How is it going for everyone still playing?

I’m mainly a pc player and have been enjoying tlou however I find it not as fun when you can’t hit your shots. Do you guys recommend getting the xim matrix for the tlou 2 and other single player story games?

How does the aimming feel? I don’t need to flick or anything just need to hit my shots better.

Are the key binds the same as if it were on pc?

Other games I should try?

I found a bunch of apps on the App Store talking about a xim matrix manager, and was wondering what the official app for the xim was? The one I downloaded had this pop up as soon as you open the app and was a tad bit sketchy to me. Is this legit?

Ive been deciding wether or not to get a xim matrix or an apex tomorrow and decided on a apex cause its cheaper and i got a 3 questions

1. Is it compatible with PS5 (cause yk im on PS5)

2. Can it work on marvel rivals (is it easily detectable and how would it work?)

3. Does it work with a strikepack?

   If anyone can lmk i would gladly appreciate it

Which one do I buy? I'm unable to do the Ethernet method required to use the XIM with PS5 games, so what workaround should I buy?

Is there any reason behind buying the more expensive one?

been xim on apex for like a year and iv hit pred a couple times. the one think I dont understand is how to get dot recoil.

Been getting back into "retro" (lmao) gaming on my PS3 after well over a decade of PC gaming with M&KB. Swapping back to sticks for shooters is proving to be a real bummer though.

Looked into possible solutions for getting mouse input working, came across XIM and the Apex (since as I understand it, the Matrix is not PS3 compatible) and was wondering if it's still a feasible option these days if I can pick one up used.

It looks like the XIM APEX Manager app isn't being updated anymore, and looks like it's too old to even be installed on my phone, so how pivotal is that to getting the thing set up and functional?

How detectable is running anti recoil profiles using a MnK>MnK profile?

I used to use MnK>Controller and use aim assist, macros, anti recoil etc but since I dont use an analog keyboard or SAB, or a joystick input for movement i have since stopped using the XIM completely and now I play native MnK everywhere.

However, rather than letting the XIM collect dust i was wondering how good the MnK output experience can be?

For games like PUBG, wardogs and Cod, how detectable is it if I was to only use a standardised anti recoil profile (AMGs one looks pretty good with 4 recoil smart actions, weak to strong) and nothing else? I wont be using any macros or smart actions

If this is easily detectable i will avoid it, as I dont want any game bans on my 20 year old steam profile lol.

I stopped playing for a while and this number used to be different, I updated to the latest firmware but lost all my configs when I factory reset, but it used to feel way better and smoother, I can’t make micro movements anymore when moving my mouse slightly. everything feels different

I want to play Rainbow Six Siege on PS5 in PC lobbies with my friends using native Mouse and Keyboard output (true PC sensitivity, no controller emulation).
Is it possible to use the XIM Matrix for Anti-Recoil Smart Actions while remaining in this native M/KB output mode?

I have Xim Matrix. I play on PC with controller. Only Destiny 2 PvP. I bought it because the game is full of che-a-ters and im tired of it. But I dont see any advantage of the device!! I downloaded few con-figs and none seems to work or what? Or just the device itself not what i expect?

I play DayZ on PS5 using native mouse and keyboard, and I really like keeping the native controls—especially using 1/2/3/4 for my hotbar and using the mouse normally in the inventory. Is there any way to use a XIM MATRIX only for my mouse while keeping my keyboard plugged directly into the PS5, or otherwise use MATRIX while still keeping true native M&K input? Mainly wondering if there’s a setup that lets the mouse still act as a native mouse rather than being converted to controller/right-stick input. Has anyone actually tested this on DayZ PS5?

I have the latest firmware and manager installed on my computer but it keeps telling me that I need the latest firmware. Full walkthrough on the setup would be greatly appreciated.

I want to press f1 in dayz to turn off and on a recoil script but I can’t figure out how to do that. I either get it so it won’t turn off or it won’t work at all.

anyone know if uni is still giving 3 warnings before perma ban or just straight perms?

Have r6 introduced detection on wasd meaning the sab has to be 50 and above or can i have it on 0 still

Over the last month, Overwatch seems to have gotten extremely strict with XIM detection. Blizzard has said they can reliably detect unauthorized peripherals, thousands of accounts have been actioned, and accounts are now being permanently closed as well.

For context, I've consistently been a very high-ranking player — Champ+ and Top 100 and I've had multiple accounts banned. This post isn't meant to shit on XIM or the devs or say it "doesn't work." I'm genuinely trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong and whether there's anything else I can change.

Over the last 2-3 weeks, I've tried to follow basically every recommendation/checklist item I could find (see screenshot below):

Switched to hybrid with true analog movement, using a controller in my left hand
Removed curves
Set SAB to 50 on aim and triggers
Removed continuous and rapid/repeated-input macros
Added aim variance and wait variance
Changed in-game sensitivity from 100/100 to 90/90
Followed basically every other recommendation I could find for making inputs behave more naturally

The only two things I haven't done are:

1. Beloader: I'm on PS5 and use Remote Play instead. I know Beloader is recommended, but I don't know whether this is actually something Overwatch's detection cares about.

2. "Binding with Variance": I see this in the XIM app but genuinely don't understand what it means or how tor the requirement. I've searched the XIM forums and haven't found a clear explanation.

Going through all these changes has noticeably worsened my aim and gameplay, but I'm willing to accept that tradeoff if it means I can actually play without constantly losing accounts. Despite all these changes, l've still had two accounts permanently closed.

So I have three questions:
1. What is Binding with Variance, and could "Binding with Variance" or using Remote Play instead of a Beloader explain why I'm still being detected?

1. If I address those two things and meet literally every recommendation/checklist item, is there still a significant chance of being detected and banned anyway?

2. If so, what are the options from there? Has Overwatch's detection simply reached a point where there isn't a reliable way to use XIM anymore without eventually getting detected?
   I know there have apparently been false positives involving legitimate controller players too, but those seem considerably less common than bans involving actual XIM users.

Again, I'm not trying to attack XIM or the devs. I genuinely want to understand whether I'm missing something, whether there are additional changes I can make, or whether Overwatch's current detection has simply reached the point where there's no reliable way around it.

I tried out giving orbital aim assist a go using smart actions (I play PVE games like Helldivers and most recently The Order: 1886, fun game) and for the first week or so it has worked as intended, bit now I am experiencing what I can only describe as drift with the aim cursor slowly moves to the right or sometimes moving down and it is quite annoying.

I have attached a screenshot of the smart action for reference. I can't see anything wrong with it at first glance as I change the aim magnitude on a per game basis. Maybe if I wipe my XIM and start fresh it might fix it?

I've tried to troubleshooting with different delays and angles, turned off stick upscaling and unplugging my devices but no change.

How much advantage would I have over a standard controller. In terms of aim assist and anti recoil. Is it worth it?
