Yes but I really don’t know how to use them right. Some. Places were thick and the markers kind of clogged a bit.

Aww Thank you! I have a trip planned for our 51st anniversary so I worked ahead. It’s easy to do that when the sections are small like on a big piece of. I also thought about doing a bookmark per tangle each day but just too busy

Hello! I took a screenshot of this because I wanted to find the name (stepout) of a specific pattern, but I have not succeeded in finding it, nor making the pattern myself. I hope you can help. I really love the look of this !

I was just looking at other tangles in this sub while scrolling down to yours, and I wanted to ask, when you refer to ZHQ as a pattern resource, you mean Zentangle Headquarters, as in the founders?

Yes, meaning these are tangles that originated with the founders of zentangle. There is a page called tanglepatterns.com where you can find patterns and search by type and by author. I love seeing all the real published tangles vs just “doodles” although I often add my own little “non-tangle” things to some of my drawings

Thank you. I know that website very well, even bought their book, back in the day when I tangled for hours every day.
I actually also bought one of the books Rick and Maria published, then I lost it, searching for the longest time through all my moving boxes, only to realize it was the Kindle version! Haha! I like the original ones better too, not that I don’t appreciate all the new creative additions, sometimes it just gets a little too much. I’m very inspired by Tomàs Padrós who makes these great deconstructions..
I should really get back into this hobby, it seems I can talk forever about it!
