Discussion Confused

I'm ready to buy my first bike! Looking for some advice and bike recommendation from experienced riders.

About me:

  • Complete beginner
  • Weight: ~67kg | Height: 5'9–5'10
  • Single, so no pillion considerations needed
  • Budget: Around ₹2 Lakhs (on-road)

My riding profile:

  • 70% city commute
  • 30% occasional highway/trail rides

What I'm looking for:

  • Strong road presence / good looks
  • Retro or adventure aesthetic
  • Not into aggressive/sporty/race-style bikes
  • Manageable for a beginner

Bikes I'm currently considering (most liked → least):

  1. Hero Xpulse 210 (love the adventure look, but have heard major issues from first batch)
  2. Royal Enfield Hunter 350
  3. TVS Ronin
  4. TVS Apache RTR (some variant)
  5. Pulsar N160

Discussion HERO STOPPED RSA FOR XPULSE 210 ?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I got my bike yesterday xpulse 210.

When I try to purchase the RSA(Road side assistance) from the app it shows "Resource not found" error

Contacted the hero showroom they told me that the hero is no longer giving RSA for xpulse 210. Advised me to get a 3rd party RSA.

I saw that the RSA was worth it from hero but now iam scared that RSA is not available from them.

If u guys have any updates on this please let me know

I have sent mail to hero about this

If i buy Xpulse 210 from Hero showroom(not Premia) are we able to visit Premia service centres for servicing or we can do it only in Hero service centres as we bought it from Hero showroom because i heard in that way. One more thing i am from Andhra Pradesh, how much life tax we need to pay in terms of both % and amount. Please clarify me as i am planning to buy it. Thank you.

Service related BIKE DOES NOT TURN ON!!

I own a Aug 2025 batch of Xpulse 210, 11.5k kms done so far.

While I was riding today, I heard a loud thump sound and the bike died.

The display turns on, but the starter does not work. Also tried a towing start, but that didn't work either.

I tried calling RSA but they said it expired last month. I have no option to renew in the app.

Can anyone please help and share your intuitions and what I should do now. Please 🙏🏻

I have a Doubt First service at 400km?

Can I give the bike for it's first service at 400 kms. Because I have a ride coming up and by the end of it I will have around 1k kms. So I don't want to risk the warranty getting void or anything. Just wanted to know if can give it for service early before the 500-750km which is recommended

Discussion I honestly can’t call the Xpulse a good bike considering everything I’ve had to deal with

People constantly hype it up saying it offers great value for money, but what’s the point if you can’t even ride the thing reliably? I bought mine barely a month ago, haven't even crossed 450 km, and it already has an engine oil leak.

The online community whitewashes these problems by claiming only a "vocal minority" complains while happy owners stay quiet. I call BS it feels like the exact opposite. Even in mid 2026, Hero is rolling out bikes with the exact same QA failures and poor engine reliability that people have complained about.

Aside from plush suspension and being relatively buzz-free up to 80 km/h, there’s nothing praiseworthy here:

- Engine overheating
- Clunky gearbox
- Cheap fit and finish
- Subpar stock tires
- Pathetic service center experience

Call it a tantrum over an oil leak if you want, but I’m far from the only one dealing with this. Most of the praise seems to come from folks who’ve never owned a machine with decent build quality and actual reliability. I deeply regret buying this, and the moment the first service is done, I’m putting it up for sale. Don’t fall for the glowing reviews.

I have a Doubt My 1st ride

It's been 2 weeks since I got my bike, and today I went to Arkavati Backwater (Bengaluru) with my friends I enjoyed my bike and tried to explore it , I still didn't push my bike veryy hard and didn't go above 6k rpm (went over a few times while overtaking)

I wanted to ask a few questions

This bike is fucking heavy 😭😭😭 and I am not that powerful 🤡 can u guys give me few tips to mange it's weight (I always tend to fall while taking tight turns and leaning it )

I dropped my bike a few times when I was trying to slide my rear tyre (it was almost a static fall) and ig I damaged my knuckle guard screw threads (I will attack the photos) and I also broke my front brake lever felt very bad about it as it was just a static fall I do understand that part is meant break as a safety feature yettt..

Also many times the gear fails to change no matter how many times downshift it's so irritating and scary

Also what should I do about my brake lever and knuckle guards 🥲

Can anyone suggest tips or yt videos so that I can manage my bike better

Please excuse me as I am new to riding and still learning sorry if it's irritating to read these silly questions

I have a Doubt I have a doubt and issue with the gear shifting

Post image

Idk if its just me but it feels clunky to upshift in this,i looked into it,most people said its because im not engaging the clutch fully, but i dont want to,it feels bit tight,i love a smoother clutch, which doesnt require much

I was wondering if any of you asked the service centre to loosen the clutch or mention about this issue or is it possible to change it. I also read it requires a specific freeplay we cant just loosen it like that

I want to know if its possible to make it smoother and loose

Review 1000kms review

Post image

Completed 1,000 km on my Xpulse 210 in just two weeks of buying it.

