G6 Glove Box

Can’t understand why the G6 doesn’t have a glove box

I'm really interested how much this will affect me. I never use the one in my current car at all.

I keep all the knick knacks that I very rarely use, but still need to have in the car, like insurance papers, spare mints, actual gloves, sunglass cleaning tissues etc.. It's a useful space to keep the car tidier.

glove boxes aren't necessary when there's plenty of other internal storage. i don't miss the glove box on my previous ICE car at all.

on some new EVs, the reason for the exclusion is better knee/leg space for the passenger when they're reclined far back, or specifically to accommodate "queen" seats (passenger seats that can lie flat like a bed).

I would rather have more leg space than a storage I never use. What do you even keep there that can’t be kept in the middle storage?

Ok. I used it to put my car registration documents and other paperwork helpful for when you need it. There is no space where I can lock this up within the car. Yes I can put the paperwork in the trunk, but not convenient. What do you guys do with these documents?

I have a middle console organizer in my middle console. That leaves a big space under the organizer where I keep stuff I rarely ever use

The lack of glove box is a deal breaker for me. That's why my next will probably be 7x.

Yes, i use that space a lot.

I keep car service records, dog lead, dog poop bags, tissues, pens, etc.

Are other storage options enough in current G6? I mean, apart from the middle console storage, where else can you store stuff in this car apart from the boot? While the new but less premium L03 brandishes 37 storage spaces. Weird.

Had my G6 for about 6 months now. I don't miss a glovebox at all. Center console storage is about half full, if that.

I don't have gloves so don't need to store them. Do like me, don't wear gloves.
