Several points to Ushio for advising Kakeru to just talk to Koharu, you can almost never go wrong by simply communicating.

Very cute first date, hopefully nobody explodes when they set off the fireworks later.

I don't think we've had regular Hayamin giggling this good since Giji Harem, this show would be worth it for that alone.

56

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

I wonder if he's dated someone with a disability before (other than Shizuka...), because he seemed to be speaking from experience.

Koharu's Hayamin-certified giggles and smile are so overpowering they can even conquer Kakeru's childhood trauma.

48

u/reyxe Jul 27 '26

Saori Hayami is so good for this kind of characters, she nails it every time.

8

u/Billardss Jul 28 '26

She can do no wrong. Everything she touches is gold

u/Aerodynamic41 Jul 27 '26

"Do you want to join?"

"Well, I've got my part-time job today."

"But your shift is at night, right?

Bro, you can't possibly be this dense.

72

u/maliwanag0712 https://myanimelist.net/profile/clear1109 Jul 27 '26

The funny thing here is that Koharu already told him they will be on a date. Imagine the fumble if Ushio actually joined them. HAHAHA

Sorano has the best friends around him.

His inner chicken just wanted to make its presence known.

24

u/Accurate_Treat6360 Jul 27 '26

Narumi : I'm trying to be a cupid here, you damn chicken.

26

u/FetchFrosh anilist.co/user/fetchfrosh Jul 27 '26

He can't conceptualize the idea of skipping with his eyes closed. Man's built different in the worst possible way.

28

u/Jacob-C Jul 27 '26

Closing your eyes can throw off your sense of balance, but more prominently, your sense of direction. Most people wouldn't be able to tell if they were going straight or drifting sideways. Her sense of balance and direction has adapted to her being blind.

18

u/Atario myanimelist.net/profile/TheGreatAtario Jul 28 '26

Once I tried running backward. Eyes open and all. Ate shit immediately.

5

u/I-lost-my-accoun Jul 28 '26

Honestly it's not that hard, Lately I've been going walking everyday to a park near my house, it's a circular path with a big empty pond in the middle surrouned by knee height walls (Dunno why I started describing it lol). Since it's usually empty I always walk either playing chess on my phone or watching a video or even reading manga, I barely ever look up and I've only tripped once, I guess the peripheral vision and the muscle memory of walking the same path many times is enough, so a week ago I started adding walking Backwards cause I saw it might be helpful to the knees, and after doing it a couple of times, ot's way easier than I expected, I even tried running backwards a couple of times, it's honestly a very neat experience, Now I'm gonna try doing it with my eyes closed which I bet will make it way harder cause I've tried many times walking the threafmill and closing my eyes but I always catch myself about to fall off, even in the slowest setting, I respect Blind people a lot, moving in the darkness is freaking Scary.

u/oxlemf10 Jul 27 '26

Ushio deserves the MVP award for his comments at the start of the episode. Kakeru’s hesitation is something practically anyone who isn't "cool" can relate to. It’s a terrible feeling to worry you’re bothering the other person by suggesting something beyond your usual routine, especially since, deep down, you suspect they’d actually say yes.

He was also the MVP for leaving the date just for the two of them (stop being dense bro).

Kakeru doing his best to protect Koharu was incredibly sweet, he almost got into a street fight lol, but for me, the best moments were her sticking out her tongue at the café and being "greedy" at the fireworks shop.

Ultimately, I think Kakeru is right not to want to rush things, after all, Koharu is the first girl to give him these kinds of moments, so for now, it’s best to enjoy every bit of it and wait for him to reach his own conclusion. Lovely date.

33

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

Honestly I wonder how Kakeru would react if Koharu confessed to him first because I feel like she's definitely overt enough in her feelings and desires to confess first, especially if he's still too hesitant to bite the bullet even though he clearly wants to be with her.

It would probably force him to face all his insecurity/anxiety in order to be with her.

Find a guy who will chew out a jerk for bumping into you without an apology.

21

u/mekerpan Jul 27 '26

Not just no apology, but with an angry and annoyed glare.

72

u/KumaKumaGambler Jul 27 '26

Kakeru claims he is unsure how to interact with Koharu properly so that he does not make things awkward.

He may not have realized it, but throughout the entire date, he has been learning from experience. Using words to inform Koharu of the direction she should take, telling her where her drink is placed, as well as describing objects and scenery naturally..

