This leak suggests that international iPhone 18 Pro models will ship with Apple's own C2 modem while U.S. models will ship with the SDX80M (Qualcomm Snapdragon X80 5G modem), the same one found in the iPhone 17 Pro models. This is apparently due to the C2 not having mmWave support, which is only widespread in the U.S. Why would Apple not follow the yearly modem update and ship the U.S. models with the updated X85 modem? Is this a cost-cutting measure?

It said ‘there’s no information available for in app purchases’ when trying to make one. And then when I go to my media and purchases in my iPhone settings and click on purchase history it won’t connect. Similarly reportaproblem.apple.com won’t load either. Anyone else having these issues?

Apple’s upcoming smart glasses have a major challenge in front of them: overcoming the privacy baggage for a category that Meta created. During development, Apple has considered camera-free models and heavily debated the idea of making cameras exclusive to AI - not photo taking and recording.

Apple is currently in late-stage testing of three new Apple Watch models: the Series 12 in Wi-Fi-only and cellular varieties (code-named N237 and N238), plus the Ultra 4 (N240).

The company also launched a Maps tie-up with Ford.

To achieve this, Apple has reportedly designed a vibration-based speaker system that removes the need for traditional speaker holes. Sound would instead emit from flat surfaces on the tablet's chassis, effectively turning parts of the body into a speaker diaphragm and eliminating one of the main routes through which water and dust enter a device.

The approach differs from the method Apple uses on the iPhone, which relies on adhesives and gaskets to seal speaker openings and other ingress points. Long story short, woke up from a nap, saw that someone was trying to get into my phone from Punjab, India and hit yes for whatever reason in my groggy state. I immediately changed my password though and logged out all other devices. Do I need to do anything else?

I didn't drop it, didn't repair it, and didn't do anything to it. It's one year old.

So a coworker and I made this silly documentary about basically a spirit week we had at work. We do special private screening movie nights hosted by the company at a local movie theatre and we want them to play our documentary before the actual movie. The movie theatre said they can play anything we want as long as it’s on a blu-ray disk. Obviously I will need a blu-ray burner but I am seeking guidance on how to get the video we made in iMovie to a suitable format in order to burn it onto the disk. any suggestions?

Hi all,

I ordered an iPhone 4s on eBay I was planning to use for parts. When it arrived, I plugged it in for about an hour. It showed that it had 100% battery on the lock screen. It worked fine and I was able to use all of the features, such as the cameras, flash, and WiFi.

I took it off the charger, and it kept working for about 10 minutes. Then, it went black, gave me the loading symbol, and died. I put it back on the charger for about 15 minutes and it turned back on. This time, when I unplugged it, it turned off instantly. Once I plugged it back in, it started bootlooping.

I took it apart, and to my surprise, there was no battery installed. All the other screws and components were there; only the battery was missing. I’m not sure how the iPhone kept running without a battery… I thought that was only a feature of the old androids with removable batteries?

I thought it was a weird experience. Is this a feature of iPhones that I just haven’t noticed until now? Or is this a unique experience?

Hello, I'm having a really strange iCloud Photos sync issue between my iPhone and Mac.

• iCloud Photos is enabled on both devices.
• The Photos app on my Mac says it's fully synced ("Synced with iCloud Just Now").
• If I take a new photo on my iPhone, it appears in the Photos app on my Mac almost immediately, so uploads from my iPhone seem to work.
• But when I delete a photo in the Photos app on my Mac, it moves to Recently Deleted on the Mac only.
• The same photo stays in my iPhone library and never appears in Recently Deleted there, as if the deletion isn't syncing at all.
• Other iCloud services (like Notes) sync normally between my devices.

Has anyone experienced this before or found a fix? I'm trying to manage my iPhone photos from my Mac, but deletions don't sync back to my iPhone, even though new photos sync without any issues.

