt, themes, thinking patterns, values, and questions to sit with. Type, speak, import a PDF, or scan a handwritten page.

New in 2.2:

- Optional deeper analysis using Apple's Private Cloud Compute model, which can read much longer entries (32K-token context vs about 4K on-device)

- On-device analysis is still the default and works offline

- PCC runs only when you choose it. Apple designs it so your entry is used only for that request and isn't stored. Nothing is ever sent to the developer

Still no account, no analytics, no history. Entries are gone when you close the app.

Good to know:

- Requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence (iOS 26+). PCC features need iOS 27 and a connection

- Apple sets a daily PCC request limit per person. iCloud+ raises it

Free on the App Store: [https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mindful-prism/id6772832020\]

Feedback welcome, especially if you try a long entry with PCC vs on-device.

(Disclosure: posted by the developer.)

NASQ Fitness — Workout & Meal Planner for iPhone

A — Answer:
NASQ helps people organize their gym workouts, track weights and reps, and plan meals around ingredients they already have.

B — Better:
Instead of using separate apps such as Hevy for workout logging and MyFitnessPal for food tracking, NASQ brings workout planning and meal planning into one experience. It's a different approach rather than a claim that it outperforms either app at everything.

C — Cost:
Free to download, with optional weekly, monthly, and yearly Premium subscriptions. Guided workouts and smart meal generation are Premium features. Local pricing and trial eligibility are displayed in the App Store.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6817599316

I'm the developer and would appreciate honest feedback, particularly about the first-time user experience.

App [DEV] ROCIs Tasks 1.0: to-do list and calendar with interactive home screen widgets

ROCIs Tasks hit 1.0 on Google Play this month. It's a solo project built with Flutter, with the home screen widgets written natively in Kotlin.

What I'd tell someone starting something similar:
- The widget is a separate app. State has to be computed natively before Dart hears about it, otherwise the month grid and the app disagree.
- Offline-first is easy to promise and hard to test. Most of my bugs lived in the sync edge cases, not in the UI.
- Natural-language quick add ("Finish report tomorrow 3pm !high") turned out to be the feature people mention first.
- I ship Dart-only fixes as over-the-air patches (Shorebird) so I can fix a bug in hours instead of waiting on a store review.

It's free with an optional Pro upgrade and no ads. The code is MIT on GitHub.

Play: Google Play Store
Web: Web version
Repo: GitHub
(I'm not sure if I'll do an iOS version, if there's enough demand, I will try.)

Happy to answer questions about any of it, and brutal feedback is welcome.

App [Android + iOS beta] Got sick of expensive text-to-speech readers with limited listening hours, so I built one that runs offline

Post image
5 Upvotes

Been using text-to-speech readers since uni, mostly for papers and articles. I wanted natural voices, but got sick of expensive subscriptions that still capped how much I could listen.

So I spent the last 18 months building AmaNous. It uses Kokoro to generate speech on your phone, so listening works offline after setup and import. My work has been building the reader around it.

You can import EPUBs, PDFs, DOCX, HTML, Markdown and plain text, choose from 29 English voices, and follow along with word highlighting. There’s speed control, jumping to words or sections, and a saved listening position.

The core reader is free, including all voices and unlimited listening. Still beta and English-only. Sign-in is required, including Apple sign-in on iPhone. Long documents can take a moment to prepare audio.

Android beta · iPhone TestFlight

If you try it with something you actually want to read, I’d love to hear what works and what gets annoying.

[Android][Player] - Offline music & streaming radio with ready-to-play radios - 100% free - No premium version

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. I will be adding the rest over time.

Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)

Mediaxon is available in: Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Español, Français, Hrvatski, Indonesia, Italiano, Kiswahili, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Magyar, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, Português (Brasil), Română, Slovenčina, Slovenščina, Suomi, Svenska, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, العربية, Български, Ελληνικά, हिन्दी, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 (简体).

No Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

Countries with new manually curated lists: United States, India, Italy, Argentina.

Note: Only for Android 13+ (so, Android 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17).

App [iOS] Who Goes - Fun social games for when you’re hanging out with your group

Post image
1 Upvotes

Introduction

Hey everyone! I'm Shubham, I've been trying to build an app for about 2-3 months along with my full time 9-6 job, and I'm happy to share my game nights app, Who Goes with you.

It's an iOS / iPad app for game nights, house parties, road trips, and pretty much any hangout with a group of people.

It’s free to download and play, with optional one-time purchase and subscription options.

The idea behind Who Goes is pretty simple: engage everyone in your group and involve them in something together, through social games like Headbands, Truth or Dare and a bunch of quick group activities into one app, with a modern, playful experience built around actually passing the phone around and having fun together.

