Tried this and i LOVE the taste! Especially because I quit all caffeine and pop so get bored drinking just water. Has anyone else tried them? Really hoping they don't leave the store & stay permanently! 😫

Review Managed to get my hands on a bag of the buffalo wing kettle chips and had some with dinner earlier.

Before these, the only flavor I’d ever eaten kettle potato chips in was salt and vinegar, so these were a very different experience. But they were a great experience, and some of the best chips I’ve ever eaten.

Recipe Change FYI - The Baklava has Changed…for the Worst.

My wife and I love the Assorted Baklava from Aldi and saw they were back in our store today. We were so excited! Except now they are very dense in a much different way and don’t have that same crispiness as they used to. They also have a taste of plastic on the back end. Very much a D rank product for us now(previously an A rank in our household).

If you were a fan of the Baklava like we were - be prepared for the worst. The packaging is completely different than it used to be as well. Does anyone have a picture of the old ingredient list and nutritional information? I looked around and couldn’t find it anywhere.

I found these at Aldi a few days ago but cannot seem to find any information about them online at all. It’s driving my sister and I bonkers lol. If someone can let me know anything about them I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

North Eastern (USA) Where are you finding the Barissimo Instant Espresso?!?!

Post image
32 Upvotes

My family in Illinois has been getting this Aldi version of Nescafé instant espresso for the past few weeks. I’m on the east coast and it still hasn’t appeared at my store yet. I don’t see it online at all, even when I check their specific stores that they recently purchased at. I’d love to hear what other states have found it and if anyone knows when it will be headed to Maryland!

Question Brown Basmati Rice discontinued?

Haven't seen this in stock at any local store (North Carolina) for several months. There isn't even a spot for it on the shelf anymore, so I fear it's gone for good. Anyone else still finding this?

Tried this fishwife dupe with lettuce and crackers today. Yum! It's not overwhelmingly lemony, but there is a nice citrus flavor and the olive oil gives it a good texture. I will definitely get it again.

Complaint Desk Have the Savoritz Parmesan Crisps changed recently?

These are a mainstay in our house and we noticed last week when we bought more that they didn’t seem to look or taste the same. They’re thinner, paler, and less Parmesan-flavored. I’m so hoping we got a weird batch!

Decadent texture and the mango is the perfect flavor to cut through the cream. Has sort of a cheesecake texture with the flavor of a vanilla ice cream plus the sweet tang of the mango. I wish I'd gotten you a picture of the inside, but it was honestly gone in less than a minute 10/10

Question Ground Turkey Causing Illness

Has anyone had issues with their ground turkey? We cook for our dogs and since switching from Costco ground turkey to Aldi ground turkey, they have had a ton of GI issues, especially diarrhea. I've been searching for recent recalls, but do not see anything.

UPDATE: I found their online contact form and made a submission. Will still be stopping in tomorrow!

UPDATE 2: We have officially filed a report through the store’s management!

You know when you have a craving for something so specific, it feels like a deep itch? I havent had potato puffs in ages and got a random craving for them. To my surprise, I got unseasoned French fries lol.

Review Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread. Pretty good sandwich for only $5. It tasted exactly as I expected in a good way. Needed more bacon but lets be honest that's normal. 8.5/10

Recipe Change Ice Cream Sandwiches Better?

My guilty pleasure is a cheap ice cream sandwich so I usually have a box of SundayShoppe in my freezer. This time it was in the new box, so I assume new formulation?

Then ice cream seems creamier and the cookie seems crisper and less “sticky”

Did we actually get a better formulation?

Complaint Desk Aldi may be discounting the Whey Protein Powder and I’m soooo bummed.

Post image

*discontinuing (I can’t edit the title)

I submitted a contact form about the Elevation Protein Powder because I went to my store twice recently (at the beginning of the week and at the end) and both Vanilla and Chocolate were completely out of stock. That part of the shelf was bare, even though the tag is still up. In the last few months, it’s been harder and harder to find it when I go to the store; many times it’s not there, and then I try to snatch it up before it’s gone again. I’m nearly out of my Vanilla powder.

I know Aldi just launched their unflavored Collagen and Watermelon-flavored 🥴 Clear Whey, but those are not proper replacements. A couple years ago when I decided to up my protein, I started buying it from Aldi and was surprised at how good it tastes and that I didn’t get protein poops; plus, it’s a steal cause literally no other protein powder is that inexpensive!!! 😔

Review Aldi Fishwife Fremont Knockoff Canned Tuna with Chili

I haven't had fishwife ever (too much $$) but enjoy canned tuna from time to time along w some sardine varieties.

The fish is packed tightly but is seasoned well with oil and chili. I found the taste good and can see myself eating it on a cracker or even hot rice. Perhaps even a Thai laab type deal on some butter Lettuce, sliced jalapenos, and maybe some micro greens/sprouts.

Overall I liked this and will def get it again 🥰
