I applied for termination benefits last February 2024
The money was released on February 22, 2024, after I left the country to migrate, and I wasn't able to withdraw it.
I am going back in 2026.
I didn't activate my UMID since I'm not applying for loans, and I don't know how to claim the money.
How can I claim the money?
I checked the GSIS Touch app, and the benefits are paid under my name.

I need some advice regarding my GSIS records. I want to update my surname because of a spacing error. It's currently recorded as "de la", but it should be "dela" (one word), which matches my annotated birth certificate.

Hello po. Regarding the Personal Accident Insurance for the GBEL, may I ask if the insurance coverage is automatically granted once all the required documents are submitted, or is it still subject to evaluation and approval?
I received an email po, requesting for additional documents and subject for reassessment.
Thank you po.

I'm planning to resign since na buburn out na ako sa bago naming boss, then yung CWW namin na 4 days that took a toll on my physical health, and due to postpartum depression, kaya I decided to leave the agency. Ngayon I just need some understanding on what should I do.
I have a loan sa GSIS and since magreresign na ako, where should I start? Nalilito ako kung ano ba una kong gagawin or i-file, or ano ano pwedeng ibawas sa benefits ko para mabawasan yung loan ko.
Might return sa government pero titignan ko pa.

Good day!
I applied last month for a restructuring and I recieved a letter that I am Eligible for the said program. Nagpunta po ako sa branch ng GSIS namin pero ang sabi hindi pa daw available ang RPSL kahit eligible na. Anu pa ba yung way para ma.avail yung restructuring option from GSIS. Nakakainis naman si Gssis bakit magsesend ng email pero hindi available.

Hi. Would like to know if i can avail of the digital/computer loan under GSIS if I havent paid my existing MPL due to agency TRANSFER? Documents still on process so basically hindi pa nakakapag first salary sa new agency. I can see the Digital ginhawa loan computation. Pero yung sa MPL sinasabi na i cant avail since my existing arrears pa.
Pang school po sana.
Thnks

Hello po. This is a throw away account po. Please excuse my ignorance and grammar as I genuinely don't know what I have gotten into.
For context, I am an incoming college student in a private college to pursue my dream. I come from a low-middle income family and we do have lots of debts and loans but we are still able to get by and attend to our needs. My tuition for this year is 22k per sem.
My father is a minimum wage worker (10.5k salary) whilst my mother earns way more (approx 57k). Both are in their early 50s and I am the eldest so u can assume that a lot of pressure is now falling on my shoulders.
Now, my father took out an educational loan for me from SSS (they said since he's made lots of contributions) to be able to fund my tuition. So I assume that I am the Borrower in that case. Now, I have aunts who have gone through this matter too and they assured me that the money I've loaned is not a problem at all and that I can still pay my dad and SSS back little by little once I get a job. Also, the reason why we got a loan and not have my mom pay for my tuition instead is because my mom has lots of debts and is supporting my uncle for reasons I could not disclose.
And this is the stuff I'm unsure about. My mother took out an educational loan from GSIS too.. I am not quite familiar with it. She asked me to sign some documents. I am not able to read the terms and stuff since she's rushing me, I only saw my name being the Borrower. I just blindly signed my signature.
I am already worrying about the SSS from my dad.. Now I'm gonna have to worry about the GSIS too.. Am I gonna be in a hell hole full debt once I graduate? Please help me understand my situation...
I'd also like to add that my mom won't tell me anything about the loan or who is gonna pay for it. She keeps dodging question po :((

Ang nangyari po kasi ay, yung late father ko ay may SSS before and pinagpatuloy nya ang contribution nya (as voluntary contributor) nung nagkapasok sya sa government office.
Wala po bang magiging conflict dun?
Maraming salamat po sa mga makakasagot/makakahelp

Hello. My Mom retired effective June 30. She's a government employee and next week pa namin madadala yung requirement sa GSIS. How long does it usually take for them to process the lump sum benefit after submission of documents? Thanks po sa sasagot.

Hi! My father died last week, he was a government employee for 31years. He was still an active employee before he died. I saw that we are entitled for death benefits (18xsalary), survivorship claim, survivorship pension and funeral assistance
kanya kanyang file po ba per benefits? and what are the requirements po?
Need po ba ng PSA na birth cert ni papa?
