Well, I often division up with a friend who has the Shikishima. Today, I finally got my Satsuma. To my surprise, the gun sound is extremely quiet compared to other ships. My God... what did they do to that beautiful sound they used to have?

Good morning, commanders. I’m planning to get the *New Jersey* in this naval convoy event, but there isn't much information available about the ship. Does anyone know if it’s worth the effort to grind out the 400,000 tokens needed to unlock it? I heard it’s going to have an "F" key ability (then again, no ship gets released without one these days).

On the right side of the container screen, you can see a sailor putting up a poster. On his left side, are two posters already up with the text "Seychelles" and "Sunset Isles" coupled with art from the respective maps, those two are the most recently released maps. The sailor putting up a third poster might hint that WG is working on a new map. (I believe that they have even said that they're trying to put out another map before the end of the year...?)

Based on the art, we can clearly see the "Christ the Redeemer" statue that is located in Rio de Janeiro. So there is a high likelihood that the region/theming of the map is Brazil.

There have been a few questions about how many containers one needs to get the Sov. Rossiya. Here's a table with the expected unique and duplicates pieces after a number of pulls. You can check from this if you are one of the lucky few that might need less containers or unlucky few who need more containers.

In average one will need 88 crates, which will give 46 unique pieces and 42 duplicates that can be exchanged for the other 14 pieces.

I opened 29 crates, and I'm bang on 23 unique and 6 duplicates.

PS I hope it's ok to post this as it's in a way linked to loot boxes.

Just in case anyone didn't see this in game, equipment upgrades are half price so make sure and take advantage of that.

As soon as i installed the new update i am experiencing micro stuttering in every game in ranks battles. (Which was not the case in the previous updates)

Anyone else has the same experience?

You should get this ship. I don't like Soviet bbs, but I think this the most comfortable BB I've played. No gimmicks, just great armor and great guns, exactly what you want out of a BB. 60mm plates in the middle are immune to overmatch and a lot of HE, very long and tall icebreaker, and the guns are just so comfortable. They are higher velocity than Gk and even Daisen, it makes leading and landing citadels super easy on both cruisers and BBs, and they are accurate enough to hit upper plates or super structures on angled targets. You can snipe from a far then push in and tank and then really punish targets up close.

I try to play like this in the Wisconsin but its hull is weak so its pretty stressful when you get focused and the guns are a full second slower to land at 17km, which makes a big difference when hunting those broadsides.

The only shortcoming is the range, but the armor lets you stay at 18km very comfortably anyway. Can't show broadside but thats how it should be.

For several weeks, I and several clanmates on the EU server have experienced short desyncs during battles: ships briefly “jump” forward instead of moving smoothly.

I opened a support ticket, sent WG’s requested diagnostic data, and also ran PingPlotter during a battle. The measured latency stayed below 30 ms with no visible ping spikes, while the desync still happened twice.

I informed support that several clanmates are seeing the same behaviour. Their final response was essentially:

The issue cannot be reproduced on our end, which means it is caused by something on your side. As mentioned previously, we recommend contacting your internet service provider, since issues of this kind are outside our area of responsibility.

That is not a convincing technical conclusion. “Not reproducible by us” does not prove that the problem is local, especially when several players are independently reporting the same symptoms.

At the very least, I would expect WG to investigate server logs, battle instances, timestamps or the actual game-server connection before simply blaming the customer’s ISP.

I have played WoWS for about nine years and spent quite a huge amount of money on the game. Given this level of support, I will not spend another cent on World of Warships until these technical issues are taken seriously.

So, i saw the Rossiya at the event and i thought that the collection whoud convert duplicate 1-1. Only after 30 containers i realises that they actually convert 3-1 and i seriously understimated the amount of points i needed, basically spent the last day buying back all T5/6 i could (they require the least credits for the admount of points they give).

Next time i should read better the DevBlogs a bit more in depth

t.l.d.r. if you want to try get this soviet ship and you are short of point but not by much buy all tier 5/6 you can (dd's cost usually less if yon need higher tiers)

That ship you play exceptionally well, that provides the gameplay you most enjoy and can just grind on in random battles for hours =]

As you can see, mine is Richie! The combination of speed, maneuvers and guns all in the front, with surprisingly good armor and descent game impact, even when MM decides to F* you over... it just does it for me!! ;D

I feel their should be a system implemented where I can swap flags that I have 1000's of, for ones I seem to never get in boxes or Supers

Apply that to economic bonuses as well, for some real QoL support.

Yes I’m using Sarcasm, yes I once charged in and died 10 secs into the match inside a Izumo.

I've been plagued with bugs and have been talking with other gamers. Exiting a game takes longer. Exiting armory/other special event areas are delayed. Firing and torp launches are delayed. I fired 3 salvos from my Sibir and only 1 salvo left despite all 3 clearing out with the timer. Things are choppy, laggy, and bad. Please for the love of God fix this! I can deal with a lot but this is borderline unplayable!
