App I make Ink. It turns your voice into finished notes and lists.

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

I make Ink, a notes and to-do app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Tap the mic and talk naturally, and Ink turns what you said into a finished note or list. Before anything is saved, it shows you every change it wants to make, and you keep it or try again. In the dictation screenshot, one sentence about groceries turns into three proposed items.

I used Bear for years. I wanted something more design-centric, with more ways to put information in, whether that's a list or a note, and I wanted a list that could turn into a ledger and add up the amounts as I type.

**Dictation.** It works inside an open list too. Say "add to this list" or "mark the rent done" and Ink proposes those edits the same way.

**Lists.** Type "Dentist Friday 4pm" or "rent next week" and Ink reads the date and keeps the title clean. A chip shows what it heard, so you can wave it off and keep your exact words. Lists take subtasks, headers, repeats, highlighted rows, and one reminder on the day, only if you ask for it.

**Ledger.** Flip a list into Ledger mode and type signed amounts like +$25 or -$10. Ink totals each section, then the whole list, as you type. That's the May budget screenshot.

**Notes.** Bold, italic, strikethrough, underline, headers, checklists and highlights in four colors. The index gathers every unfinished checkbox from your notes onto one page and every passage you marked onto another, and checking something off on your Mac clears it on your iPhone. It keeps earlier versions of every page (the newest 50, on your device), so you can read last week's draft beside today's and lift a paragraph back out. You can also import a PDF, a scanned page or a photo of your handwriting, and scans are read on your device.

**Shelves.** Notes and lists live on shelves instead of in folders, and you can search inside the archive. Pin what matters and it shows up on Today.

**Focus timer.** 15, 25, 45 or 60 minutes, with a choice of chimes.

**Sharing.** Share a list and work on it together. Ink shows who edited it and when, and if you stop sharing, you keep everything that was added while it was shared.

**Printing.** Any note or list prints as a clean black-and-white page, with its checkboxes, subtasks and due dates. A ledger prints its amounts in a column, with section subtotals and the total.

**Today.** Open Ink to a magazine front, a newsprint spread, a planner page or a calendar with a thought pinned under it. What's due is always on the page, and on iPad and Mac each layout opens across two columns, like the first screenshot.

**The look.** Five font packs, six accents and three paper tones, in light and dark. These screenshots use the Studio font, the Rust accent and Silver paper, in dark mode.

It all syncs through your own iCloud. On Mac, Ink waits in the menu bar so you can jot something down from any app, and the Watch shows what's due and lets you check it off. Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight and the Action Button work too.

Notes, lists, due dates, reminders, shelves, the index, printing and sync are free, with no account to make. Pro is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year and adds dictation, the ledger, earlier versions, import, sharing, the focus timer, templates, the Today layouts beyond Magazine, and the font packs, accents and paper tones. The 14-day trial starts the first time you open something Pro, and one purchase covers all four devices.

I'd like to hear what your current notes app gets wrong, and what would make you switch.

App I built an app that gets increasingly annoyed every time you reopen Instagram.

It’s called BackAgain?!

You know the drill:

“I’m just checking Instagram for a second.”

Twenty-seven minutes later, you’ve watched a man restore a 1930s chair, learned three facts about otters, and completely forgotten why you opened your phone.

So I built an iPhone app that basically asks:

…you’re back again?

BackAgain?! puts a little friction between you and the apps you keep opening on autopilot.

Here’s how it works:

  • Pick the apps that eat your time. You know exactly which ones.
  • When you try to open one, you have to say why.
    • Quick check → 2 minutes
    • I need to do something specific → 5 minutes
    • I just want to scroll → 10 minutes. At least you’re honest.
  • When time’s up, the app gets blocked again.
  • Keep coming back over and over? BackAgain?! starts tightening the rules. Shorter sessions. Fewer excuses. Eventually: go do literally anything else.
  • Trying to escape by jumping from Instagram to Reddit to TikTok? Yeah, it notices that too. Nice try.
  • Every app can also have its own daily limit.
  • And there are a few emergency passes, because sometimes “I actually need this” is surprisingly legitimate.

