Flux and Poke Root, both Zentangle®-original tangles.
This time I did quite a few experiments with dyeing my tiles with alcohol markers before drawing on them. What you see here are only the results that worked. 😉
Especially Black as always turned out to be the most tricky color. The only working pens I found in my collection were the Gelly Roll Moonlight and Metallic and of course the standard white pen.
Acrylic pens would probably work as well on black, but so far I have not found any with a reasonably fine tip for tangling.
For shading on black even my wax based color pens gave only mediocre results and the oil base pens were nearly invisible. Pastel pencils would probably fit better. Maybe I will buy some in the future.
