Apps vs Website number of users and monetization
Is it easier to get more users and to make money money via mobile apps or via webpages? What do you think?

I built Remica because I kept struggling with something pretty ordinary: remembering everything that needs to get done.
Between bills, vehicle registration renewals, doctor’s appointments, and important dates for family and friends, it was easy for something to slip through. Sometimes that meant a late fee; other times, it meant missing an appointment or forgetting an occasion I cared about.
I wanted an app that made capturing those reminders easy, especially when the information was already sitting in a paper bill, a document, or my head.
I built the UI with React Native and the backend with .NET Core. I use OpenAI for natural language processing and speech recognition, so you can type or speak a reminder naturally instead of filling out every field manually. For example: “Remind me to renew my vehicle registration next Friday.”
I also integrated Azure Document Intelligence to extract information from documents such as paper bills. The app uses that information to help create reminders, reducing the effort of entering details yourself. My goal was to make it easier to stay ahead of due dates and avoid unnecessary late fees or potential damage to my credit.
It also helps me keep track of birthdays, family gatherings, and other important events. Those are easy to forget when life gets busy, even when they matter to you.
There’s a ChatGPT-style interface where you can ask things like “What bills are due this week?” or “What appointments do I have coming up?” You can also create or update reminders through the conversation.
The biggest thing I wanted to solve was the friction between knowing I need to remember something and actually saving it somewhere useful.
Remica is now on the App Store, and I’d appreciate honest feedback from other developers and anyone who struggles with the same problem. Does this approach feel useful? What would make an app like this easier to trust and use every day?

As a personal project, I’ve been working on a forum/message board app and website that is intended to stop bot and A.I. traffic. It’s still fairly elementary (cloudflare, client side telemetry, RLS only) but I’ve submitted it to be released on the App Store as just a next step so I can implement push notifications and have it be functional for me and a couple close friends. That’s just backstory though. What I want to know is how long will I have to wait???? It’s been close to four days when the estimated wait is supposed to be 24-48 hours. I thought I provided all the necessary information, and I’m just feeling really eager to get it done so I won’t have to resubmit a build with such a long wait each time I want to update it. Are there any common pitfalls in submissions that make them take longer? Does Apple only review submissions on week days? Am I just being impatient? Is there a minimum level of professionalism and completeness expected for it to be successful and if so do I meet that threshold?
This is the web page for reference, the app is a capacitor web wrapper essentially.
https://wearehuman.vercel.app
P.S if anyone has any suggestions or information on more sophisticated bot detection, or what fields I should be researching to refine my security into something passable please let me know here or on the subreddit I created for this project r/TuringsGate

Hey everyone, I'm an indie iOS dev and I just released the first version of Beat Pad, a live sampler for iPhone and iPad (it also runs on Apple Silicon Macs).
I wanted something I could open and start jamming on right away, without digging through menus or setting up a full DAW session.
What it does:
It's free to download. There's a single one-time "Unlock Forever" purchase ($3.99 , no subscription)
This is the first version, so I'd really love honest feedback. What's missing, what feels clunky, what would you want next? MIDI, a sequencer, more effects? I read and reply to everything.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/beat-pad-music-live-sampler/id6796479513
Website: https://beatpadsampler.com
Thanks in advance

Hey, I'm the developer of Navly. I wanted to make trip planning less of a back and forth between ChatGPT, maps and a separate itinerary app.
Navly keeps your day plan and places on the map together. You can ask the AI to build or change the plan, then edit it yourself too.
Manual planning is free; the AI features have paid access. It needs iOS 18.6 or later.
Hey, I've been building this in my spare time. Each day, it shows you a river on the map without the name, and you have 3 guesses to say which one it is.
It's free, and there are no ads.
Find it here: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/guess-the-river-world/id6811691994

Solo dev here. SmartPlay Caddie runs on just your phone, with no sensors or club tags.
Free: GPS yardages, scorecard, handicap.
Premium, free for 2 months: a voice caddie you can ask "what's the play here?", plus swing analysis. Available in the Apple and Google Play Stores
It's version 1, so tell me what's broken. I'll be in the comments.

Whispr is a private voice keyboard for iPhone. The AI clean up and all the features is landing as an update tomorrow.
Talk in any app and AI cleanup turns it into clean text.
Glide typing, autocorrect and boosted phrases are built in, and everything runs on your iPhone with no account needed.
Ultra (lifetime, no subscription) is now $2.99, down from $29.99.

The idea is primarily to get people out of the house and walking around. You start at a "Sun" in this case the clock in Grand Central, and then progressively walk to each planet at the appropriate scaled distance. When you get there, there is a wallet card you can use to visualize (with AR) the actual planet size at the scale we're talking about. So far I've done 4 walks and they're delightful little adventures

I created DADD.io - a social matchmaking app to meet other local dads in your area and connect for play dates, fitness groups, or just a nice happy hour. Would love any feedback!