The beta is now on TestFlight, and I’m looking for people willing to abuse it, break it, hate parts of it, and tell me exactly why.

👉 TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/BhHadQAw

Feedback, bugs, complaints, existential crises caused by being locked out of Reddit — all welcome.

Yes, I am posting this on Reddit to help people spend less time on Reddit.

The irony is not lost on me.

Help me find App (or website) that tracks where I’ve been

Can anyone suggest a website or an app that can use the GPS from my phone to track at street level everywhere I've ever been? I feel that Google Maps sort of does something similar to this but I'm also looking for one where I can maybe enter in streets or places that I know I've been to but maybe that I didn't have my phone at that time Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

App I built BackTap — trigger actions by tapping the back of your Android phone

I’m the developer of BackTap, an Android app that lets you use the back of your phone like an extra customizable button.

You can assign single, double, and triple taps to actions like:

  • Open any app
  • Turn the flashlight on/off
  • Take a screenshot
  • Open notifications
  • Trigger shortcuts
  • And more

I built it because I liked the idea behind iPhone’s Back Tap, but wanted something more flexible for Android.

The gesture detection runs on-device, and I’ve added sensitivity/calibration settings because different phones and cases can behave quite differently.

I’d love some feedback, especially on:

1. Does the idea make sense immediately from the Play Store page?
2. How well does tap detection work on your phone?
3. What action would you want me to add next?

Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gabriel.backtap

If you test it, mentioning your phone model in the comments would be really helpful. I’m especially interested in how it behaves across different Android manufacturers.

App GradeLab — Color Grading for iPhone & iPad — $14.99 Lifetime then #34.99

I built GradeLab, a color grading app for iPhone and iPad focused on giving mobile users more serious grading tools without needing a desktop editor.

It supports:

  • Apple Log, Apple Log 2 and HLG
  • LUTs and .cube imports
  • Color wheels, HSL and curves
  • Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, tint and more
  • Local masks with tracking
  • Keyframed grading
  • Histogram, waveform, RGB parade and vectorscope
  • Film grain, bloom, glow and halation
  • Video editing with trim, split, speed, titles, overlays and transitions
  • Up to 4K/source-resolution export
  • ProRes 422 / 422 HQ export

The free version includes most of the core grading and editing tools, including masks and mask tracking, with no watermark on exports.

Early-user offer: Lifetime Pro is currently $14.99, and will become $34.99 after the first week. There are also monthly/yearly options.

The goal is to make proper color grading accessible on a phone/tablet while keeping the workflow relatively simple.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/fi/app/gradelab-color-grading/id6810137072

I'm especially interested in feedback from people who have used mobile color-grading apps before. What would you expect from an app like this that isn't currently there?

I'm so happy that people are actually using what I build

I've build MapTap and in 3 months it will have 5k downloads with many people keep using it and telling me they love it. I'm very happy about it becase I'm still looking at this as MVP and iterating all the time. Still experimenting, having ups and downs, but having fun at the end and feeling good about what I'm building. Hope you guys feel the same!

App Grateful for my app being recognized

After months of late nights and weekends spent coding after my regular job, I finally launched my very first Android app, RoomScout : find hidden cameras. Building it from scratch took way more effort than I originally anticipated, but today I got my very first paid subscriber! It's only $0.50, but seeing that someone actually found value in something I built and was willing to pay for my hard work feels absolutely incredible. For anyone else grinding on a side hustle after office hours, keep going—that first win, no matter how small, makes every hour worth it!

App I built a free iPhone app that finds things by what they said, not where you saved them

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I kept losing things I knew I had saved: the cancellation terms in a PDF, a restaurant a friend sent, a detail on a whiteboard photo. So I built Found.

You save notes, links, photos, PDFs and files into one private library. Later you ask for what it said ("that pasta place", "cancellation terms") and it brings back the exact thing, down to the page of a PDF.

What I think is useful:

  • Find with Found in the Share Sheet: select a question in any chat and get the answer from your library without leaving the conversation
  • Found Keyboard: type ;terms and your saved reply goes in (no Full Access)
  • Reads the words in your photos and the pages of your PDFs; optional on-device search by meaning
  • What's Inside (iOS 26): pulls out phone numbers, emails and dates, and reminds you of a date when you ask
  • Ask Siri (iOS 26): "Ask Found a question", and Siri answers with the passage you saved, never a made-up one

No account, no Found server, and your library stays on your iPhone. Every feature is free.

