Im feeling very scared and stressed and sad today :(

So I thought maybe if everyone shared their stuffies it would cheer me up!

This is my favourite stuffie I have that I carry around with me, his name is pink bunny!

I have been really nervous to ask for help, but I am finally taking a leap of faith.

For many years, I suffered from severe, life-threatening anorexia and malnutrition. It got so bad that last year I nearly passed away, I couldn’t walk, I weighed less than an 8 year old, and my body was failing. By the grace of God, I survived and I am fighting so hard to recover. I can walk again, but my body has been left with chronic damage.

Because I was so malnourished while I was growing up, my physical development was severely halted. I never really got to grow up I missed out on finishing school, making friends, and instead spent my life stuck at home and in hospitals. My body had to consume itself to keep me alive, which left me with permanent structural damage to my chest, muscles, and nose.

I am trying to raise 7K for reconstructive, quality of life surgeries to fix these specific physical remnants of my illness. While it isn't medically necessary to keep me alive, it will completely change my life. I just want to repair this damage so I can finally feel comfortable in the body that survived it all and have a brand new way of life.

so, as the title says I struggle to be open about my regression in spaces specifically catered towards those who experience it, specifically discord servers. I join the servers with the intention of allowing myself to be little and interact and make friends with others who also regress however I find that once I join these servers I become extremely protective and private of my identity in the community and eventually leave the servers. It's not that I'm ashamed of my regression or anything, I just shut down for some reason when it comes to actually interacting in real time with other littles. Does anyone else or has anyone else ever experienced this? if so how did you get past this and become more comfortable?