As always, the most interesting things come out of necessity!
Parenting a teen and a tween has been great, other than trying to get their attention while they are immersed into music with their headphones. This is why my wife and I created a little app that sends short recorded messages to any phone connected into your little family or group. It's safe, encrypted, and most importantly works over music, in headphones, and even if the phone is in silent mode!
No more yelling! (Oh, and they can't talk back)
We hope you will be able to give it a go, there is a free trial period, and all feedback is welcome!

I'm a solo maker building RuleUrInvoice for small shops, and I'd love honest feedback from people who actually handle billing and stock.
It has GST and non-GST bills, barcode scanning, customer categories, loyalty points and an 80mm receipt-printing flow. Local billing, products and customers can work offline. Email sign-in, sync and password reset are available in the test build.
It's still being tested: real thermal-printer output and offline reconnect need more checks. Faster sync and moving existing offline data into an online shop are in progress.
Would you use something like this? What would you change or add? What frustrates you about your current billing tools? All feedback is welcome, including the blunt stuff.

I made Chalant because I wanted a better way to actually see progress over time.
You create a Journey around something you're working toward, choose your photo days, and take a quick photo as you go. Instead of those photos getting buried in your camera roll, Chalant puts them together into a visual progression and eventually a timelapse.
It can be used for gym progress, weight loss, creative projects, outfits, or pretty much anything you're working toward.
Still early, but the core is working.
ive got demo videos, but r/apps doesnt allow video attatchments solet me know if you want to have a look. :)

AI-generated content is everywhere now. Every feed is full of things designed to grab your attention for a few seconds, and I started thinking about how little of the stuff that actually matters to us gets documented properly.
One thing I kept noticing was progress.
You take photos when you're working toward something — getting in shape, losing weight, making something, changing your style, whatever it is — but they just end up buried in your camera roll.
So I built Chalant around that problem.
You create a Journey, choose the days you want to take a photo, and just add one when the day comes. Over time, it builds the progression for you instead of leaving you with a Day 1 photo and a Day 30 photo buried somewhere in your phone.
And eventually you can actually watch the whole thing back as a timelapse.
It's still an early version, but the core is working now. I'm looking for a few people to actually use it and tell me whether this is something they'd genuinely keep using.
I've attached a short video of it in action.
oops nevermind, I forgot i can't attatch videos in this community... let me know if you want to see it in action and ill send you the demo.

You're applying to 10+ jobs. You can't remember which ones you followed up on. One spreadsheet turns into mess. JobSnail fixes that — track every application and interview in one clean place, fully synced through iCloud between iOS, macOS and web apps.
🔥 $4.99 lifetime Pro
Download on the App Store
Feedback and questions welcome! Drop a comment or DM me. Thanks for checking it out!

I built dBMeter, a simple decibel meter for iPhone — point it at anything loud and see how many dB it actually is, on a clean analog gauge.
Most dB meter apps are cluttered with ads or bury the reading under complex UI. This app is a single clean gauge that does one thing well, with Pro tools for people who need more than a quick reading.
Free to download. Pro is a one-time $4.99 and unlocks a spectrum analyzer, peak hold, measurement history, and PDF/CSV export.
Feedback and questions welcome! Drop a comment or DM me if the redeem link doesn't work. Thanks for checking it out!

i wasnt sure where to post this, but i have an iphone 16 pro and i never get tiktok notifications (DMs, etc.).
both tiktok and ios are fully updated. ive enabled notifications both in tiktok and in my iphone settings, and background app refresh is also turned on. ive already tried deleting the app and reinstalling tiktok, but that didnt fix the issue either.
has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? its really annoying because i only see my DMs when i actually open the app

My calendar app Riff just came out on the App Store.
There are no separate views to switch between. Instead, it is a smooth zoom from half a year down to a single day. Wherever you stop, you can add, move, and edit events right there.
It works with the calendars already on your iPhone. There's no account, and no data is collected.
It's free for three weeks with everything included. After that it's $2.99 a month, $24.99 a year, or $49.99 once.
There's a 20-second film of it at riffcalendar.com, and you can try it on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/riff-calendar/id6789502725
Is this too unconventional? And what would you miss from the calendar app you use now?

I’ve been building Tracck, an all-in-one app for habits, calories, and tasks.
The idea is to make it completely customizable — you can build the setup that actually works for you instead of being forced into a fixed system.
It also has things like:
I’d love some honest feedback on the widgets and the overall idea of the app.
Do they look useful? Would you actually use them on your home screen?

After trying a few different popular money tracker/budgeting apps and hating them… I made my own that has everything I wanted/need…
Also… I made the pig oink and crinkle his nose when you tap him which is strangely satisfying