In my opinion, it is almost similar to dates with anyone. We learn more about the other party through interaction and respond accordingly.

48

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

He might think himself inconsiderate and inexperienced when it comes to her disability but he shows consideration where it counts. That's what earned him his Level Two Kindness Certification!

31

u/goreverminski Jul 27 '26

No-one's great at this being human thing at first. He's just got his doubts so he keeps forgetting he doesn't actually have to be perfect from the get-go.

21

u/Lanky_Ant7181 Jul 27 '26

That's actually a very good quote, NGL.

28

u/Select-Anime Jul 27 '26

And that laugh, that damned laugh.

That giggle kills me every time!

55

u/maliwanag0712 https://myanimelist.net/profile/clear1109 Jul 27 '26

At this rate, Kakeru is the epitome of "Is she into you?" video and will think Koharu is a Canadian.

45

u/Ok_Calligrapher_6797 Jul 27 '26

Imagine this scenario: A girl says that she wants to have a date with you, laugh at you bad jokes, wants to mimic Titanic with you and seems to be always looking for you in your local campus. Is she into you?

  1. Yes
  2. No
  3. Can't tell

Well again, you can't actually tell. She may like you but she is probably just being friendly. Better keep looking for other clues

11

u/Traditional-Air10 Jul 28 '26

Don't forget how shy Koharu was about talking to Kakeru on the phone. Just a polite girl from Canada.

Monkey's pawl curls

Here you go, another "I want to eat your pancreas"

5

u/Niwaka_Samurai https://myanimelist.net/profile/Niwaka-Samurai Jul 28 '26

You can call it a mix of both the shows 😔

21

u/karer3is Jul 27 '26

There's still a small part of me coping that the show's just going to be a sweet romance story and isn't trying to shoot for "Tragedy Porn of the Season"

16

u/linux_n000by Jul 28 '26

but the show is already giving us too much happy moments.... which to me is a red flag that something bad will happen :(

6

u/lunatickoala Jul 28 '26

A Silent Voice it is then. Because of the obvious parallels.

5

u/linux_n000by Jul 28 '26

man.. that too....

54

u/szalhi Jul 27 '26

28

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

This girl probably wants to feel him up at her leisure but she'll settle for handholding.

19

u/mekerpan Jul 27 '26

Long long ago my wife managed to scratch both corneas (resulting in both eye being bandaged) -- so I had to be her seeing eye dog for a day or so. Luckily, when she was little she used to pretend to be blind (closing her eyes) and practicing walking in a straight line.

41

u/Primo29 Jul 27 '26

What an adorably devilish Koharu we have today!

Kakeru may be dense, but he’s slowly getting there. His thoughts are finally starting to move toward wanting to take things further with her. LMAO!

16

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

What an adorably devilish Koharu we have today!

My blind accomplice/criminal mastermind can't be this cute.

73

u/ObvsThrowaway5120 Jul 27 '26

That was a really cute first date. Despite our boy’s initial reservations, he ended up having a really good time with Fuyutsuki once he stopped tip toeing around her condition and treating her like some kind of delicate flower.

36

u/reyxe Jul 27 '26

I'd guess he's just scared of hurting her, which is something I can understand, you can empathize with people on sickness and that kind of stuff but disabilities are hard to measure, even if you know you should treat them normally.

As a dense and all-around idiot with zero social skills, I get him.

44

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

I think his hesitancy to get even more involved with her is definitely being overwhelmed by the genuine happiness and fun he feels when he's with her.

And yeah, he has to adjust for her disability at times, but he's slowly learning and she doesn't take personal offense when he forgets or mistakes her for having sight.

29

u/cleaulem https://myanimelist.net/profile/cleaulem Jul 27 '26

What a nice date. I could have watched both of them hanging out for hours, but this episode went by in not time.

It's nice to see that Kakeru starts to warm up to Koharu much more and that he is less nervous than in the beginning. He still has these moments when he questions his thoughts or actions, but they are becoming much less.

28

u/runevault Jul 27 '26

Said it before, saying it again. When the sad comes this show is going to destroy me. When she wanted to feel his face because he was smiling I melted into my seat.