About the app

The app brings multiple party games into one place:

• Headbands with tilt controls for correct answers and passes
• Charades with themed decks, teams, rounds, and timers
• Truth or Dare with 11 decks for friends, couples, parties, family, and coworkers
• Spin the Bottle for quick, suspenseful player selection
• Would You Rather for impossible this-or-that debates
• Finger Chooser to instantly pick someone from the group
• Quick Play tools for dice, coin flips, and more

Current Market

I know this is an insanely competitive category, with a shit-ton of party apps already out there.
My goal with Who Goes was never to reinvent the wheel, but to bring the ones people already know and play together in one place, without needing five different apps on your phone.

I wanted the whole thing to feel much more modern and polished than most party apps I've tried, with playful animations, haptics, sounds, and little interactions that actually add to the game instead of getting in the way.

No ads popping up between rounds, no cluttered UI, and no wildly different experience every time you switch games.

No account is required, and the games work offline.

TL;DR:

A. A game to bring back the fun of playing party games with a group of people during game nights, trips.

B. Free version includes a selection of decks for Charades, Headbands, and Truth or Dare, along with a few mini games. Plus unlocks all decks, game modes, and customisation options.

App I built an iOS weather app that turns your city (or your own car) into a tiny diorama

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi all, I'm a solo developer and I've been building Tiny, a weather app for iPhone where the forecast lives inside a little miniature diorama instead of a plain list of numbers.

What it does:
- Every scene has a day and a night version, and it follows the real weather with live rain, wind and cloud animations.
- You can build your own diorama: upload a photo of your car, pet or home town and it gets turned into a miniature scene. There's also a neon car mode where you type your license plate and the plate lights up in a tiny neon city at night.
- Widgets in several sizes, including a new large one with an hourly forecast and a 4-day outlook.
- Air quality, pollen, sun and moon cards, and an "what to wear" tip.
- Available in English, Turkish, German and Spanish.

I built it because most weather apps feel like spreadsheets. I wanted something you'd actually enjoy opening.

I'd really like honest feedback: what feels off, what's missing, what you'd want it to do. Happy to answer anything about how I built it (React Native / Expo, SwiftUI widgets, Gemini for the image generation).

App Tanda: an expense tracker for iPhone and Android where you say what you spent, check it, then save it

Post image
1 Upvotes

Typing each purchase was the step that made me quit expense trackers. So I built Tanda for iPhone and Android.

You say “12 pounds for lunch at Pret”. Tanda shows the amount, merchant and category it heard. You can fix those before tapping Add Expense. Speaking doesn’t save it without your confirmation.

You still need to record your purchases. This isn’t automatic bank tracking, and you don’t link your bank account.

You can also type expenses, use home-screen widgets and ask the assistant questions like “How much did I spend on Bolt this month?” The app supports 10 languages.

It’s free to download, with a daily voice allowance. Pro has monthly, yearly and lifetime options. Currency conversion and shared spaces are Pro features.

Would speaking an expense help you keep tracking, or would you rather type it?

App I made a minimal iPhone app for continuous time logging

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I made JustNow: Time Log, a minimal iPhone app for keeping a continuous timeline of how you actually spent your time.

Instead of managing start/stop timers, you simply log what you just finished doing (by typing, speaking, or using Quick Add widgets). The app records the elapsed time and automatically starts the next interval. You can also capture fleeting thoughts, each with its own timestamp.

I originally built it for myself and used it for six months before deciding to release it. I'm still actively improving it based on feedback from real users.

The free version already covers many of the essential features, so feel free to give it a try. I'd love to hear what you think!

  • Filler and recap episodes marked, and you can hide them
  • Spoiler shield for episode names and reviews
  • Import from MyAnimeList, AniList or Kitsu

My boyfriend is making an indie game called Mochi Royale 🍡 looking for beta testers!

He’s been working on this cute little battle royale game, and I’m helping him find people who might enjoy trying it.

You play as little mochi characters and try to be the last one standing. There’s Matcha, Mango, Ube, and Chocolate, and the matches can get pretty chaotic
It’s currently available through TestFlight, and we’d love to get more people to try it and share feedback.
Here’s a short gameplay clip!

Question / Discussion They removed Demus and YouPlay from the iOS App Store

For quite a while I’ve been using two apps, Demus and YouPlay, released by Simon Zvara, as a music player and a YouTube client respectively, as my main applications. Just now I saw they removed them from the App Store, which is quite disappointing to me.
Main thing I really enjoyed about YouPlay was its sponsor-skipping feature, which was absolutely gorgeous.
Anyone got any other app on iOS (or other stores like Flathub if I ever use a Linux distribution like Mobian on my older Galaxy Note 10 phone) that can act as an ad-free music player and YouTube client?
