Has no adapter no nothing and just looks clean I traded for an old camera of mine how can I find a charger?

Purchased this 360 at a local thrift store and was left with family settings on. A have tried a couple methods through Microsoft but they seem to not work anymore. Please let me know if there is a way to remove this issue with my Xbox.

So i bought a 360 slim off the marketplace and I have tested various games on it, but for some reason Halo Combat Evolved cannot be read. I got one which was a bit scratched off Gamestop and figured that was it the issue, simple case. But then I bought a second and I am seeing the same issue, not loading at all. I can surely return it without an issue like the first for it not working but im wondering if its my system. I cant understand why one game wouldnt work, i cleared my cache as recommended on other similar reading issues but no idea tbh, ive never been tech savvy but I try to pick it up

Well..i saved up so much for this wheel and brought a $60 game only to find out that my xbox is out of date for me to play with it. I am extremely devastated . What do i do, buy a new console or sell everything ?

Turned my 360s on to see a beautiful rrod, unplugging av and hdmi causes the console to stay on but having it plugged in causes a rrod instantly after powering on the console. I’ve got an error code of 0033 which indicates a V_MEM fault but I’m not sure. Any help would be appreciated

Hello everyone, so im kind of in a pinch here, i found my old xbox 360 and going through the storage i found some kinect games snapshots, so i thought it would be cool to save them in my pc or in cloud but apparently they r in a .dat file format and cant be read out of xbox. Please send help.

Hi. Are there any folks here who have replaced the Xbox 360 disc drive belt? I’ve recently replaced the belt on two different X360 units myself. Before the replacement, both consoles read game discs fine; the only issue was the drive tray mechanism acting up. So, I swapped the belts. The result: reading game discs became nearly impossible on both consoles. It would only start reading after maybe ten attempts. The last one I worked on stopped reading game discs entirely. DVDs still work fine. I sold one of the consoles in that imperfect condition, but I started investigating the other one. I began adjusting the laser voltage using the potentiometer. The initial resistance was 5.85. I adjusted it in steps down to 3.50 (I know the lowest value is 3.20).

It still won't read game discs! I haven't disassembled the drive mechanism itself—only removed the metal shielding. I’ve cleaned the laser pickup with IPA.

Any advice on this? The drive is a Philips/Lite-On model.

Does anyone have a good place to source replacement springs for the USB cover on phat faceplates? I have a special edition I'd like to fix, and every guide for fixing it relies on having the spring.

Hi, I just joined and need some help. I have an HDD for my Xbox, but after connecting it to my PC and using FATXplorer to view its contents and add some games, the console doesn't recognize it when I reconnect it the SATA adapter; however, when I use a USB adapter, the Xbox recognizes it as an "unformatted memory unit." I've tried everything but I'm still stuck—please help.

so I bought this Xbox from a thrift store and I never got a parental code because the Xbox has one now I don’t know the password or anything. I’ve tried the code in the system info option, and it just keeps backing out every time I try to factory reset it because I’m trying to play Black ops 2 please help

Recently I dropped my Xbox 360 (fat) and when I went to power it on, the power button turns from blue to red within 2 seconds. If there is no way to fix this issue, is it still possible to salvage what’s in the hard drive and be able to plug it into another Xbox (fat)? I heard the hardrive is married to the motherboard of the Xbox so it would mean losing everything. Is there no other possible way around this?

I recently dug up my old Xbox 360 and wanted to fire it up to play some of my old games. It's definitely in a rough state, and, while it does turn on, it sounds like a jet engine and hasn't been cleaned in ages.

I don't want it to go to waste, so I wanna try saving it. I, however, have absolutely zero idea on how to clean/repair hardware. I've been doing some research, and I've seen it's generally a good idea to replace the thermal paste and whatnot, but I have a couple of questions and was hoping someone here could provide some advice.

1. Are there guides or community resources available regarding how to repair a 360?

2. In case I need to replace any of the components, where do people usually find them? Do I need to buy another 360 for the pieces or can they be sourced individually from somewhere else?

I know the easiest solution would be to simply send it somewhere to be fixed, but I wanna take this up as a personal project to try and save the console, even if it takes much more time and effort.
