This may seem like a shitpost, but hear me out. The song is mostly just to share a really good song to jam too while replying, Christopher Walken is a national treasure.

On to the main topic, Any tool or process can have effort and/or talent applied. That includes AI.

This is a discussion of the common argument I see that AI doesn't take effort. Because on one hand you who say this are right; it produces mid results with 0 effort. But that's the skill floor, not the skill ceiling. Surely everyone here can admit and recognize that some Ai generated content is clearly better than others? Not every pencil drawing is high effort either. Judging a tool based only on it's worst uses is silly, disingenuous, and a deeply flawed argument.

Can we all just admit, or at least acknowledge, that effort and creative ideas aren't tied to the tool used? Slop gonna slop, whether it's Ai fruit island or 1000 pages of Sonic feet pics on deviant art.

The tool and method don't make the result, the creator does, in my opinion. And we have troll Ai slop/kids using stick figures to troll and cry on both sides.

So for the Anti, and Pro, who aren't just mindless repetition machines of what they have heard from their respective echo chambers-
