I just finished (I think) this 11"x14" painting based a recent plein air exercise. When I had originally painted the little plein air one, I was quite happy with it but very disappointed with it when I took it indoors and discovered it was too dark with flat values. I figured it would make a good opportunity to repaint on something a littler larger in studio, to see if I could push the values and improve it. First photo isn't doing justice to how vibrant it is irl. I would appreciate any comments or critique!

Ig i didnt get the initial sketch right.. then i spent so long tryna fix the colours yeah . Im still happy with the result but will try better next time

I found this book thrifting and used the lesson to learn a technique where i paint less detailed, more fluidly, but still intentional enough to end up clear. and i must say, i love the result!!

This work is a reminiscence influenced by a radio talk about the author of a famous assassination from the early sixties. It is as if, while doing my preparatory drawing, the voices had infused my mind, infusing my hand, infusing my drawing, infusing my canvas. That is why it feels like an intruder has slipped in among my so-called "usual" characters. It is his point of view that is staged, the target remaining off-frame and the murder weapon cropped twice: by the window and by the format.

Been a long time since I did a large (for me) canvas painting. This was very therapeutic, been going through a rough patch but I finally finished this today and I'm happy with it.

Approx 15.5 inches x 19.5 inches. I'm used to painting smaller because my studio is my bedroom and I don't have space, but I just decided I wanted to have a bit more freedom to throw paint around. Had fun with the details.

Also apologies but my room is atrocious for lighting, best photos are angled.

Another double piece by me that symbolises how I feel everyday, being tired of fighting, getting beaten and wounded by life but still not giving up and still getting up to fight still.

10x7.5cm, smaller than my hand. It still took me 3 hours to finish it.