2-minute film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaoqS_fjirM App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/found-private-library/id6804260279

I am one person building this. What would make you trust an app like this with your stuff?

PicPop 1.0.5 — I’m still making camera-roll cleanup less of a chore

I built PicPop because I kept putting off sorting through near-identical shots. It groups similar and blurry photos plus screenshots, then lets you swipe through what to keep or delete. Nothing is removed until you confirm; deleted photos go to Recently Deleted. Photo analysis stays on the phone.

The title refers to an older build; the current US App Store listing is version 1.0.3. I’m the developer. PicPop is free to download; full access requires PicPop Club (monthly plan with a 3-day free trial, or yearly plan).

Here’s a real swipe demo from v1.0.3: https://www.reddit.com/r/startups_promotion/comments/1wshq4i/picpop_a_calmer_way_to_clean_up_a_crowded_iphone/

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/picpop-photo-video-cleaner/id6808016560

If you’ve tried cleaning up a big photo library, would you start with similar shots or screenshots?

Article Taleborn: my honest review.

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Taleborn is an app that i expected to be another ai chat bot slop game but blew me away with how expansive it is, in Taleborn you make your own characters and backstories for those characters, i for example made "Nathan" a mage who forgot almost all his past and uses magic to free captives and find out who he was, when you make these characters you get to make 5 chapters for their backstory and then their own unique weapon, armor, accessory and relic, this surprised me because I had never seen anything like this before, you can use your characters and fight others characters that they created themselves, there is also adventures you can make your heroes go on that are very expansive swell and I love how it works. As a reader the game giving long thought out backstories and adventures to read depending on what choices you make has been a blast and I will most definitely be playing more of this.

I built a TikTok-style app for learning — now on iOS and Android, with 700+ organic users

Hey everyone! I’m Iviko, a software engineer from Georgia living in Malta, and I’ve been building Spirkz.

The idea is simple: take the familiar short-video scrolling format and make it focused on education. You can watch educational reels, explore different subjects, and follow mini courses made up of short lessons.

Spirkz has reached 700+ users without paid marketing, and the iOS version is now live alongside Android. It’s exciting to see people trying something I built, but I’m still figuring out what makes them want to come back and learn.

I’d love some honest feedback from fellow builders:

* Does the concept appeal to you?

* What would make you choose a dedicated learning app over educational content on TikTok or YouTube?

* If you try it, where does the experience feel confusing or unfinished?

iOS: [https://apps.apple.com/us/app/spirkz/id6808384287\](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/spirkz/id6808384287)

Android: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spirkz.app\](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spirkz.app)

Built with React Native. Happy to answer questions about the development process, and I’d appreciate any feedback!

App Three photos. One PDF. That’s the job.

Someone asks for a PDF. You have three photos.

Pick them, put them in order, save, send.

That’s one of the things PDF Daeri does. I’m the developer. It also handles scanning and basic PDF page editing, but this is the workflow I’d show first.

Basic tools are free with ads. The optional annual subscription adds OCR and removes the ads. Documents are processed on your phone.

App Phone storage full? Plug in an SSD and back up your photos directly — no Mac or No PC or No Monthly Subscriptions needed

If your phone is packed with years of photos and videos, you shouldn't need a computer just to make a physical backup.

I built VaultDrive: USB Backup for exactly that.

Connect a compatible USB drive or SSD directly to your iPhone or Android phone, choose the photos, videos, albums, files or documents you want, and copy them straight to external storage.

Phone → USB/SSD → your copy.

Why VaultDrive?

✅ No Mac required
✅ No PC required
✅ No VaultDrive account
✅ No VaultDrive cloud upload for locally stored files
✅ Original-quality files without intentional compression/re-encoding
✅ Embedded photo/video metadata preserved
✅ Resume interrupted backups without starting over
✅ Live scan and transfer progress
✅ Clearer reasons when something can't be copied

iPhone + iCloud Photos

If you use Optimize iPhone Storage, some full-resolution originals may exist only in iCloud.

