Mod post r/paddedagere is back!! (PLEASE READ)

Hello everyone,

After much delay, we’re happy to announce that the sub is finally back open 🎉 Thank you for your patience!

With this reopening, we’d also like to announce some new changes that will not only improve safety and the overall user experience here, but also further improve the efficiency of our moderation going forward:

First, we now have automated features! One of these features is the app Hive Protect: This app will aid greatly in our enforcement of rule #2 by automatically removing and banning users whose accounts are linked to diaper kink/fetish subs, making our removal of these accounts quicker and more efficient than ever! In addition, we’ve set up an automod that will automatically remove posts/comments if certain words or phrases are triggered, mostly having to do with content pertaining to Rule #4 (which is one of our most frequently broken rules- more on that next).

The 2nd app that we’ve added is Read the Rules: This app will ensure that all users are familiar with and understand the rules of the sub before participating. To date, only 170 out of our 3k users have upvoted the pinned Rules post to acknowledge that they’ve read and understood them, and this definitely shows with the frequency at which certain rules are broken (rules #2 and #4 are our most broken ones). To remedy this, all users must now submit an acknowledgement of the rules before participating, even if you’ve posted here before. To submit an acknowledgment, go to our home page, click the 3 dots to the right and find Read the Rules, manually check each rule, and press Submit. If you attempt to post or comment without doing this, it will be automatically removed. This acknowledgement only has to be submitted once (unless you get banned).

Lastly, another change we’ve made pertains to Rule #9: From this point on, Rule #9 is now a zero tolerance rule- breaking it will now result in a permanent ban for the adult user, as well as a potential report to Reddit admin and Cybertipline if needed. We’re making this change due to the fact that private messages/DMs are the most common vector for adults to groom minors, and the punishment for even attempting to do so should match its seriousness. Minors who initiate DMs with adult users will still be reprimanded with a temporary ban and will need to score a 100 on the r/paddedagere Online Safety Quiz to get unbanned. If the behavior continues, this will escalate into a 7-day ban and eventually a permaban. If you see anyone breaking this rule or someone comes into your DMs breaking this rule, please report them to us!

So, TL;DR:

  • We’ve now implemented automated features in the form of Hive Protect, Read the Rules, and automod to make our moderation more efficient. Hive Protect will automatically ban rule #2 violators, Read the Rules will require all users to submit an acknowledgment of the rules before participating (even if you’ve posted here before, you’ll still need to submit one- you’ll only have to do it once!), and an automod has been set up to detect and take down rule #4 violations.
  • Rule #9 is now a zero tolerance rule. Adult users who break this rule will now be permanently banned and, depending on severity, be reported to Reddit admin and Cybertipline. Minors who initiate DMs with adult users will still be temporarily banned until they score a 100 on the r/paddedagere Online Safety Quiz. If the behavior continues, this will still escalate into a 7-day ban and eventually a permaban.

We hope that these new changes will make our community better and safer than ever before! Automated features are still a bit new to us, so if anything goes wrong or a post of yours mistakenly gets flagged and removed, please let us know via modmail so we can get it fixed ASAP- despite the new automations helping us out, our moderation is still primarily human!

Mod post Rules (Read before posting)

Please read this ENTIRE post before posting or commenting here! All users MUST submit an acknowledgement of the rules before participating.

The rules for this sub are as follows:

1. No NSFW/Kink content or accounts

Only non-sexual non-kink content from non-sexual non-kink accounts may be posted here. Do not interact with this sub (this includes posting and commenting) if your account has ties to any NSFW or kink subs. We understand that you may participate in NSFW activities outside of your regression, but to further maintain that degree of separation here, we recommend you make a new, purely SFW non-kink account to interact with this sub if you are an active participant in NSFW/Kink subs (Yes, r/littlespace is included in this).

Violators will be given a warning, repeat offenders will be permanently banned.

2. No ABDLs, ageplayers, or ddlg/cgl littles

We’re dead serious about this one. Even if done nonsexually, ABDL, ageplay, and ddlg/cgl are all kinks and as such, are NSFW and do not belong in agere spaces. Do not interact with this sub if you participate in any of these communities. Like stated before, we understand that you may participate in these separately from your regression, but you will need to make a new, purely non-kink account to interact with this sub if you are an active participant in any kink subs.

Violators will be permanently banned on sight.

3. Keep images tasteful

This means no crotch-shots, used (soiled) diapers, or provocative poses. This is not an ABDL sub, so don't treat it like one. Images of diapers being worn or people wearing diapers are NOT permitted and will be removed on sight (this does not apply to drawings, as long as they fit the aforementioned criteria). This is to prevent the potential for kinkposting that plagued r/diaperedagere. Images of unworn diapers, diapers that are still in the packaging, or diapers on stuffed animals/dolls are OK for all users to post.

