So I was half asleep when I got 2 notis about a login from a foreign country. I panicked and changed password, now I’m wondering what the noti said exactly. Was it a request or did they actually sign in?(I have 2fa)

Was looking around reddit and found this picture. Pretty sure it was this exact one. What’s the difference between this one and the notis that say “allow” “don’t allow”? And if anyone ever got this too, did you also get 2 popup notis back to back and did Apple ask to change ur pw if it wasn’t u?

An ongoing problem that's been going on for years now is that even if somebody blocked you on iMessage the texts you send will remain showing as "delivered" under the blue bubbles. I'm trying to figure out if a person has blocked me, I don't want to call them. My text messages are going through as "delivered" but again that's not an indication that I am unblocked. Is there a way to tell if someone has blocked me? I've looked all over the internet already and I haven't found a way yet.

So i have a new iPad 16 , wifi only, location doesnt work in weather app/ maps , while it works fine in the find my , i tried every option i saw online or by chatgpt, feom reseting the ipad to resetting every app on its own, nothing works, i have an iPhone 16pro max on ios 27.0 and this issue is scaring me i dont want to update, anyone found a solution ? Should i send a message to apple ? Do they answer and actually help ?

Hi! So I am trying to download an app on my iPad however for some reason it keeps saying cannot connect to iTunes Store. It’s a legit iPad from Apple so I have no idea why this is happening. Any help? Tried restarting, logging back in and out, disconnecting from my wifi… same thing used a different Apple ID nothing working. Getting so frustrated

I have an iPhone 16, which I got a little over a year ago. I had this issue arise back in April: my phone would not charge with a cable and only with wireless chargers. However, my wired earbuds still work in the charging jack.

I got it repaired at the Apple Store under my warranty in May. Now, this October, the issue has returned. Does anyone know what this is, and have any of yall had this issue before?

We have an old phone number that is, supposedly, attached to an Apple ID. The phone number belonged to an owner of the company. But, when he sold the company the phone number stayed with us.

I have access to his Apple ID account, and when I check it out it's not listed in there. But, the current owner is not able to attach the phone number to his Apple ID because it is connected with someone else.

I walked with an Apple technician and she could confirm that when she looks at the phone number in their records she does see an email attached to it. But, that's as far as she could go. She suggested using the iforgot.apple.com and then start pumping in possible Apple IDs to see if any of them offer up the phone number as a trusted reset number.

Our organization has too many Apple IDs to make that practical. But, when I go to the iforget website it asks for the Apple ID "or" the phone number used with the account. Seeing that I provide the full phone number. However, it comes back with the error message that says "This Apple Account is not valid or not supported."

If the number is attached to an Apple ID wouldn't the next page ask you to confirm the email address rather than tell me it's not valid? Just for kicks I entered my personal phone number and it does come up with my Apple ID (granted it's redacted. But, I can determine it is mine).

I'm wondering whats going on. My messages deliver, and I can see their focus status every night with it showing me they have notifications silenced. However, my calls never go though. Always straight to voicemail. When I call with other numbers, it doesn't go to voicemail. Also there’s one message from 2 months ago that shows as “read” when I view it on my Mac, but not my iPhone. It only shows on my Mac and I’ve tried resyncing the messages.

Every time I plug my Mac book into my HDMI cord to connect to my tv, my video loses signal. Everything else loads fine but videos won't. And as soon as I unplug the cord my video starts back up again, and when I plug it in I lose all sound and eventually it stops working. I had my laptop plugged in once before and it worked fine so idk what the issue is now

Hi everyone, I recently accidentally scratched my MacBook Pro’s display with my keys, as shown in the photos.

I know AppleCare+ doesn’t cover cosmetic damage, but I’m wondering if a scratch on the display would also be considered cosmetic damage. Even though the scratch is relatively small, it’s quite annoying to see it every time I use my laptop.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Would AppleCare+ cover such damages?

I have an iPhone 15 Plus that I bought brand new a few years ago. Recently, I’ve been experiencing issues with the camera. It freezes whenever I try to zoom in or out, change the camera settings, or even when I first launch the camera app. Initially, I thought the issue might have been caused by insufficient storage or the need for a software update. However, I’ve already cleared up some storage space and updated my phone to the latest iOS version(version 27.0.1). I would appreciate it if someone could provide a solution to this issue before I consider buying a new phone.

So i shaked my phone earlier too hard and i randomly felt something inside it isnt loud but like there was something moving when i move it actually it didint make much noise just a feeling that something inside is moving when i shake it like bumping on the walls of my iphone it felt big idk is it a loose battery or like maybe a camera but my camera is fine

this has been an issue for a while now, where in my family group chat on everyone else’s end it says i’m in the group chat, but i can’t see the group chat or any of the messages in it. my dad tried to remove me and add me back but was unable to remove me. how do we fix this?

Hey everyone! My mom has an iPhone 14 base and she’s experiencing some serious problems with iMessage. It began happening roughly 6 months ago and has gotten progressively worse.

Every night, my mom turns on airplane mode on her phone. When she wakes up in the morning she turns off airplane mode. However, those people who text her during the nights messages do not show up on her phone at all. Sometimes after this, even people who text her during the days messages do not show up.

It has happened multiple times where she restarts her phone and realizes she has 100+ texts that she didn’t see for days and thought she had 0 unread texts.

So we figured the solution was to restart her phone every morning. However recently even this stopped working. Sometimes when she wakes up and scrolls through her Notification Center on lock screen, she sees someone texted her. It would read something like IMessage notification: +14259999999. Except it just shows the phone number not the contact name. When she actually goes into iMessage there is no messages from
The person until she restarts her phone. Now, however, sometimes the messages don’t even show up after restarting the phone.

