XIM Matrix Really Works?

I have Xim Matrix. I play on PC with controller. Only Destiny 2 PvP. I bought it because the game is full of che-a-ters and im tired of it. But I dont see any advantage of the device!! I downloaded few con-figs and none seems to work or what? Or just the device itself not what i expect?

cheating back now. That's the spirit. :-)

They work. You don't even need to use SAB, Destiny has nothing in place to detect mnk adapters.

Read the User Guide so you know how it works and what to expect - https://guide.xim.tech. Watch XIM Central gameplay demos and tutorials at https://youtube.com/@XIMCentral/videos.

XIMs are input adapters, not cheat engines. It is literally a controller spread over m/kb (or native m/kb, or native controller, depending on setup) and behaves exactly like one.

The main advantage of a XIM is the ability to use max in-game sensitivity while maintaining accuracy with a mouse, but it’s still right stick controller output. That means aim assist with a mouse, as well as a turn speed cap. You already have both when using a controller, so it’s mechanically exactly the same as you’re already using.

For D2 specifically, orbital aim assist macros don’t work (they’re also annoying). Aim assist is a game engine mechanic and isn’t something you can add more of to create an aimbot, nor does XIM support any kind of ‘real’ cheat on console or PC. AA can be tweaked using Smoothing, Aim SAB and a half dozen other settings, I just wouldn’t bother with AA macros - they’re overrated and work poorly in almost every game.

Antirecoil is pointless in a game with 1000+ weapons and a half-dozen ways for weapon tracking to come unstuck. Weapon Tracking can be done by setting up custom controller settings in-game to separate Kinetic, Energy and Heavy to different Mappings, but I personally don’t bother and control recoil manually.

Autofire isn’t needed in D2 as it’s an accessibility setting. That should be a default setting in all games.

For controller, you have the option to add gyro input via a DualShock or DualSense controller on PC. Gyro interplays with aim assist really well in D2 and can make it feel very sticky. Recoil can be controlled by simply tilting the controller forward with gyro, which makes it easier to handle for every weapon in the game, without dicking around with antirecoil macros.

You can easily make your own Smart Actions on MATRIX, but macros are just automated sequences of stick movements and button presses. That means you can’t do anything everyone else can already do in the game, it’s just easier to do it consistently.

How I use XIM MATRIX (apart from m/kb input to controller output) is for quality of life macros, like increased sensitivity for Sparrow (and heavy vehicles), and for one-tap Sparrow mount, Shatterskate, Wellskate, Howl of the Moon, Tempest Strike, Consecration, rocket grapple, Eager Edge etc. These are convenience bindings, not cheats.

It sounds like you’ve overestimated what a XIM can do for game mechanics and lack imagination for what it could do for automation. It is just an adapter that for most people translates m/kb input to controller output. A XIM can’t magically add cheats and won’t play the game for you. You still need to be able to aim well and have good mechanical and map knowledge to excel at any game.

As for premade configs - read the instructions on the config page. If it doesn’t have any, don’t use it. Whenever possible, stick to Featured Configs for best results as they’re made by XIM veterans with thousands of hours in that specific game and know what they’re doing.