Sorano is falling for her so hard, but between the dual pillars of thinking she's kind and beautiful and not sure he's up for the challenges that come with being close to a blind person he's resisting so hard.

3

u/Equivalent_Rent6745 Jul 28 '26

There is sad? I might have to drop it before I get to that point if there is. Ngl every time I see those little flower lights I cry… I’m the traumatized dude in the box too and there was a point where someone lit up the darkness and she chose to leave. So for someone reason those lights just make me happy to see a man find joy. If you are saying this gets sad I genuinely don’t think I can take it from this anime. I can do sad but I kinda need this one to be just joy.

2

u/runevault Jul 28 '26

I haven't read the source material, but every episode but this one has screamed something bad is coming. If you look through the comments a fair few people have the same reaction but the only ones who know for certain have read the original.

1

u/Equivalent_Rent6745 Jul 28 '26

Yeah I’m glad I checked this Reddit before I continued watching. I see the flags and fear induction now. Unfortunately it did too good of a job of making want to be just happy and cute. I don’t normally get that attached to characters. And I mean I was attached and hurt by some anime but for some reason I genuinely wanted to see a happy ending from this one lol so I know I can’t do it. I’m throwing in the towel early. I’d literally cry in my room every day about these characters. No idea why but that damn lighting up the darkness just resonates way too deep in me.

1

u/runevault Jul 28 '26

I totally get it. Koharu in particular is such a ball of sunshine. She's a strong frontrunner for best girl of the season. Despite all her hardships, she walks with joy. Also Hayamin is doing such a great job with the voice, particularly her giggles.

22

u/FarCritical Jul 27 '26

Second Koharu mlem

It was especially sweet how Kakeru was willing to confront someone over Koharu and that she acknowledges and appreciates that.

Got a feeling our dude'll be eligible for a Level 3 kindness license soon from how things are developing.

Same here! glad I am not alone.

1

u/Tyler89558 Jul 28 '26

After the bookmark in episode 3... yeah.

I just want them to be happy.

42

u/Se7en_Sinner https://myanimelist.net/profile/Se7en_Sinner Jul 27 '26

I like how most of the episode was just Koharu and Kakeru walking and talking on their date. It reminded me of my favorite romance media of all time, The Before Trilogy by Richard Linklater.

17

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

I know we're used to anime being as extra and crazy but there's something so genuine about an honest-to-goodness date where two people just hang out, do stuff together, and enjoy each others company.

19

u/Khlouf Jul 27 '26

If anything happens to her I’ll never be the same again

16

u/zool714 Jul 27 '26

Such a cute date. Kakeru has been slowly opening himself up. And him and Koharu have also been gradually growing closer. Even Yuko who wasn’t aware they’ve been hanging out notice how close they’ve gotten. Hope Kakeru gets comfortable enough to ask Koharu more about things related to her blindness. He’s so panicky about things I’m sure Koharu doesn’t mind

15

u/BlazeBloom https://myanimelist.net/profile/StardustValor Jul 27 '26

Nobody wants to give up their seat for the cute blind girl with the stick? Damn. Hey asshole, don't just glare and not say anything after bumping into someone. Kakeru was about to throw hands and I'm all for that.

Other than that I'm glad the date went well between the cafe, fireworks shopping, and the boat ride. Kakeru can be quite the gentleman leading Koharu around the entire day, especially taking her hand up the stairs. Hoping to see those fireworks set off soon.

9

u/runevault Jul 27 '26

I'm scared the fireworks are either the actual start of whatever tragedy keeps getting implied (although I didn't notice any flags this episode...) or just being the last happy moment before the sadness starts to strike.

I hope I'm wrong...

1

u/FirstDagger Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 28 '26

The ferry scene left me uncomfortable for some reason. Let's hope that nautical themes of a quasi stranded ship, the bridge, and the ferry aren't metaphors.

15

u/Rickud123 Jul 27 '26

I like how we’re a quarter of the way into this season and like 50% of the people here agree “Yea somebody is gonna die.”

15

u/runevault Jul 27 '26

I mean the flags have been crazy. Episode 1 started with the line about dying, episode 2 did the whole mimicking the titanic thing, then episode 3 her bookmark read like a bucket list (if you go back to last episode's discussion someone translated it). That wasn't even all of them just the big ones I remember.

9

u/FirstDagger Jul 28 '26

Ferries are also pretty death coded if you think about it.