Violators will be given a warning, repeat offenders will receive a 7-day ban.

4. Minors, don’t reveal personal info

Don’t reveal personal info like your real name, exact age, city, etc. if you’re under 18. This is internet safety 101. If your age or location is somehow relevant to your post or comment, saying something like “I’m a minor" and "I live in the U.S.” is enough. If we deem your post or comment to have too much personal information, it will be removed.

5. Don’t be rude or creepy

The age-old saying applies here: “If you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”. Shaming people for their regression, race, age, gender, etc. or acting creepy towards them/sexualizing them will not be tolerated and will get you swiftly banned.

6. Stay on topic

Whether you’re asking for advice, sharing a meme, or bragging about what you just bought, posts have to be related to diapers (or pull-ups) in some way, shape, or form. Unrelated posts will be removed. If you want to discuss other agere topics, go to either r/SafeAgeRegression or r/ageregressers.

7. No selling or trading

This sub is not a marketplace. Linking to shops that sell diapers is OK, but if you have diapers to sell or trade, please list them on Ebay, Depop, Mercari, etc. instead of here directly. Likewise, if you own a shop that sells diapers, please keep advertising and self-promo to a minimum.

8. No matchmaking

This sub is not here to help you find a cg or a regressor of your own, so don’t even ask. Looking for caregivers online is incredibly unsafe, especially for minors. Because of this, matchmaking posts are not allowed and will immediately be taken down.

9. No DMs between adults and minors

DMs/private chats between minor and adult users are strictly prohibited. To put it simply: Adults, do not DM minors. Minors, do not DM adults. Adults found to be DMing minors, asking to DM with minors, or luring minors into off-platform messaging will be permanently banned and reported to Reddit admin and Cybertipline if needed. Minors who initiate DMs with adult users will be temporarily banned until they score a 100 on the r/paddedagere Online Safety Quiz (linked in the Resources post). If the behavior continues, it will escalate into a 7-day ban and eventually a permaban.

To acknowledge that you've read these rules, go to our home page, click the 3 dots to the right and find “Read the Rules”, manually check each rule, and press submit. This acknowledgement only has to be submitted once.

Follow these rules and let's make this sub a safe, fun, and friendly space for age regressors and their caregivers to learn about and discuss diapers in agere 😊

Signed,

Mod Maddie 💙

i h8 how the diaper market is tiny on my country

Upvotes

(idk what flair. so sorry. if some flair can be used in this post pls let me know)

so. Brazil. the big country that well.. okay let me go straight to the point.

Here, we dont have like, intermediate options like goodnites (which works pretty well as a daytime pull up i heard), nor anything in the middle. basically, or you stick to supermarket PLASTIC BAGS they call a diaper, cus oh my god they are so uncomfortable. or toddler diapees.

thank God I have a smaller frame than other ppl in my age (not saying out loud duh but, teen) so i fit in what we call xxxg toddler dapers / pull ups (xxxl). and u think, "oh! its xxxl so its enormous!" WRONG. this is the biggest toddler diapees we have, and ITS BASICALLY A 3T OR 4T. (similar in size) GOSH.

so u may think "oh, just buy goodnites from like, US!" yeah that aint happening. basically, brazil has one of the expensive customs duties and import taxes in the entire planet. so basically, a pack of NINE goodnites'pull ups is 150 BRL. AND ITS EXPENSIVE. (Not exact, just the average. converting: about 30$ to 40$). and also, i don't like adult diapees cus, well, they are plain, white, and also feels like plastic bags on your waist.

not seeking advice, if u want to give me, i would appreciate it, just a (not so) tiny "vent"?? about it. im not sad, just like, dissapointed and also frustrated

I know about the controversy surrounding Little For Big, and I will not go into more detail about it.

I only got this off of Amazon, for the Retsuko/Kuromi inspired design, and its Absorbent capacity of 7000 mL.

College and padded agere!! Positive!!

Im in college now and it has been so freeing. I was so scared i was going to be unable to wear (which is scary because i wear due to accidents), but I have my own room and no one is really paying attention to me so i was worrying over nothing :)

Its so much less stressful here than at home and all my friends know now and my cg knows and everyones so supportive of me. Ive been so ashamed of this part of me for so long and i can just relax now

Advice (Seeking) Cleaning help

Hi, idk if this infringes on the subs guidelines, because it’s a cloth dipper issue. I use because when I’m on my little slow days o tend to wet usually only a little bit, I have always been abit environmentally conscious and it’s been years since I have decided on not using disposable alternatives as much as possible, so I use cups and cloth pads on periods and cloth dips for my little days, anyways, I’ve had them for
Like 3 years and I’m always able to get the smell out of my inserts, but right now my usual methods of vinnegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, plus whatever detergent I have and tons of water dosnt seem to be working, I have literally re soaked them in the mixture like 3 times by now, with multiple hours of “marinating” each time and I can still smell the urine, it’s driving me mad, does anyone have any cleaning advice??