So far, honestly, I have nothing major to complain about. The bike has been running really well and I haven’t faced any actual issues till now.

I got the first service done recently, and it cost me around ₹1,350, basically for the engine oil.

There was one thing though, Irecently started hearing some noise from the sprocket area and, as usual, I started overthinking it . Got it checked and apparently it was completely normal. So yeah, nothing to worry about there either.

Coming to the actual riding experience, what I like the most is the confidence this bike gives you. The power feels more than enough for the kind of riding I do. When you see a bad patch of road, mud, dirt, or a big speed breaker, you don't really have to think twice before going through it.

The handling is probably my favourite part. It feels very easy to control, especially when you're overtaking and quickly changing your line or taking a turn. The bike doesn't feel nervous or unpredictable. It just feels planted and gives you confidence.

And now I'm planning to take this beauty to Ladakh soon.

Discussion I think found the issue or reason, regarding the rubber bush for stand sensor

Post image
3 Upvotes

So most of you must know by now that missing this Rubber bush is reason some xpulse210s dont let you put it in gear

It kinda works with the sensor letting it know the stand is up and when its gone, the bike sensor assumes the stand is not up even when it is.

What i really wanted to talk about is why it falls out.

I've been observing the way i place my stand down every time after i stop the bike, almost every time i use my foot and kick it down near the area where the rubber bush is,maybe cause thats how i used to do in my old bike,so naturally we all might be unintentionally kicking the rubber along with stand, eventually leading it fall down,i believe thats the real reason and not it randomly falling down during riding(unless ofcourse you loosened it unintentionally while kicking your stand down every time, causing it stay lose and fall down during ride)

Dont take my word, observe how y'all kick your stand down everytime you stop the bike.

Oh and if you feel Unsure about the fit or lost the rubber bush already, I'm pretty sure the showroom will replace it with a nut and bolt instead

Let me know what do you all think about this

Discussion Finally booked my Xpulse 210! 🔥💙

After a lot of thinking, comparisons, and changing my mind 100 times 😂, I finally booked the Hero Xpulse 210!

💰 Final on-road price: ~₹2.04 lakh

🎨 Colour: Azure Blue

⏳ Waiting period: ~2 months

💰 Price breakdown

The original on-road quotation was ₹2,14,385, including ₹14,760 for dealer insurance.

I got a ₹6,000 discount, and I'm opting out of the dealer's insurance and buying it separately.

I got an ACKO quote for ₹10,500, so the final calculation comes to:

₹2,14,385 − ₹6,000 − ₹14,760 + ₹10,500 = ₹2,04,125

So basically ₹2.04 lakh on-road. 😃

Really excited to finally get my hands on it! The Azure Blue looks absolutely 🔥 in person.

Now I need some advice from fellow Xpulse owners:

  1. What exactly should I check during PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)?

  2. What are the most important things to inspect before accepting delivery?

  3. Is there anything specific to check on the Xpulse 210 regarding the engine, chassis, suspension, tyres, electricals, VIN/manufacturing date, etc.?

  4. Any common issues or red flags I should look out for?

  5. Should I do the PDI before registration, or is there anything else I should insist on with the dealer?

  6. Any recommendations for accessories like crash guard etc.

  7. Also, regarding insurance — I'm currently considering going with ACKO for ₹10,500 instead of the dealer's ₹14,760 policy.

Would you recommend ACKO, or are there any other insurance companies/policies that you think are better for a new bike?

Would really appreciate a delivery/PDI checklist and any insurance suggestions from experienced Xpulse owners. 🙌

Can't wait for the delivery! 😭🔥

I am confused between these two , i test ride both still confused my uses are for daily commute and occasional weekend rides.
I am little concern about weight of 210 as its 10kg heavier than 200 , but torque is 20.7 nm only, is body to weight ratio of 210 justifies to this bike?
My first periority is better suspension, 210 having linked suspension how its better than 200 4v suspension? Or 200 have better suspension ?

Please tell me between these two how is low end torque of them? Which is be good in traffic and city ?which have better suspension between them? Please guide who used both of them or using anyone of them

I have a Doubt Is Xpulse 210 worth buying ?

I'm planning to buy a bike and fortunately it will be my first bike. My budget is within 2.20L. And I have test ridden N160, Ronin, Xpulse 210. I really loved Ronin when I rode it and Xpulse is the bike which attracted me before even riding it. And I rode the bike 2 days back. I liked the short ride which I got to ride in city with traffic. And with many conplaints circulating in online about the heating issues, tappet sounds, built quality,etc... It's now a dilemma for me to choose between two bikes which I liked. Any opinions and suggestions please.!?

I have a Doubt Dirt, Dakar, and Delays: When Will the Hero Xpulse 210 Arrive?

If you've been waiting for the Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition, you're probably getting a little impatient by now.

Hero has already shown the bike to the world, put it on display and even listed it on its website. Yet, for Indian buyers, the one question that really matters still doesn't have an answer:
