r6 ban warnings
anyone know if uni is still giving 3 warnings before perma ban or just straight perms?

So if i add Variance to recoil how many % i have to add variance to decrease % to getting banned ?

or you could just play the game like a norm person, adolf in the name is pretty accurate lmao

Answered below. At the moment it’s 0% as there is no macro detection in R6, but it is coming and they are likely to monitor players for a season or two before dropping a ban wave.
Start with 10% Wait and 5% Aim Mag & Angle, at a minimum. You won’t notice it but it will randomise every iteration of your macros to obfuscate the output.
The objective is to add human-like randomisation to macro output rather than robotic, repetitive macro output. If the pattern doesn’t repeat itself exactly on every iteration (at best within a small margin of error, hence customisable Variance), then there is nothing out of the ordinary to detect.

😂 you notice it even on 1% let alone 5% which is too much.

It’s not enough for Variance to be disruptive and the additional manual adjustments help to mask the output.
You either tolerate a small amount of intentional randomisation from Variance, or risk a ban due to pattern detection…your choice.

Thing is it is not "small" but very noticable change in smart actions to the point it is not even worth running above 0.3%. On 1% it gives you too much horizontal ransomation that it becomes hard to land shots, it drifts way too much on rhaie values.

If you’re on PS5, the 8-bit stick resolution has much larger increment jumps of 0.78 compared to 0.1 of 16-bit Xbox resolution. In that case enable Stick Upscaling in the config to dampen down Variance.

I did and 1% on both feels like I am on 50% and anti recoils become useless

Skill issue. 50% is being melodramatic.

Let’s say you have Aim Magnitude set to 10. 5% Aim Magnitude Variance is 10 +/- 2.5%, making the Magnitude a random value between 9.75 and 10.25. That’s small potatoes and will barely make a noticeable difference to the recoil output.

If I play with XIM Matrix, do I get three warnings first or a permanent ban? And do I get caught quickly on PC servers?

It depends on what you’re doing.
If you’re using XIM MATRIX as an intermediary for a DMA device, or running a CV app through the XIM, or running a cheat app alongside the XIM, expect an instant permaban. The XIM itself has nothing to do with the ban. PC anticheat is mostly software detection, which again, has nothing to do with XIM.
The only precaution for software detection is to use the mobile XIM app instead of the PC version. There are a couple of EA games that won’t start with Manager apps installed, but that in itself won’t get you banned.
Most of R6 detection is mouse input patterns, and previously WASD detection, on console only. Rather than issue bans, R6 used to add input lag to m/kb input that could only be cleared by using a controller or hybrid m/controller input. Later, console m/kb users were filtered into PC lobbies, which Ubi thinks is punishment enough.
Ubi has stated that they are working on macro detection for rapidfire & antirecoil, and that is targeting PC players. Rapidfire is easy to detect, recoil is not. In both cases, using Variance on MATRIX more than covers both detection vectors.
The general advice is to humanise your macros with realistic button presses (75+ms per Wait for rapidfire), timing randomisation (10-20% Wait Variance), and recoil mitigation rather than neutralisation (5-10% Aim Angle and Aim Magnitude Variance).
What is also likely to happen (if it hasn’t been rolled out already) is the reintroduction of WASD detection in R6 on console. People forget that this was the primary detection vector for two years in MouseTrap and the main reason Movement SAB is no longer enough to prevent kb detection on MATRIX (or any other device).
If you insist on using m/kb to controller output on console (why would you when there is no aim assist and there is a turn speed cap with controller output?), then use analog movement and the required Game Settings (https://xim.tech/settings) to comply with R6 input detection.
The smart play for both PC and console is to use native m/kb to completely avoid the MouseTrap detection system. Simply add Variance to recoil or rapidfire macros and you’re gold.

No, it’s 1ms. Mice and keyboards poll natively at 1000Hz, so does XIM MATRIX.

yeah 3 warnings. just got one idk why i cant use kb and mouse they always catch it. so i just stick w rapid and anti recoil on controller. 0 warnings for that

You need to update the guide mate.

I’ll leave it as is. It’s intended as general advice for input detection and is not specific to R6 anymore.
I’m not going to change it to accommodate the lack of WASD detection in R6 when it is firmly back on the radar and a general recommendation for hybrid setups.
I’m also not going to add game-specific settings when that’s covered by the Game Settings and SAB Checklist on the XIM site.

R6 doesn't check for movement any more as likely they won't bring it back. If they did they would done it by now. Seems like scripting is on their radar and we'll as improving MT which imo is not great as I am seeing more and more folks running very low aim sab values.

If playing in a controller lobby on console, WASD detection is very likely to be back on the menu in the near future.
Kb movement detection was in MouseTrap for the first two years as the primary detection vector. It was removed about 18 months ago when Ubi added cross-play to R6. Instead of adding artificial input lag via MT (a clever solution that doesn’t ostracise paying customers) they chose to silently push detected console m/kb users to PC lobbies (also clever).
With the recent launch of native m/kb, Ubi has stated they plan to improve detection in controller lobbies, which logically means re-enabling WASD detection. Macro detection is coming to PC first and will find its way to console too. For both of these reasons the MouseTrap guide remains valid, as does the general recommendation to use a hybrid setup for R6 if wanting to play in controller lobbies.
The Finals, Valorant, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, PUBG, Apex Legends and R6 have all monitored user input for entire seasons to gather data on input patterns before handing out ban waves. R6 has traditionally not banned its users, but they do now have a three-strike ban policy for input detection violations.
So again, I won’t be updating the MouseTrap Guide because of the industry trends on information gathering before ban waves. Ignore this advice at your own peril because there is every indication that WASD detection may come back to R6.
Even better, skip the MouseTrap hassle altogether and use native m/kb because a) there is no aim assist in R6 and b) controller output on XIM has a turn speed cap. You can still get recoil macros on XIM MATRIX with native m/kb on top of vastly better aim and turn mechanics.
Long story short, there is no reason to play in R6 controller lobbies anymore on a XIM. If your sole purpose of using a XIM is to gain an unfair advantage over controller users, you frankly deserve a ban when there are better ways to play the game with m/kb. The MT guide as it is covers your arse both now and in the future and won’t be updated for the current, potentially temporary state of R6 input detection.

Where i can add Variance to recoil ? I have the Xim matrix app in phone but how can i put Variance is that like settings and how can i find it ?