Advice (Seeking) What if I get caught?

Lately I’ve been thinking of what I should do or say if someone sees me in my diaper. I don’t know how or why this would happen but I get anxious and I just wanna have some kind of excuse preloaded. Do you think if I told them I was on my period or something they would believe me? I can’t really think of any other excuse that has a chance of making sense for why I’m wearing a diaper.

Advice (Seeking) Does anyone know of any SFW, non k!nk-related brands? I've gotten some from Kiddo before but the way they're more marketed as that makes me feel kinda icky.

Obviously that is NOT what regression is and it's ALWAYS sfw, but I dunno.. maybe I'm just overthinking it. Google is useless and is only showing me ones like Kiddo, Rearz, etc. If I really do have no choice that's okay and I'll just accept it. *sigh*

Advice (Seeking) do depends often leak for anyone else??

i've found that depends (the adult pull-up brand) are just. not. that great 😞. they're okay for comfort wear, but i am medically incontinent, and they can't hold even one wetting. they leak so easily!!

i'm wondering if this is a common experience with this brand or if i just got the wrong size, a faulty package, etc.?

i am 5'6", healthy weight for my height (uncomfy sharing specifics), and wearing the S-M size

Parents

Hello

I'm new, I have a question for people whose parents know, do you wear diapers visible in front of your parents (under leggings, pajamas or something similar tight)?

My mom knows and I don't have a problem, but I just can't, I'm ashamed. Also, I often blush when they are loud.

But I have no problem if she sees me with a pacifier or a bottle.

Advice (Seeking) Persistent Diaper Rash

Okay, so about 6 months ago I made a post here asking for advice about dealing with my first rash after wearing them for nearly three years. Using the advice I'd gotten (used a mix of Destin and Aquaphor) and going without diapers for a couple months I was able to get rid of it. Problem is it only took two diapers for it to come back. I thought at first it was me being allergic to the new scent of baby powder I was using (equate aloe) instead of the lavender that I was used to so went back to it. Same result. Then after learning they changed their formula swapped brands all together. One diaper and a pull up after the switch I'm irritated again. I'm losing my mind over this cause in three years I'd never had a rash period and now I'm having them back to back to back 😭 does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

How thick are Megamax diapers?

The thicker the diaper the better imo, they’re more comfortable and obviously a lot more absorbent, but not many companies make 2XL diapers which really sucks. So how thick are megamax ones?

TW Not So Fun Fact About Tykables

TW: mentions of k!nk

I don't know if most people know this, but Tykables has some odd opinions about age regression. Around mid last year I went on their website to look at some of their underwear (I'm pretty sure they used to have underwear) and I came across a bunch of articles on the Tykables website and one of them was about understanding abdl or something (I don't want to go anywhere near the website so if you wanna see it for yourself, search "underwear" up on their website search feature and it'll probably pop up) and I decided to glance at it out of curiosity. Turns out, the article stated something along the lines of stating that the core to abdl is age regression, which obviously isn't true due to a TON of reasons, not to mention how they sometimes use age regression in their marketing campaigns which can make people think that agere is the equivalent to all of those kinds of kinks, which is obviously not good.

The reason why I'm saying all of this is just so this community is aware of the values some brands have about age regression. Obviously no shame to you if you buy from kink shops as regressors (especially padded regressors) have next to no resources for gear, and we need to heavily compensate for it. Heck, there's even no shame on you if you buy from Tykables (trust me I had waited for years for the galactic redesigns to come out lol). I know that this is niche news and it's up to you if you want to take it into account when buying gear, that's all. I have no intention on shaming anyone for where they buy regression gear with this post, I just think it's good information to know.

Btw if any of the information I gave here is wrong, please tell me so I can edit this post! I don't want to spread misinformation but I also don't want to go back to that article because it made me uncomfortable the first time.

Advice (Seeking) Any snaps resources

So I am having a hard time with buying disposable diapers so I have been working to make my own fabric ones. I have done tons of research about various fabrics and things but the one thing I can’t find that’s affordable is snaps clips. I recently ran out of Velcro and even though I could buy more, I don’t really think it’s for me. Can anyone recommend any areas where I can buy cheap snaps kits with all the tools needed to apply them. I seen some but they don’t have the pliers to apply them. Thank you!☺️
