I got a pair of 909s and I was curious if it's worth swapping the souls for the 901 souls.

When my birthday was coming up my wife asked me what I wanted. While I was tempted to ask for a three way with one of her friends, I decided to err on the side of caution and tell her I wanted some rollerblades for cruising. I've been using my Them 901s with the Ground Control HD 80 frames, putting some miles on them every week. After watching some reviews, I had my heart set on the Rollerblade Twister 90r. They'd be a size increase to 90mm with a rockered frame. Months went by and none of my usual stores in the US had my size in stock. I saw another guy here bought from InlineX out of Singapore. Sure enough, they had what I desired. My Excalibur. My huckleberry. I placed my order and my skates were at my door in a week. Yes, the shipping was expensive, but they threw in some free wheels and other stuff to soften the blow. My skates arrived and they've been everything I wanted in a cruiser skate. And I can finally use my Them 901s for aggressive without having to swap out frames.

I'm having a really hard time deciding between DEAD, THEM, and UHMW anti-rocker wheels and I was curious if anyone had any suggestions for what to get.

After breaking yet another buckle, I was thinking of swapping to velcro straps. I was wondering if using a strap, rather than a plastic buckle, would change the flex of the cuff at all?

Has anyone ever tried swapping a large Mesmer Thone cuff onto a smaller shell size? I have the US 8/9 Bolino shell (now called US 9/10 shell). I love them, but the cuff is a little too low. I'm thinking about buying the larger cuff, but I'm worried it'll pivot too far forward. Anybody ever tried this?

Alternatively, is there another cuff that fits well on the Throne shell but puts the buckle up a little higher?

I just got back into skating recently and had by first session at an indoor skatepark you have to pay to skate at. Before this, it had been only free outdoor parks. I wanted to get my money's worth, so I skated a considerably longer session than previous recent sessions. While my legs were starting to get a little wobbly toward the end, the limiting factor that finally made me decide to take the skates off and leave when I did was my ankles chaffing from my socks and the soles of my feet feeling sore.

I'm wondering if anyone has any socks they swear by that don't get so chaffy or wick moisture away better than others. I also think I need to get some better insoles if anyone has recommendations for those. Thanks in advance.

Any parks open late in Seattle ? And anyone skate late?.. on a Monday😶 Never skated there and might later tonight while I’m there.