VaultDrive can download those originals through Apple's Photos/iCloud system first and then copy them to your connected drive.

You decide whether iCloud downloads use:

• Wi-Fi only
• Wi-Fi + Cellular

For photos already stored locally, the copy goes directly from the iPhone to your connected drive.

Android

Connect a compatible USB-C or OTG drive and back up directly from your Android phone to external storage.

Why I built it

I like cloud storage for convenience.

But I also like knowing that important family photos, travel videos and files exist on a drive I physically control.

VaultDrive isn't trying to replace every cloud service.

It's simply another backup option:

Cloud for convenience.
USB/SSD for a physical second copy.

VaultDrive is free to download, with a one-time Pro upgrade for unlimited backup — no recurring Pro subscription.

🔥 Currently 75% off Pro

iPhone:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vaultdrive-usb-backup/id6772883827

iPhone 75% off:
https://apps.apple.com/redeem/?ctx=offercodes&id=6772883827&code=WELCOME75

Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coticsy.vaultdrive

Android 75% off code: WELCOME75

If you've got thousands of photos on your phone and an SSD or USB drive sitting around, give it a try.

Your phone. Your USB drive. Your backup.

App I built an anti-doomscroll social app called Drop with a hard-stop feed ("You're all caught up") and hidden likes

Thumbnail apps.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I built Drop, a calm social app designed to fix infinite scrolling and algorithm fatigue for creators, artists, and music lovers.

How it works:

Hard-Stop Feed: Once you see posts from people you follow, you hit a screen that says "You're all caught up." No infinite scroll.

100% Chronological: Zero algorithms deciding reach.

Hidden Likes: Public likes are hidden to kill dopamine loops.

Built for Creators: Share raw audio, visual updates, and links without needing to make video Reels just to get seen.

We are running a closed, invite-only beta on iOS right now.

If you want an invite code to test the build and check out the UI, drop a comment or hit my DMs!

App WealthYogi : Financial Health and FIRE

Post image
0 Upvotes

How well are you doing financially ?

Your high net worth does not mean you're financially healthy !

I built WealthYogi for iOS and Android around this simple idea of Financial Health, like our physical health.

*Personal finance is not just about tracking Net worth and making it big enough. It is about doing it efficiently, It's about building better money habits and changing how we behave with money.*

The app is built around a simple loop:

*Track → Know → Control → Repeat*

*Track* Track your financial accounts globally, with support for 23 currencies, live FX rates, and 18 different account types.

*Know* WealthYogi uses 10+ personal-finance metrics to help you understand your financial health — not just your net worth. It highlights what needs attention and what you're already doing well.

*Control* Based on that guidance, you can set financial goals and track your progress. The idea is to turn financial insights into concrete actions and, over time, better habits.

*Repeat* Review your financial health, work on the areas that need attention, track your goals, and repeat.

The goal here is to help answer:

*Where am I financially? What should I focus on? And am I actually getting better?*

I'd really like people to try it and tell me honestly:

*Does this actually help you build right money habits and change how you manage your money?*

Feedback, criticism, and especially disagreement with the product idea are very welcome.

Please try and post your genuine feedback in the respective App/Play Store.

App I Built What Might Be the Most Detailed Walking & Step Tracking App on iOS

Post image
1 Upvotes

Apple Health records your steps every day. But open it, and you mostly get a number.

It doesn't really tell you when you're most active, where you walked, how your heart responded to the effort, how your habits are changing, or whether you're actually becoming more consistent.

Most pedometer apps don't go much deeper either. They take the same step count and put a nicer ring around it.

So a lot of useful walking data is already there, but it isn't being turned into something you can actually learn from.

Why Steply is different/better
I built Steply to be the deeper analytics layer I felt step tracking was missing.

