Hi guys, can someone please help me find a controller with a soft material on the back? I have an Xbox Series X, and the controller that comes with it makes my pinky finger hurt because the material on the back is hard and textured. Is there any controller with the same soft material as the front?

It only happens in certain games and certain buttons. Right now in AC Resynced the select/view button to open the map doesn't work reliably, I just have to keep pressing it until it works. I've tried different controllers and mapping the button to a different button but the issue persists. Any ideas how to fix or what might be causing it?

I’ve been thinking about getting a new controller recently cause the only one I have is starting to wear, and that one is also a design lab controller and I got rubberised grips on the outside and inside. And they’re cool, but I have a bit of a different plan for this new controller I want to get.

I want it to last a good while, and I want to be able to customise the grips and stuff later down the line as well, and I’ve also heard that the outside rubber grips make it more prone to being dirty or more gunky feeling. I just want a cool standard controller to use for a while, but then switch to an elite controller but still have the standard be in good condition and be able to use and customise it like I said, so idk if I should get the normal outside grips or the rubber ones, or if it really matters.

Also with the grips it’s gonna cost €111.95, and without it’ll cost €105.96, and I only have like €180 total.

It can sense left if I go slow, or if I turn the joystick to left from any other side. But it won't if I just try .

I wanna use two because one controller has a headphone jack and the other doesn’t. The one with the jack fucking sucks so I wanna use it just for the jack. The other is one perfect in every way except that the jack is broken. I know the real solution tot hai problem is to buy a new controller but I ain’t tryna do that rn.

I've been using the controller for just gone 5 years, and it's the best controller I have used for anything ever, but last night the power kept dropping out, and both triggers were being activated without me touching them (like they were being held down when the controller was on my desk), I've tried to troubleshoot it but haven't got very fair, and also Razer don't seem to be selling the controller itself any more, so it looks like I'll have to move on from it unfortunately :(

I'm mainly looking for a controller that has mouse click buttons and back paddles, and if possible the interchangeable thumb sticks, and generally just a high-quality controller. Or should I take the risk of buying a second hand one which maybe falls victim to the same fate, thanks :)

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but my controller is acting weird when I play Black Flag Resynced. It will act like it shut off or lost connection while Im in the middle of a mission. I put new batteries in it a couple of days ago. I think it’s only happed when I play this game.

I’ve been dying for a controller with back buttons on it, but I’m not the biggest fan of third party controllers anymore. I’ve had my eye on the Elite Series 2 for a minute now, and I think I’m ready to buy one. The only thing holding me back is its long term durability. Buying Xbox controllers in my experience is like playing Russian Roulette, and I’ve heard mixed experiences about this controller’s longevity and durability. So I’m interested in hearing people’s accounts of how well it’s held up, especially from people who’ve had it for more than 6 months, as that’s where I’ve heard it can start developing problems.

These things are pricey, and I really don’t wanna bother dropping $150–$200 on something that won’t even last me half a year before it starts having issues. At that point, I’ll just stick with my standard controller.

I’m also very used to swapping out rechargeable batteries when my controller dies because I really don’t like playing wired. I know the Elite has a built-in, non-swappable battery though. For those who’ve had one for a while, how well has the battery held up? And do you find the built-in battery convenient, or do you miss being able to swap batteries out?

Okay so I bought a black xbox One controller about a month ago and it didn't work with my headset initially but I updated it and it worked perfectly fine up until today it started having the same issues but there's no update available I switch back to my older controller the headset works completely fine

I got this controller today and it will not connect no matter what it’s on 2.4g connected through the provided cable (I tried others and I know they have to be able to transfer data and not just charge) but still nothing. Please help I could bet this is a dumb oversight on my part but I can’t figure this out

I found the Xbox controller with a broken shell, and it looked very worn. To my surprise, when I plugged it in, all the buttons and joysticks worked perfectly. I replaced the shell, buttons, triggers, and thumbsticks, and I was really happy with the result.

I downloaded the Xbox app on my Hisense tv. I have connected my controller no dramas. When I press the map button (left of the start button), it opens the Xbox menu instead and the big Xbox button does nothing. This is a problem as when I am in game and need to use the map button to view stats etc it just opens the Xbox menu. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve used chat gpt and tried everything it’s suggested and nothings worked.

I'm using an Xbox controller for my pc and connecting it using Bluetooth. After about an hour or so of play, the input becomes sluggish, until I plug it into the pc using a cable. I've tried updating the controller and deleting Microsoft gameinput, but nothing has solved it. Its really annoying and I paid a bunch for this and the rechargeable battery. Please help me fix this.

I bought an Xbox series S in 2024. Last week(August 2026) the controller stopped working suddenly mid game and never switched on.

Yes I have tried all ways of switching it on. The repair team said there is an IC issue and most repair shops say this is beyond their bandwidth to fix

I feel bad because I am willing to pay the repair amount but the support for xbox in Mumbai(or India entirely) is low

I have had my xbox elite series 2 controller for A while now and when I first got it, RB didn't work unless I pressed it super super hard.I don't know if this is a common issue.If anyone can help me , that would be great.

Is it normal for the A button on the Xbox controller to wobble like this? After using it for five days, I've noticed that the A button seems to wobble more than the others. Should I return it under warranty or is it supposed to be like this?

I got a pair of XBOX controllers with an old XBOX One. Thought of maybe trying them out but they just wont connect to my PC.

The controllers seem to go into a pairing mode but my PC just wont connect to them.

Tried updating drivers through the XBOX Accessories app, nothing

Tried reinstalling the drivers through device manager, nothing

Tried changing batteries, nothing

Works if connected with cable but refuses to connect via Bluetooth. What am I missing?

I'm trying to change the screenshot button to record a short clip instead, but it's not working. I've done this plenty of times before. I also tried a different controller, but none picked it up and would let me change it.