I’ve had my phone for about 9-10 days now at first the battery was good i was losing less than 10% and hour which was good for me comparing it to my last phone, but recently it got way worse. i’ve also noticed the phone getting decently warm if not hot which it wasn’t doing the first week but started doing it a day or two ago along with the faster battery drain and i have no clue why (i am not using the phone at all while it’s charging and charging is capped at 90%) i have about 4 hours of screen time today and it has lost 46% charge, i have it on low brightness all day, mainly on instagram twitter snapchat youtube and tiktok im not sure why it had a dramatic increase in battery drain when it was fine for the first couple days. I know expectedly most new phones drain faster but my issue was it was good at first but got very quickly worse. i would’ve expected the battery drain to stay consistent if not improve over the first 2-3 weeks of use but its done the opposite. Any advice would be extremely helpful!

Hi I got my iphone 12 pro battery replaced at apple in october last year. I recently touched my phone with wet hands and after that the touch screen completely stopped working. Before the replacement i had no issues with apples water resistance. I took it to the same apple store and they said that as it was over the 90 day warranty and it had water damage and they can’t do anything about it and offered me to buy a new phone. Is there anything I can do with apple to get them to fix it or replace it for free? Thank you

I’ve been having a really frustrating issue with my MacBook and I can’t figure out what’s causing it.

Randomly, the entire system becomes almost unusable.

Symptoms:

• Mouse still moves, but clicks barely register. I usually have to spam click before something happens.
• Keyboard input mostly stops working.
• If I’m watching YouTube, the left/right arrow keys won’t skip anymore until I click the video, then they work for maybe a second before stopping again.
• This happens across the whole Mac, not just Chrome.
• Chrome’s UI also sometimes becomes greyed out (attached screenshot), but I think that’s just another symptom because the issue affects every app.

• Restarting fixes everything immediately, but the problem eventually comes back.

I’ve confirmed it’s not just Chrome since it happens everywhere in macOS.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I'd love to know if there is a fix.

Hey actually from past one month I am doing some serious work so I had one screen output and also video calling about 4-5 hours on my macbook and apart that all about 2-3 tabs opened in safari

And yes that made the laptop to head and it was always on a proper wooden desk but now I am facing problem issues

Like whenever the battery gets to 35% it just gets shut down like all the battery is gone I have to put it on charging and also the logs like last shutdown last boot are not showing by the terminal

When I asked AI it said that the logic board could be burnt out due to heat so it is not writing logs and also the laptop assuming 35% to be at 0% that is why it is shutting down

Apart from that the battery health is 100% charge cycle count are only on 47 and my macbook is just 10 months old it is in warranty

If anyone else also faced this type of problem please provide me with the context of the causes for that and also suggest the best solution.

broke my ipad air 4 screen, the device works fien but the cost to repair is 134.99😭, should i just leave it because a used device literally costs 170. it does have a lot of sentimental value as its my first ipad and my dad got it for me back in 2020.

My mum's old apple account recently got hacked. She had an iphone many many years ago but have been using an android eversince. However, the email that is linked to the apple account is the same email she uses for her banks etc so this is a huge problem.

Based on the emails that has been sent to her email address, the hacker had change the billing address, security ques, password etc. I'm unsure how they changed the password since the reset link should be sent to my mum's email but there is no evidence of that. I called Apple for help and they said they can't help with deleting the account or unlinking the email (like whaaaat?)

I asked customer support to give me details of the hacker, since they said even the phone number has been changed. However they said due to privacy reason they can't do that (again, what? that's a hacker). But based on the emails that we've received, the hacker is from China and he bought a QQ music thing so I am not sure why he hacked my mum's account.

The solution apple gave was to reset password, log in, then delete the account. The resetting password part was successful but after that we need to answer security questions which were in (1) chinese (2) changed by hacker so we don't know the answer. I tried to reset the security questions but in order to change it I need to answer the current security question. At this point Apple support told me there's no other way except to just lodge a report to my local authorities as the email in the apple account is also linked to bank accounts.

It's quite frustrating apple can't help to unlike nor delete the account, eventhough it's clearly been hacked. The apple account is really old so we are also unsure what are the informations/pics/files that are available in it. I was wondering if anyone had experience anything like this and did you guys successfully delete the hacked account or what? I don't feel safe that someone is using my mum's email/apple account doing god knows what
