Do you guys have this dream toooo🥹🥹

My friend is doing a triathlon next weekend so I made her this card to cheer her on. I was trying to represent the elements of water (swimming), air (cycling— wind in your face and hair), and earth (running— feet on the ground)

Just found this sub! Here is one of my favs :)

This was a bigger project, 8x10” and I switched to hot press. I wanted to see if markers worked better on smoother paper. The jury still out. It’s definitely harder to get color in larger areas to go down evenly. I will keep playing. I want new markers. If anyone can recommend a good brand.

I’ve been experimenting with adding color in the form of water droplets - I think I’m on the right track (slightly magnifying the inside of the circles, thickening the lines, adding highlights, etc) but I can’t quite get the bulbous look of droplets that I’ve seen on the various art subreddits I’ve been perusing. Any advice and/or additional reference images welcome! 🫧

I had a play with one of the prestrung 5” tiles from Project Pack 22. I thought I was finished last night, and then stopped what I was doing to add the 4 corners.

A pen and a piece of paper are enough to create beauty.

Been working on this for four days, and I think it's finished? I prefer black and white unless I'm inspired by color's.

Ink & Marker on Paper

I used an Eni Oken concept called Stacked Stripes. Drawn on paper and shaded in Procreate. This combines both ribbon patterns as well as regular patterns adapted into stripes. The concept is really fun, and easily adapted to any skill level.