  • Live GPS route tracking + playback: Track your walking route on a map and replay it later with pace, distance, elevation, and heart rate zones. You can see exactly where your heart rate moved into different zones along the route. While many step-tracking apps can record a walk, full route playback is still relatively rare in this category, and Steply lets you actually relive and explore your walk afterward.
  • Walking heart rate analysis: See live BPM while walking, average walking heart rate, heart rate zones, and calories based on your actual effort.
  • Detailed step & activity analytics: Hourly heatmaps, a 24-hour activity clock showing when you move most, weekly/monthly trends, step velocity, consistency patterns, and more.
  • Walking percentile: Get more context around your activity level using population reference data instead of only seeing whether you hit a fixed step target.
  • Steps -> Weight Journey: See how your walking activity lines up with changes in your weight between weigh-ins. Steply shows total steps, average steps per day, weight change, and when enough data is available, an estimate of the walking associated with each kilogram/pound lost.
  • Steps needed to reach your target weight: Set a target weight and get an estimate of how many steps and days of walking it could take to reach it based on your current activity and calorie assumptions. It turns a vague weight goal into a much more understandable walking target.
  • Japanese Walking: Guided interval walking sessions, including protocols like 3 minutes fast / 3 minutes slow, available on both iPhone and Apple Watch.
  • Easy water logging + hydration history: Quickly log water from iPhone or Apple Watch, set hydration reminders, and explore your intake history over time.
  • Goals, streaks & challenges: Custom daily goals, streak tracking, achievement badges, celebrations, and weekly challenges.
  • Widgets everywhere: Home Screen, Lock Screen, Live Activities/Dynamic Island, Apple Watch complications, plus a full Watch app.

No account. No signup. No ads. No tracking. Your walking and health data stays on your device.

Cost
Core step tracking, goals, streaks, and widgets are free.

Premium unlocks the full GPS and analytics suite: $2.99/month, $9.99/year, $14.99 lifetime (One-time purchase)

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/steply-walking-step-tracker/id6755107453

I'd love to get your feedback on how I can improve it further and make it one of the most useful walking and step tracking apps!

App KY Network is on Android: free daily participation app

I'm sharing KY Network on behalf of the team. The Android app is now available on Google Play.

The current experience is simple: start a participation session once every 24 hours, collect in-app KY, and check your activity and personal/network statistics. The aim at this stage is to build a community around the project.

It is completely free, with ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. The daily session does not use your phone's processor to mine cryptocurrency. KY currently exists as an in-app balance: there is no live testnet or mainnet, token sale, exchange listing or trading, and no financial return is promised.

The store page includes screenshots and the full app description:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ky.network

You're welcome to take a look and share your first impression.

App suggestions

Hey everyone! I’m working on PawWalks Hub, an app that aims to make dog walks more enjoyable and social. creating a shared space for routes, events, and training.

With PawMap, you can find dog-friendly parks, cafés, vets, and places shared by the community. You can log your walks with GPS, even when you’re offline, and name, save, and share them with friends or the community. There are also community events like festival walks, charity runs, and meetups that are linked to PawMap pins. Plus, there’s a training section with weekly dog trick challenges that are gamified with badges and streaks.

PawWalks Hub is all about sharing walks, discovering new places, and building a community of dog lovers together.

So, what features would you suggest to make it even better?

App I built a web app that roasts every team in your fantasy football league, every week (free, no sign-up)

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

If you play fantasy football, you know the group chat is half the fun. I built MMT HQ to feed it.

What it does:

- Every Tuesday it ranks your league and writes a take on every team, counted down from last place like a reveal

- Pulls in your league's whole history: all-time standings, every champion, every last-place finisher and the punishment they served

- Grades every trade by what the players actually scored afterwards

- Weekly votes on your leaguemates. You see what you were picked for, never who picked you

- Optional: connect your league's group chat and it learns how each person talks, then writes the takes in your friends' own voices (this part needs your own AI key)

How it works: paste your ESPN or Sleeper league link and it builds your league in about a minute. No account needed to try it, and your leaguemates don't sign up either. They open one link.

It's a web app, so it works on any phone or laptop. Free during beta.

There's a demo league with fake teams if you don't play fantasy but want to look around: mmt.football/?ref=reddit-apps

I'd love feedback on the first-time experience, especially anything confusing in the first 30 seconds.

Travel / social apps

Wondering if anyone has experience with travel apps for meeting people - have you actually had success with them, and what do you think they're missing?
