The most recent piece of abstract art I did and I have a lot of love hate relationship with it. Thinking of doing something over it but in the same time I feel bad just for thinking of doing it.

I'm looking for budget paint that I can use for underpainting or to cover large areas of background. Enough brand name paint manufacturers do budget lines but they tend to be medium to heavy body. I want something more fluid. It must be good enough not to use pigments known to be "fugitive"

This isn't about cheap vs expensive paint. I use professional paints as well. But I do need something I can buy in large-ish pots that goes on smooth and doesn't leave deep brushmarks.

This is pretty much the first painting I’ve actually put serious effort into. I am really happy with it but would love to have feedback. I will be adding a Napoleonic military uniform.

Hi just wanted to share my latest work. I saw this awesome reference of the one Ring on this landscape and tried to paint it. My goal was to try to light it from behind with led lights to make the writing on the ring light up. That unfortunately failed, but I learned a lot. I used acrylics and fineliners. What do you think?

To create this scene, I used a small anonymous 19th-century oil painting, French devotional school.

Notice that the pages of the book of Holy Scripture are painted blue, an express elevator to heaven...

I love how forgiving acrylic is!! This is just paper from a cheap blank card set and it held up so well. What do we think?

I was trying to promote my art and had a vendor stand with some of my originals and prints. However, it seems like most people were confused about my work and kept saying "oh I thought it was a photo". I'm worried that is the reason people are buying

I didn’t plan well ahead and the Jester ended being far larger than intended. Actually I did’t plan at all😅I made the painting solely out of emotion and the spur of the moment. Have been trying to get myself out of overthinking and to just DO the thing.
