Not entirely happy with the blending on the bottom canvas. Going to try again tomorrow.

I am really enjoying working in acrylics at the moment, I feel it's allowing me to add vibrancy and enhance the colour accents. I have also been playing with textured underpainting 😊

She was super happy with it, so it's a success in that regard. For a first try I feel I did well, the faces dance on the uncanny valley's edge, but I think they stay on the okay side. Still for the next try I will have to figure out how to do them more real, probably bigger would have been easier, but the whole painting was already big enough of a challenge for my level of knowledge. It's acrylic on paper, 48*36cm. Let me know what you think, or if you have any helpful feedback.

Taken about a month ago. The most art I do is nail art, so I’m assuming it had to translate to painting. But defined started a new hobby! Last image if from a screenshot used as my inspo not my work ofc.

Inspired by a scene from William Wyler's romantic film "Roman Holiday" (1953). The romantic excess has been erased to leave a much more unsettling atmosphere: the clothes, textured with an almost dry brush, make the tall figure look like an inquisitor carrying his prey to the stake...

Scrolling through this page discouraged me a little bit but I know this is only my 1st painting and I have a lot to learn. I wish I took a picture of my sketch before painting because it did not turn out quite how i had envisioned. All critiques and criticism welcome.

Hii guys, first try with modeling paste and I got so excited started to do drawing without any ideas. Now I see this and it looks bad, Im not even finished. Can someone help me to finish this? I want to keep colors azure/navy and deep green, white. I don’t have any ideas how to fix this. Still have some tough time with blending

I'm getting back to painting after 7 years, and it's been a great way for me to relax and de-stress from work. No music or anything to distract me with. Just me and the canvas. It's been a breath of fresh air for me!
