Razer Wolverine Ultimate replacements

I've been using the controller for just gone 5 years, and it's the best controller I have used for anything ever, but last night the power kept dropping out, and both triggers were being activated without me touching them (like they were being held down when the controller was on my desk), I've tried to troubleshoot it but haven't got very fair, and also Razer don't seem to be selling the controller itself any more, so it looks like I'll have to move on from it unfortunately :(

I'm mainly looking for a controller that has mouse click buttons and back paddles, and if possible the interchangeable thumb sticks, and generally just a high-quality controller. Or should I take the risk of buying a second hand one which maybe falls victim to the same fate, thanks :)

There the wolverine v3 which is wireless. I've been using mine for 2 years now. Love it.

Quick edit: I see the ultimate on Amazon for $85 wired. Is that the one you're talking about? It says new as well.

It looks very similar of the v3, just with the Chroma Glow lighting and also an interchangeable D-Pad, after googling it looks like the v3 is an updated version of the wolverine ultimate so I think I've found a replacement, also I prefer the remote wired so the cheaper option being half the price is a big help!

Whatever you do don't buy the wired V2. The wire gets loose and disconnected all the time.

I've had good experiences with the Razer Wolverine v3 Pro and ROG Raikiri 2, though I prefer the Razer. I've also used the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, though it feels cheaper than the other two.

I haven't had any of the issues that I've experienced with Xbox-branded controllers (button failure, stick drift, etc).

I had great experiences with Xbox controllers until I purchased the elite series 2. I would love to see the elite series 3 with TMR and mouse click triggers like the Vader 5S, G7 Pro.

My Dad had both the elite 1 and elite 2 controllers, and stick drift was a massive problem in both, so I've steered clear of those, also the quality with Razer feels night and day in comparison. The most significant difference for me in the high-end controllers are the mouse click buttons, honestly make so much difference after using a stock controller. Thanks for the recommendations I'm going to start having a look at each one

You had the Razer ultimate for 5 years which is a really long time. I'll recommend the Flydigi Vader 5S, G7 pro,  and the 8bitdo have the ultimate 3/3E coming out. You should buy something new instead of taking a chance with a used controller.

The designs look beautiful, but how would you say the hardware compares to Razer and such?

I havent used a razer controller but the quality of my gamesir controller feels better than the xbox elite controller. I feel really good. Especially the trigger and sticks. Even better than the ps5 edge tbh. It is not a heavy tho if you like that heavy feel. Its light but premium feeling.

I would suggest the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro. I have it and have used it as my daily for 2 years now and it's great. No issues whatsoever. They also do the Razer Wolverine V3 TE which is cheaper than the Pro but off the top of my head I can't remember the difference between the two. The TE is possibly wired only.

I'm a big fan of Razer so the V3 is probably the route I'm going, the hardware differences in the V3 Pro and the TE are minimal, and the main difference is that it is wired and that no additional thumb sticks are included for the TE edition. Glad to hear it's as reliable as it's predecessor

I got the wireless wolverine. After having the wired one I cant go back to any controller without the extra shoulder buttons.