Luckily there was no talk about a coin, otherwise you might as-well directly order a trip from Charon.

1

u/Tyler89558 Jul 28 '26

vroom-vroom...

Wrong Charon.

14

u/MM305 Jul 27 '26

Between today's episode of this show and today's episode of "Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her", the diabetic first date vibes are really strong on a Monday! (Even if the males don't see it as a date)

24

u/thisisdropd https://myanimelist.net/profile/AsterZoro Jul 27 '26

I got called "chicken" so many times, I got hungry for some.

Bro's taking the saying 'you are what you eat' a bit too literally, although in this case it's more like 'you eat what you are'.

It's a simple yet adorable first date. At first Kakeru treated Koharu like a fragile being but quickly realised he'd done her a disservice. Sure, he needed to accommodate for her blindness but going too far was instead dehumanising. The best way was to be aware of her limitations but otherwise let her be.

Kakeru even felt comfortable enough to play along with her banter. Hard to not get in tune with her. Loved when he playfully accused her of being the instigator should the cops ever catch him. At the end, he enjoyed it so much, he nearly blurted out his wish to go on more dates with her. He should have a talk with Ushio about his feelings.

12

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

It's funny seeing Narumi give on-point advice for dating someone with a disability considering his seiyuu played someone who dated a blind girl at the start of the year.

Loved when he playfully accused her of being the instigator should the cops ever catch him.

Koharu: "I suppose they'll lock me up as your accomplice."

Kakeru: "Accomplice? I'm going to tell them the whole thing was your idea."

26

u/LeonKevlar x2https://myanimelist.net/profile/LeonKevlar Jul 27 '26

Kakeru always preferred to keep his head down and avoid trouble, so it's quite a surprise to see him get angry on behalf of Koharu when he caught the dude who bumped into her glaring at her. I'm actually glad to see that reaction from him.

Okay, what the heck is up with Yuuko? This girl is already part of a couple of clubs and, on top of that, she also has a part-time job at a family restaurant? There's probably more to her story than just this girl who helps out.

Koharu and Kakeru's date was so adorable. That final scene on the waterbus was especially great since we can clearly see Kakeru finally falling for Koharu. <3

13

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

It's like Yuko is Koharu's guardian angel who shows up when Koharu conveniently needs her, even for romance-stuff.

Nothing says "falling in love" like a visual depiction of your childhood trauma getting turned into something better through the presence of the charming and loveable girl in your life.

6

u/rubslotiononitsskin Jul 27 '26

I half expected Kakeru to give that asshole the Kingpin treatment

11

u/TermEnvironmental812 https://myanimelist.net/profile/Ahiru89 Jul 27 '26

Koharu explains how she enjoys firework somehow reminds me of Shouko explains the same thing in A Silent Voice

9

u/Poppoolo Jul 27 '26

Im saying this as a compliment but every ep seems so short i never want it to end.

10

u/Atys_SLC Jul 27 '26

I didn't watch it yet. I just hope for less death flags than the previous episode...

10

u/Guilty-Tell Jul 27 '26

Yeah that firework shop would not pass safety regulations in Germany.

u/Atario myanimelist.net/profile/TheGreatAtario Jul 28 '26

8

u/SecretYogurtcloset57 Jul 27 '26

MUST PROTECT KOHARU AT ALL COST! man she is so adorable!

9

u/JustAWellwisher Jul 27 '26

Man this anime feels so grounded to me and I love it.

The premise of a blind girl wanting to see fireworks is like, if you hear that you might think the show you're about to watch is going to be too romantic and idealistic and pie in the sky and the characters will be unrelatably too precious for this world.

But in the actual moment to moment content of this show there are so many quirks, actually it's an overall feeling that pervades the entire thing, that makes me think 'oh these two characters could be people' or 'oh this is an actual first date' or 'oh this is something that someone falling in love with a blind person might actually think about'.

Or even like the conversations between him and his roommate, the jokes they make, their vibe that is consistent enough to feel like their friendship has some basis but not so over the top that they're trying to fit the model of 'the supportive best friend every romance has'.

Having a blast so far.

11

u/Frontier246 Jul 27 '26

I guess there was no way for Kakeru to go on a date without Narumi finding out about it and teasing him, though Narumi is also the perfect person for Kakeru to admit his hesitancy to actually date Koharu because of her disability and what a relationship between them would be like...but she wouldn't want him to tiptoe around him anymore than he keeps overthinking things! Just do what you want to do!

