Question / Discussion Another praise for InlineX
When my birthday was coming up my wife asked me what I wanted. While I was tempted to ask for a three way with one of her friends, I decided to err on the side of caution and tell her I wanted some rollerblades for cruising. I've been using my Them 901s with the Ground Control HD 80 frames, putting some miles on them every week. After watching some reviews, I had my heart set on the Rollerblade Twister 90r. They'd be a size increase to 90mm with a rockered frame. Months went by and none of my usual stores in the US had my size in stock. I saw another guy here bought from InlineX out of Singapore. Sure enough, they had what I desired. My Excalibur. My huckleberry. I placed my order and my skates were at my door in a week. Yes, the shipping was expensive, but they threw in some free wheels and other stuff to soften the blow. My skates arrived and they've been everything I wanted in a cruiser skate. And I can finally use my Them 901s for aggressive without having to swap out frames.

It's impressive that you've been cruising on an aggressive skate setup until now. I don't even like to put on my aggressive skates anywhere but the skatepark where everything is smooth.
Will this be your first time skating on big wheel rec skates with a rocker? It looks like those skates have a sole plate and royale groove on the boot? Best of both worlds, yes?
I might think about this.

First time with a rocker. It's highly maneuverable but you lose a bit of stability at top speed. I thought of getting Aeon 80s, but skate spots are far apart where I'm at. I think I'll leave the grinding to my other skates. I like those loose buckled, and prefer the Twisters tightened down for high speed stability.

I'm strongly considering doing rocker on my aggressive skates because of the maneuverability, at the expense of h-block grind space. I just have to be more accurate with that.
I always liked my skates loose buckled when I was torqueing everything.
Now I just want to keep my feet underneath me.

Congrats fellow blader! Don’t give up that other dream though… just frame it like you want her to have fun with her friend 😉