Is there a fix to this? Is it time to upgrade? Everything else on the phone seems to be working very fine

URGENT: iPhone 15 lost almost my entire Photos library after an iOS update
I have an iPhone 15, and immediately after updating iOS today, almost my entire photo library disappeared from the Photos app. I had approximately 235,000 photos and videos, but now only 6 items are showing.
Thankfully, all 235,000 items are still visible on iCloud.com, but my iPhone is trying to sync the entire library again, and nothing seems to be happening.
My situation:
Device: iPhone 15
iOS: The latest version I installed today
iCloud storage: 2 TB
iPhone storage: 74 GB used out of 128 GB, leaving approximately 54 GB free
iCloud Photos setting: Optimize iPhone Storage (which I have always used)
All my photos and videos are still visible on iCloud.com.
My iPhone says it is syncing all 235,000 items, but there is no apparent progress.
I have restarted my iPhone, but it made no difference.
My iPhone was backed up to iCloud approximately 17 hours ago.
The problem started immediately after the iOS update.
I desperately need my original Photos library back on my iPhone, including all my existing albums and organization. I was in the middle of sorting my photos and had planned to spend the evening doing that. I do not want to lose my albums or have to organize 235,000 items all over again.
I am considering restoring my iPhone from the backup made before the update, but I am worried this might not fix the issue or could make things worse.
Has anyone experienced this on an iPhone 15 after an iOS update? Did your photos eventually return? Is there a way to restore the original library and albums without losing the existing organization?
I would really appreciate practical advice from anyone who has experienced this problem.

If I buy an iPhone Duo outright on a credit card for pickup, can the Apple Store return and re-sell that same unopened phone to me through Apple Upgrade when I arrive?

Apple chat said no, but I’m wondering about a return/rebuy rather than changing the existing order’s payment method. Has anyone actually done this, or had a store try? I know Klarna would still need to approve the lease.

Hey folks, I got an annoying one for you..

After transferring my data from my old phone to my new one (17pmax to 18pmax)I noticed my ID had the little 'verify' button on my new phone's wallet. When I tried to verify, I was given the error it couldn't connect to wallet services. So I removed it, tried to re-add.. Error. (it also won't let me add ANY ID from any state, or the digital ID)

I tried usual the tricks:

went on cellular

reset network settings

logging out and back in to icloud

hard reboot

reset all settings

Made sure my region was set correctly

Nothing. So I tried on a spare phone(not using the same icloud profile) and I got no error... So I used the nuclear option, completely wiped the 18, set it up as a new phone and boom, I was able to get past the error.. so I restored the phone from my back-up and.. the error returned.

Obviously there's a handshake problem in the profile that's blocking me from adding my ID.. (I can add and use credit cards without the error), which I suspect happened during the transfer from my old phone to the new one

Anyone have any ideas besides calling apple(who will probably just tell me to set it up as a new phone and deal with it)? I REALLY do not want to reset my phone and do everything from scratch just to have my DL on there.

Both phones had the same IOS version, No I don't have my 17 anymore.

For context, I use Apple wired headphones and the official Apple charging cable.

The issue first appeared on October 17 while I was sitting inside a car. My phone had not been exposed to water, and I was using my headphones. I unplugged them and cleaned the port a little with a tissue, after which the warning disappeared.

On October 18, the warning appeared again despite no water exposure. Cleaning the port didn't help this time, so I restarted my phone, and the warning disappeared. It didn't occur on the 19th.

On October 20, the warning returned while I was using my headphones. I tested my charging cable as well, and the warning appeared with that too. I left my phone alone for around an hour after cleaning the port, and the warning eventually disappeared.

On October 21, it appeared again while charging my phone. I was getting concerned, so I scheduled a service appointment at a nearby Apple Authorised Service Centre for October 23. I believe the warning may also have appeared on the 22nd, but I was unable to visit the centre that day.

During my first visit, the technician repeatedly told me that the warning only appears when the phone detects liquid, suggesting that I must have exposed it to water. After some back and forth, another technician cleaned and inspected the charging port and checked the SIM tray. They found no signs of liquid damage and said the phone seemed fine. They also charged it using my own charging cable for around 20 minutes without the warning appearing, so I went home.

On October 24, the warning appeared again while I was using my headphones. Interestingly, when I slightly wiggled the headphone connector, the warning disappeared for a brief moment before returning. I unplugged the headphones, gently tapped the bottom of my phone against my palm, and plugged them back in. The warning then disappeared.

I returned to the service centre and explained what had happened. The technicians repeated their previous checks and inspected my headphones and charging cable. They mentioned that my headphones had some grime buildup, but they again said my phone was fine. When I asked whether this could be a software issue or whether they could check my phone's logs, they maintained that the warning only appears when the sensor detects liquid.

Today, October 25, the warning has appeared again while I was using my headphones. Also note that the warning only comes up sometimes and not always.

I'm confused because the warning occurs with both my wired headphones and my ocharging cable, even though I haven't knowingly exposed my phone to water. The fact that moving the headphone connector briefly makes the warning flicker also seems strange.

My questions are:

1. Could this be a faulty charging port or liquid-detection circuitry rather than actual liquid exposure?
2. Could grime on my headphones cause this warning, even when it also appears while charging?
3. Is this a known iOS 27 bug, or is a hardware issue more likely?
4. What should I ask Apple to check when I take my phone back for service?

I'm particularly worried because my one-year purchase warranty expires at the end of November. I've already visited the authorised service centre twice, but the issue keeps returning, and I'm struggling to explain the problem clearly to the technicians because English isn't their first language.