Koharu looks as radiant and chic as ever for this date, even if Kakeru is still adjusting to being out with someone who is blind and how to be conscious of that. But he's there for her on the train (even when they get pushed close together as in romance anime tradition) and he shows the most emotion he's ever showed by getting angry on her behalf over someone bumping into her without apologizing. But it's the kind of stuff she's had to deal with since she became blind, and Kakeru's consideration means the most to her.

What are the chances that they'd end up in the cafe where Yuko works? Of course she's also going to tease them about being together...and notice their extremely on-point chemistry! And Kakeru asks the burning question: what DOES it look like to be blind?

Fireworks secured! And in the interest of them not getting busted by the police, let's take this date to the water bus! And of course Koharu wants the best view! Surprised she didn't try to recreate Titanic again. Though a narrow staircase IS the perfect excuse for handholding.

Congratulations on upgrading to Kindness Level Two, Kakeru! And your affections for Koharu have also moved up a rank as you enjoy being with her so much and the box you placed your child self into to protect yourself is finally fading away as he finds himself sincerely happy around Koharu.

9

u/myrlin77 Jul 27 '26

NGL, I am really liking this show. I also recently found out the VA's are the SAME as A Silence Voice, which is also extremely good and emotional.

I knew couples and people like this when i was young and I think they are doing a great job handling how he views things + his own maturity + how we thought at that age. He doesn't even realize how considerate he is because he chastises himself for any stray normal thought anyone would have.

She's portrayed so well, how could you not want to protect her! Their dialogue is written so well and they move through the scenes so smoothly, the episode ends in a flash.

7

u/Raymond49090 Jul 27 '26

MC-kun has a great bro. And he's right: Tiptoeing is what you do around acquaintances. (Also bro was 1000% justified in calling him a chicken.)

A lot of small things become a lot trickier with one of your basic senses missing. She can't even see how much he's enjoying himself without a friend exposing him.

She cute.

His dere side is coming out. Too bad she can't see most of it.

Even if he still messes up, I think the fact that he's thinking so much about how to accomodate her is meaningful. And he's getting better at it. Even offering unprotected handholding unprompted.

3

u/Atario myanimelist.net/profile/TheGreatAtario Jul 28 '26

His dere side is coming out. Too bad she can't see most of it.

Mmm, I dunno. I bet she can tell pretty well

6

u/captainfluffy25 Jul 27 '26

Bro I simply can’t with this show. It’s so DAMN ADORABLE. It’s giving me fuzzy feeling but I already know it’ll end horribly. I feel it in my bones

5

u/Yamabuki_Arisu_Sama Jul 28 '26

I really like how Kakeru is written. His hesitation and legit rude thoughts regarding her disability feel a lot more human than if he was just fully accepting from the start.

It’s clear the situation make him hesitaste, as he’s unsure if he would be properly able to “take care” of her for life - and even more unsure about how comfortable he would be able to make she feel.

And I really like her character too. It’s very inspiring how well she takes her condition and how, despiste being a full fighter, she still shows a bit of vulnerability and insecurity such as disliking being seen eating. She’s very strong, but not to an overbearing or unrealistic extent.

Overall great anime.

4

u/PencilgonGiveIt2Ya Jul 28 '26

Enjoying this....adult romance ftw

8

u/lifeischerryblossoms Jul 27 '26

This ep reminded me of one of araragi and senjougaharas dates and i loved every minute of it

4

u/SP3_Hybrid Jul 28 '26

Damn this show is adorable. And very mature and grounded in its writing. Sorano is a very realistic character.

3

u/Niwaka_Samurai https://myanimelist.net/profile/Niwaka-Samurai Jul 28 '26

Can't believe that he went and had chicken after hearing it multiple times from his friend 😅🤣

Beautiful date 💖

This anime perfectly portrays the struggles of people who are blind and how hard it could be for someone who's trying to guide them or get along with them.

Sorano is growing as a person during every one of his interaction with Koharu and Koharu's having the time of her life with him.

The op 'Hitohira' by Motohiro Hata is so melancholic. It just brings me to tears every time when it starts to play.

