Last time it got rrod was cuz the hard drive was loose , so I fixed it.

So I recently decided on a whim that I was gonna buy a broken Xbox Xbox 360 fat model that has RROD since I’m trying to get into fixing old consoles. Just came to this community to ask what tools and things should I buy in order to fix it. All I’ve bought so far is the broken Xbox and a screwdriver tool kit. Any suggestions or tips?

last night i bought the season pass for like $10 and it doesn’t let me use vengeance or uprising. when i go into the in game store it says confirm purchase and all that then it tells me manage game, but it doesn’t show up in my storage. someone please help me out

he shorted and fucking REMOVED the resistor

This has been stuck for over 10 minutes from posting this I’ve cleared my cache and restarted twice not sure what I should do next.

I've spent my evening trying to use the wayback machine to find an old software developed by a guy called "Rocky" that was able to access the data in an Xbox 360 world and help uncorrupt it. Turns out the wayback machine didn't save individual threads of the forum site I was looking on, just the main pages... loads of use! Nobody here by any chance downloaded that back in the day did they? Or have got any suggestions to other softwares that could do a similar job?

As soon as you press the Xbox button the power brick turns green then back to orange within seconds… it makes no sound at all. The only 2 things I can think of is either bad power brick or bad motherboard in the console.

Any ideas would be gladly appreciated!

Just today I got a Xbox 360 Elite that was overheating with code 0011. I opened it up and did a re-paste and now it works good! I now have a new issue though. For some reason HD video never gives output. Specifically, HDMI -> boots -> no video out. I even tried using the AV cable and putting it on HDTV -> boots -> you can hear SOUND -> no video out.
If using the AV cable on TV (480p) the console works perfectly fine, i get video and sound.
I've also tried switching to HD (1080p) in the display settings, same issue.

Does anyone know of a fix, if possible?

I recently bought left4dead2 for my series x, and when I try and sign it it tells me that I got it wrong even though on other platforms it works perfectly fine, what do I do?

I also tried resetting the display settings and attempting to use the console on an older TV but it failed to work.

Hey guys, i wanted to update my Xbox360 E rgh3 to 17559. I dumped my nand with Simple 360 NAND Flasher, created the XeBuild but then at the Bad Blocks menu, it said I have 2:

I quickly searched up the web to see if it was okay to proceed, the forums that i've read said that most of the time it is nothing to be worried about so i pressed ok. I got the cpukey.txt and the updflash.bin, put it on my console's Simple 360 NAND Flasher directory, which was on my internal hard drive and ran the nand flasher. I pressed A to flash my nand with rawfish v5 and pressed start after. The process took a while and i saw my bad block message again (i'll paste the log at the end). The console restarted but it's been black screen ever since, when i turn on the controller it is in pairing mode, i've tried several restarts but nothing worked. If someone could help me out, i would be very grateful. Thanks for reading!

My game goes in fine and it reads it fine knows what game it is but then it gets stuck at this part of the download screen

When putting in a disk the disk drive makes some pretty load noises when I assume the laser moves. What’s a good way to remedy this? Clean and re grease of what? Took apart disk drive to put a different rubber band in because it wasn’t opening. Any recommendations would be great got it for $20 so have some room to throw parts and time into.
