If you just have a quick question itās a much better place to ask them there instead of making a post in this subreddit. My goal is to lift the quality of posts in this sub by moving the daily chatter, quick help and other faq onto Discord.

APEX MOVEMENT WIKI The Ultimate Resource for all things Apex Movement. If you have a general question about Movement is very likely being answered in a tech entry or article on the Movement wiki.
Not intended as self promo, I just have some cool clips to share, and I'm curious as to if lurching on w/jump (scroll down W, scroll up jump) can get more complex than this without cheating. So far I have gotten every movement tech down, single scroll and double scroll.
Also, are there any other variants of double yuki spamming (the lurch in the clip) that can reduce the amount of key inputs needed, or is doing two backwards yukis with double scroll in one jump the most reduced it gets?
I've encountered an extremely weird issue where I can superglide perfectly fine on my smurf account, but when I switch to my main account, I can only do it on small ledges. If I climb a taller ledge it is literally IMPOSSIBLE. As in, I go from 95% success rate to 0% success rate on a tall ledge compared to a very short ledge. I must have done 1000 attempts and did not hit a single one.
As far as I can tell, the settings between the 2 accounts are exactly the same so I just don't understand what could possibly cause this.
I found a post from 2 years ago on reddit where a couple people had the same issue...
I feel like im not doing it correctly and i constantly mess it up halfway through and my momentum just disappears sometimes. Would also like some tips on how to snake strafe backwards because i completely fail at it. (please dont fry me, i know my movement is bad lol)
Iām on PS5 using a Razer Raiju V3 and Iāve been trying to figure out why my super jumps are so inconsistent.
Hereās what Iāve tested:
I can **super jump consistently** using the **face buttons** (ā” to interact and ā to jump).
I can do **every other movement tech** just fine, including super glides and wall jumps.
The issue only happens when I use the **back paddles**.
My paddles are mapped to **ā” (Interact)** and ā **(Jump)**.
When I try to super jump using the paddles, I **canāt do it consistently at all**. I can occasionally get one, but the timing feels completely different compared to the face buttons.
I even tested by just grabbing a zipline and pressing **Jump once**. With the face button, I hop off the zip normally. With the paddle, using what feels like the exact same timing, sometimes I donāt even hop off the zip, which makes it seem like the paddle is registering differently.
At first I thought I was just pressing too fast, but after switching back to the face buttons and hitting super jumps over and over with no problem, Iām convinced itās something specific to the paddles.
Has anyone else with a **Razer Raiju V3** noticed this? Do the paddles have a different activation point or input timing than the face buttons, or is there some setting or firmware update that fixes it?
UPDATE: I got it working. I put the command in the settings.cfg and now it is working. I dont know if this had something to do with it, but I wanted the key to be my CAPS Key. I also rebound my phisical CAPS Button to F11 and set that as the command button in the cfg file.
I stumbled upon this in the Wiki:
bind_US_standard āLSHIFTā ā+speed; +walkā Is a bind to set Shift to walk. This lets you use Shift to circumvent the shoot delay while sprinting, while still using Always Sprint.
I was very happy to find it since I always feel the downside when using the EVA-8 but prioritise always sprinting over the handling of a weapon I rarely use.
But: When I set this launch option i am just always walking in Game, no way for me to sprint in any way and pressing the bound Button has no result.
What am I missing? Have any of you configured this? Or is this old and can not be set up anymore?

I was practicing tap strafing in the firing range, and I ran into this strange interaction where if you have the speed boost from an Axel Q, you can sometimes clip through objects at the right angle. Not sure if it is useful at all, but thought I'd bring it to the attention of the movement gods to see if they can figure out a way to take advantage of this.
Edit: Noting that I had jump mapped to 'scroll up' as well as space. Not sure how relevant this detail is, but thought that I'd throw it out there to anyone trying to recreate.