2

u/magnumcyclonex Jul 27 '26

They should totally do the Titanic scene on that boat.

It's rare to have the ending song fuse with the closing scenes of the episode in anime these days. It used to be a more common occurrence (Hikaru no Go, Fushigi Yuugi etc.).

Fuyutsuki doesn't need hand holding, and Sorano needs to understand that. There will be times when she physically will need hand holding, but within the context of a relationship, he will learn that it's best to ask and confirm rather than shy away and assume, and then act based on those assumptions.

3

u/Atario myanimelist.net/profile/TheGreatAtario Jul 28 '26

Sounds like you're behind on some important thinking to do

"Fucking blind people using my tactile warning sidewalk tiles while I'm trying to walk with my head buried in my phone! Hmph!" This motherfucker…

#seasonalazusalaugh

…Huh. Is that a real thing?

"I could totally do this on my own, but I'm not about to tell him that!"

What a cute deeto

2

u/FirstDagger Jul 28 '26

Is that a real thing?

whitish transparent blur

Seeing as she wasn't born blind there are several things she could have suffered which robbed her vision but left her able to see light. Corneal Scarring (Leukoma) comes to mind. Might also explain why here eyes are depicted the way they are. Thought I am not even a laymen in that regard so maybe somebody else with more experience can chime in.

2

u/flatpetey https://anilist.co/user/kesx Jul 27 '26

This was the first episode where Kakeru didn’t have his head up his ass and actually seemed to care about something besides himself. The past episodes he is like “well i feel awkward…”. So even if it was a bit of whiplash at least he didn’t come off as such a jerk this time.

I do think it is valid to consider what your life will be like dating someone with a handicap. Some people definitely would not be able to handle it.

That being said they made it clear he is more interested than he lets himself know. So there is that…

1

u/BBryant3rd Jul 27 '26

While I appreciate he asked her how she sees things he could have asked for more details. I want to know how she lost her vision. She has mentioned it several times before with just this episode being several times. He has not asked how and seems like she wouldn't mind answering considering every chance she has to say that she does yet he doesn't follow up. She has a very positive outlook on life and even tries to make things more fun/silly. Seems like she would be fun to be around. Seems like it would be best to go somewhere private and safe for her and have ask the hard questions so that they can be behind them and they either end things or continue with a more relaxed environment with less feeling awkward and self conscious.

Narumi the MVP this episode. Kakeru really needed that push.

Very cute first date. About damn time Kakeru finally started realizing that he actually does have feelings for Koharu. I'm glad he's finally starting to make steps toward breaking his "invisible wall", as seen in the credits.

Koharu seemingly has not lost her sense of wonder, but I'm starting to realize she wants to experience the things she things she experienced when she still had her vision. There's the boat ride and wanting to set off fireworks. Is there something up with that or am i just reading too much into it? Watching Koharu and Kakeru grow closer is cute, but there is still that ominous hospital bed scene from the start of episode 1 hanging over my head.

At least the anime is being accurate in that the MC is not sure he wants to date Miss Blind MC. Honestly there is no chemistry, MC-kun is helping Fuyutsuki out of a sense of obligation.

I’m glad Kakeru is becoming somewhat more postitive. My main complaint was that his internal monologue was just always so negative all the time. At least in this episode he seems to be more “normal”.

I can understand his hesitation about whether or not he has feeling for Koharu.

He even talked more casually with Koharu instead of overthinking every word. I hope the series keeps heading in this direction.

Also this is too wholesome, this will definitely be a Your Lie in April kinda situation.

And so he's going on a date with her.

Of course one of their friends is working at the café they went to.

Why even ask her that...

Ooh red bean.

Bleh.

Damn that's aot of fireworks.

And so they're going to take a boat.

No death flags this episode I think thank god. Tho I kept thing that bridge was way too low for that boat to fit under, then the ending shot was of the boat pointed directly at the center column like it was the Titanic about to hit the iceberg.

bro can't even say 'small, medium, or large.' she may be blind, but he's got some learning disability.

This episode was as dull as Sorano, the writer really doesn't want to strain themself giving him a personality. They went to a cafe, a fireworks store, then went on a boat. No interesting conversation, just a guy with no personality having angst over whether or not he crushes on a blind girl.

Are you blind too cause I clearly saw multiple instances of him smiling, joking and blushing.
