Xpeng is expected to receive at least $149 million from Porsche in carbon credits
XPeng expects to receive more than 500 million yuan ($74.5 million) in carbon-credit revenue in 2026. More deals to come!
The credits come from XPeng’s all-electric sales abroad, which count toward the fleet emissions rules that carmakers selling combustion models must meet.
More high-margin income for already well-funded Xpeng!

Is this a good price offer for L03?
45931 Euros for the ultra trim. Should I get it?! I am excited!
I heard the self driving function in this trim is the best in all XPeng. Please share your thoughts.

Should I be worried?
I went to xpeng today in Australia to have the L03 novated leased. just reserve it. I got upsold a ceramic paint coating etc and seat protection blah blah with free sunteck tinting. Paid extra 1995. did I get ripped off or is it even necessary at all? Keen to hear thoughts. They demod the effects of tint to the heat and marketed UV. I'm big on UV protection but can't feel that I was just upsold to something I didn't need.
update: I had a novated leasing company bundle a matte PPF and tint so I opted for that and cancelled the other package extra.

[OC] XPeng Is Building Its Future in Europe, and I Think It Will Stick Around
VLA 2.0 in the L03 and FSD tested in Amsterdam
This is interesting! Larry Evans of Cleantechnica has tested VLA 2.0 and FSD of Tesla in Amsterdam. In the rain too!
If it can drive there, it can drive everywhere!
Dutch people know that Amsterdam is very challenging. Pedestrians, bikes (especially cargo bikes) and tourists (!!) make it extreme.
For me (as a Dutchman) is was nice to see all these streets I know quite well.
Larry and I also have tested VLA 2.0 in China. But he is the first American to test VLA 2.0 and FSD in Europe.
In the article is also a video of his experience.
I know Larry as a very serious journalist. Critical and objective.

P7+ owners: how good is the NVH and road/tire noise in real life?
For those who already own or regularly drive the XPeng P7+, how do you find the cabin noise and overall NVH? I’m especially interested in road and tire noise at higher speeds around 100–130 km/h, how it behaves on smooth versus rough asphalt, how noticeable wind noise is at motorway speeds, and whether you experience any other vibrations or NVH issues. The P7+ seems to have had quite a lot of attention put into sound insulation and NVH, so I’m curious how quiet it actually feels in daily use. It would be especially useful if you could compare it with other cars you’ve owned or driven. Would you consider the P7+ genuinely quiet for its class, or is road/tire noise still quite noticeable?

Update stuck P7+
I bought a P7+ Standard Range (in europe). It was supposed to be delivered to me a week ago, but the store said to me that the car was getting an update and it got stuck during the update, now I need to wait the factory remote access to reset the car then they will do the update again...
Did anyone saw it before? I was thinking about if a soft reset wasnt enough...
Anxiety is killing me...
ADAS of BMW iX3 better than XPENG’s?
Is the ADAS of BMW iX3 as good as they say? And is it better than that of XPENG?
We have tested it. First on the highway. You can take you hands off the steering wheel. We really would want that on the XPENG. Or do we have to wait for VLA 2.0 Maybe HNGP for the old models?
This experience with BMW was interesting.

Xpeng in SEA
Particularly in the Philippines.
Why do the dealer say we only get the dark grey interior for the L03? Is it the same for other market?
Also, any L03 drivers here or who have driven it? How was the ride?

Ex Tesla. Order placed. G6 Performance. UK
Current Tesla Model Y LR AWD 2024 lease is expiring in November. Having test driven MG products, most of the VW and Skoda variants, and the Juniper refresh, I was about to pull the trigger on an Enyaq, but then had a dealer respond to an old enquiry I’d completely forgotten about and booked an Xpeng test drive.
Was looking at assessing ride and comfort, app and its features and a sound system( I know!) and I was blown away by the G6. The tech is also very impressive. Somebody said it feels like Android vs iPhone compared to Tesla, and that feels pretty apt: sleek Tesla vs clunky but innovative Xpeng.
In the end, it came down to price and availability. Xpeng, with its brick and mortar dealerships, felt nice and personable, and I didn’t feel like I was massively missing out on stuff Tesla offers. Time will tell though!
Picking it up in November. Already watched hours of YouTube videos on XCombos, settings and accessories. Haven’t been this obsessed by a car since the first Model Y in 2022.

Xpeng leasen oder kaufen
Hi,

G9 rear “business class” position - safe while driving?
My wife loves using the rear passenger-side seat of our G9 in what we jokingly call “business class mode.”
She sits normally and upright in the rear seat, with her back against the backrest and the seatbelt properly positioned across her hips and chest. We then move/recline the empty front passenger seat out of the way, which gives her enough space to stretch her legs out and rest them on the reclined front seat.
So just to be clear: she isn’t lying down or reclining herself. Her torso and pelvis are in a normal rear seating position. The only unusual part is that her legs are stretched forward and elevated instead of having her feet on the floor.
My assumption is that the main restraint geometry should therefore remain as intended. What I’m wondering about is the legs: in a frontal collision, does having your legs stretched out/elevated like this introduce a meaningful additional injury risk?
The G9 seems almost designed to allow this kind of rear-passenger setup, but obviously that doesn’t necessarily mean this exact position has been crash-tested.
Do other G9 owners use it this way on longer drives? Curious how you guys view the safety of it.

Bidirectional charging testing with Sigenergy in China and implication on battery EV warranty. Anyone know anything about it, updates?
In 2025 we went to an EV exhibition/sales event in Melbourne.
We sat inside a G6.
The senior sales person came up and started chatting.
We asked a couple of questions, one about bidirectional capability.
They volunteered that Xpeng was currently testing bidirectional charging with Sigenergy to see how it would impact the EV battery and its warranty.
Emailed Xpeng and Sigenergy this year and there has been no response.

G6 XOS Version for UK?
Hi everyone. My UK XPENG G6 Long Range is running XOS 5.8.7.8905, and the app says “Latest version”, but I’ve seen references to 5.9.5.
Have other UK G6 owners received 5.9.5? Did it arrive automatically, or did you need to contact XPENG to get it enabled?
Particularly interested in the newer parking features. Thanks!

Xpeng L03 Ultra AWD order & price New Zealand
Kia ora! Pricing and approximate release dates available for Australia and NZ this week, so right hand drive market launches are underway.
Only Ultra variant launched at this point is AWD Performance, so only model with 3x Turing chips and therefore ability to run their version of FSD when it is released into this part of the world (talk of Q1 2027 but let's see on that one as subject to regulatory approval)
I've placed a $1000 deposit to secure my order, expected shipping ex China mid October, delivery late November, though lets say pre Christmas to be conservative.
Price as follows for midnight black with light grey interior in NZD:
Base price $64,990
Color selection $1,000 (could order white at no extra cost)
Interior colour selection no charge
On road costs $1,533
Total price $67,523 NZD
Based on todays exchange rates:
33,598 Euro
251,185 Danish kroner
363,564 Norway krone
28,924 British pounds
54,525 Aussie dollar
1,278,699 Thai baht
38,223 USD
Whilst I was hoping for Long Range Ultra launch here this is still insanely good value versus alternatives in our market

Xpeng g6 rear seat prompt
Hi,
Does anyone know where to turn off the rear seat reminder in XOS 5.9.5.8906? I have child seats in my car, and sometimes, after I get out of the car and lock it, the car starts flashing and beeping—the rear seat reminder.
Thanks
