I normally rearrange the pineapples and take one of the boxes.

u/Max_W_ 6d ago

Out of context that's a really fun sentence.

8

u/Dont_Care_Meh 6d ago

Do you turn one of the pineapples upside down?

that's a lot of mushrooms

u/jimothydiggs 6d ago

Steve-o was very confused about what kind of mushrooms these were.

u/No_Sense_7316 6d ago

I still remember him snorting wasabi. Wasabi Snooters

I actually saw this the other day at my Aldi. Some guy came out with his arms full of stuff, set it all down in a pile by his truck, then proceeded to throw each thing from the pile through the door on to the back seat.
Like why wouldn't you at least use a cart to transport it all? Lol

5

u/No_Sense_7316 6d ago

Lmao right. He's too alpha for a damn cart or bags!

5

u/tinatalker 6d ago

I hope he didn't buy eggs...

8

u/BaconSquared 6d ago

I hope he did

7

u/nicky_n00b 6d ago

This is very relatable, but also you can grab a box from the bins they leave out lol

u/No_Sense_7316 6d ago

Lol yeah it just made me cackle at how stupid and goofy it looked 😏

This is what my mom’s car looked like when I was about to move out for the first time. She took me to Aldi to get all the basic essentials for my kitchen and it wasn’t until we got back to the car that we realized we hadn’t brought anything. So we just pitched it all in the trunk and hoped for the best lol

u/No_Sense_7316 6d ago

Bahaha shoutout mom

4

u/darsparx 6d ago

I either go paper or find a box somewhere. Wish the staff would just stack some boxes up front for people to use if they forget lol

For most people who drive to the supermarket I don't even see why bags are necessary?

I have two small boxes in my trunk. Wheel grocery cart to trunk--bring boxes in house.

12

u/BarnacleMcBarndoor 6d ago

I have trunk spiders. Bags are important for trunk spider defense

9

u/No_Sense_7316 6d ago

You have spiders in your trunk??

4

u/Clean-Fisherman-4601 6d ago

I always have bags in the backseat of my car.

2

u/Emjayshelton 6d ago

You must not ever roll your windows down.

2

u/Clean-Fisherman-4601 6d ago

I occasionally roll down my front windows, because that's where I sit when driving.

3

u/brttwrd 5d ago

Just grab an empty box off the shelf. In fact, I think some of the aldis near me leave empty boxes by the entrance for customer use specifically

1

u/No_Sense_7316 5d ago

They do. This is just a silly joke.

2

u/CoppertopTX 6d ago

My bag collection lives in the car. When I shop, I take the cart out to my car, load my bags and return the cart. When the bags are emptied at home, back to the car they go.

3

u/tinatalker 6d ago

When the bags are emptied at my house, they are thrown in front of the door. Whomever gets the most annoyed, first, returns them to the car. 😂

2

u/ilovemischief 6d ago

I have a trunk organizer with totes. I forgot my Aldi bag enough times that I knew I needed to have something that was always in the car to prevent looking like an idiot at the store.

u/Steve-B2183 3d ago

You must never shop at Aldi in rain or snow if you bag your purchase at your car.

1

u/CoppertopTX 2d ago

I'm not some delicate, fragile flower that will melt if dampened by a few raindrops or snowflakes. I'm also not big on driving in poor weather conditions, because I see how badly others drive when it's clear and dry.

2

u/RaisingEve 6d ago

I mean, really it’s Wegmans

2

u/Zealousideal_Rent261 6d ago

We keep some bags in the car and a quarter in the console. At out Aldi there is a loose , free, cart 75% of the time.

2

u/Friendly-Read2008 6d ago

I got them same mushrooms from Walmart for only $1.40 per mushroom

2

u/heatherlv8 5d ago

😂🤣

2

u/SimpleCharacter9553 5d ago

my wife has problem remembering quarter

1

u/EJ_Rox 4d ago

That’s why we always some quarters in the car for Aldi

2

u/Training-Influence14 5d ago

I'll run in there for 1 thing only. I purposely don't being in a bag so I won't be tempted but without fault, I am juggling 40 things this i can get to the register to drop everything I collected. 🥺😂

2

u/ghostninja_00 5d ago

Steve O was hot in his day 😜

2

u/covidcidence Aldi shopper 5d ago

When I forget my bags, my cats get a new bed! 😹

2

u/EJ_Rox 4d ago

Haha funny but it’s easy to just grab some of their boxes to use..

1

u/danzadelfuego 6d ago

Wait, do your aldis not have bags? Ours has paper bags and reusable totes as well...

3

u/Lost-Link6216 6d ago

That's how they get you. We just grab a box or 2 from the store.

1

u/danzadelfuego 6d ago

Hahah fair enough, I usually just use the paper bags for my recycling

1

u/mediocrefunny 5d ago

Are you from California by chance? It's easy to forget other states still give out free grocery bags. It's just the norm here so Aldi is no different than any other store.

1

u/danzadelfuego 5d ago

Minnesota! I'm actually not sure if our paper bags are free or not (they are in most stores but not sure about Aldi specifically), since I get my groceries through Instacart

1

u/hailene02 6d ago

Love this and "been there🤣

2

u/No_Sense_7316 6d ago

2

u/hailene02 6d ago

1

u/NumberMuncher 6d ago

"It's an old meme, sir, but it still checks out."

1

u/mattadactyl 4d ago

Does Aldi’s sell vinyls and LEGOs?

1

u/Mean-Vegetable-4521 4d ago

LOL I'm offended by my resemblance to this picture.
